In the past I have purchased those tiny disposable tanks that you can get at Party City, and they’re such a waste of money — you don’t get very much helium and then you have to worry about taking the tanks to be recycled somewhere. Otherwise, you can rent a tank elsewhere but you have to worry about having a big enough vehicle to put it in, getting there during their open hours, and dealing with a deposit… Renting from Prime Helium is so much more convenient! Drop off and pick up times are well coordinated in advance and it’s just EASY.
I wish customer service everywhere was like this!

How did I find this place?
I was standing at Arnes Warehouse in Houston feeling overwhelmed with lack of customer service and completely useless staff. Frustrated with the entire policy and lack of information from Arnes, I flipped through Unilocal and found Prime Helium– with NO review to go by.
I was nervous, but I called to inquire– on a Saturday afternoon. Edward (one of three guys that run this company) answered and completely explained the prices, the helium tank capacity and even help me with the quantity that I needed to buy regarding latex 11″ balloons, streamers and Mylar balloons.
The price came out to be $ 157 including delivery, tax and rental for a medium tank/​approx 300 latex balloons.
They accept check or cash upon delivery.
Credit card and paypal online.
No fussy $ 250 deposit like a place like Arnes.
No heavy lifting and terrible customer service.
PH arrived on time as noted in contract via email.
They text you before arrival and at the time of arrival.
Most accommodating times and absolutely helpful with balloon training and even stayed around to pick it up on the same day of event.
If you want peace of mind, delivery, convenience and superior communication via phone, text and email — for the SAME price, call them. (I think this is cheaper than others, to be honest)
Why would anyone want to drive around a huge tank of helium in their car and deal with the fuss of returning it within 36 hours later.
I feel so lucky to have found PH. This was for my diva-​like baby shower at a dinner/​ballroom, party of 80 ppl. I was not stressed with the whole balloon project.
