This place was ABSOLUTELYAMAZING! The service was great. the food, words can’t even describe… More than delicious & I definitely recommend this restaurant! It was an amazing experience over all, management even came by our table to see how everything was going.

Horrible place, DONOTGOHERE!!! First of all, it took us awhile to make a reservation and the person who answered the phone had bad attitude. And THISNOTALLYOUCANEAT! more like ALLTHEYLETYOUEAT. they only gave you 2 grilled shrimps, and the meat only came for the first 15 mins, after that they will stop going to your table. We even requested the waiter and the manager for some more meats but we didn’t get it until like 15 mins later. It’s so bad, I know it’s not FOGO but we still pay more than $ 30/person. NEVERGOTHEREAGAIN.

Wow, the selection of meat was quite extensive and everything was delicious. Special kudos to the tri tip with mustard. And, along with everyone else, I HIGHLY recommend the pineapple!!! We arrived around 6:30 on a Saturday evening without a reservation but we only had a short wait of about 30 minutes. We spent it with the very personable bartender who made a killer caprihinia. We will return because we had such a good time.

Bought a Groupon for a dinner for two — $ 59. Figured I’d try it out since that’s about the price for one at Fogo. Reservation required for the Groupon. Called and a rude guy answered the phone and took down my info. My expectations weren’t high going in, and knew it wasn’t going to be Fogo quality, but it was even worse than I expected. Restaurant was dead, despite a reservation being required. Ambience is like a wannabe fancy restaurant, but missing the mark. Carpet looks dingy and the place just doesn’t feel inviting. The host was rude, some 20 year old that you can tell would rather be somewhere else. Pretty sure it’s the same guy that took my reservation. Salad bar items were mediocre, and the hot side dishes on the warmers were off temperature(not hot). Had to ask for the cheese rolls. These were good, and were actually the best part of the meal. Next best was the roasted pineapple. Sad when the top two things at a Brazilian steakhouse aren’t meat! Meats were tough and overcooked. Their rare/medium rare is medium at best. And the different types were either over-seasoned or bland. When it was time to close out, no one brought the check. Finally walked up to the front and asked for the check. Don’t think you’re covered from the Groupon, they’ll give you a bill for tax. I’d rather pay $ 52 a person at Fogo for good food and service! Note to self: If a restaurant is resorting to Groupon offers to attract business, there’s probably a good reason.

So I’ve been here maybe 3 times before and they’re caramelized pineapple kept me coming back! But this will be the last for a while. The service was horrible and the meat was either rubbery, full of fat or «well done”=burnt to a crisp!!! They have a big selection of meats but not today same 4 making the rounds. When I asked for the ribeye they said sorry we don’t have that today… really wt!

Quality of meat sucked! Very very tough meat with a burn taste. Well done is more like burnt to a crisp! Cheese breads taste like a roll from Red Lobster.

I bought a Groupon for this visit. Have been here about 4 times before. The place has always been BYOB with a corking fee. I guess management has changed so they no longer do that. They also no longer do anything special for your birthday. Previous management had given free desserts. Boooo A lot of the meat on their menu was not served. It’s basically the same 7(roughly counting) selection of meat. Asked for medium rare, but sometimes didn’t get the right cut. Service is amazing. The wait staff is very attentive and constantly makes sure you have everything you need. Their also very friendly. Only had about 6 tables including our table on a Monday evening.

I am giving this review based on the horrible experience I just had December 31, 2015 New Year’s Eve. My husband and I have celebrated every birthday, anniversary, special date night and new years eve at Pradaria since 2012. All of which we were able to use our purchased Groupon. This past new years eve, we decided to bring 2 of our friends who had been asking to accompany us on one of our Pradaria excursions. I made the reservation about 3 weeks prior to ensure that seating would be available before I purchased the Groupon. When the 4 of us arrived all excitedly for our reservation, there was a sign on the front of the door telling us that Groupons would not be honored!!! My husband, myself and our 2 guest were mortified!!! I spoke with the manager on duty and explained to him that my husband and I were regular customers who had been patronizing Pradaria since 2012 and that we had dined every new years eve there since 2012. The manager explained to us that the owner decided to switch it up and not honor Groupons on new years eve because it was considered a holiday. If it had been new years day which is the official holiday, I would have understood, but news flash owner of Pradaria!!! New Years day is the actual holiday!!! Needles to say that our yearly tradition was ruined and our 2 friends first experience was ruined behind a few extra dollars!!! Some people are just so greedy that they fail to realize how far customer satisfaction can carry them. My husband and I will no longer patronize Pradaria, and we will let all of our family, friends and church members know how little the owner of Pradaria values their customers. Angus and Nelore will now be our go to spots for our Churrascarian dining experiences. The Groupon cost us $ 59 for 2 people and the buffet new years eve was $ 36.99PP!!! Pradaria ‘s owner just lost a loyal customer behind roughly$ 15!!! Unbelievable greed!!!

It’s been about 5 times now that I have visited this Brazilian steakhouse place, and I really don’t have much to complain about. It’s definitely one of the cheaper priced steakhouse in town, and the food is excellent. I only had lunch there before so I can only speak for the food there during lunch time but they have the typical same steak meats as the other places you find in town. The meats are well seasoned and prepared, salad bar is what’s expected, fresh and clean. The only thing that I would complain about is the mussels, it didn’t taste very fresh, felt very rubbery. Overall, I like this place especially for the price.

To be honest I feel like I just wasted money here that could’ve gone towards someplace so much better. I tried not to let the reviews discourage me from trying this place out but oh man, I left feeling pretty disappointed in myself for purchasing a groupon to have a decent dinner with my boyfriend here. The cheese bread is okay. I didn’t bother with the salad bar. We were asked how we wanted our meat and we both said medium rare, however much too often our cuts were medium or medium well. It seemed out of the five or six servers that night only one of them seemed to know what he was doing. I don’t think we ate our money’s worth, we ended our dinner early and decided to call it a night. Not all, but most of the meat cuts were dry and I found myself beginning to get full by having to keep drinking water after finishing each slice. A lot of people raved about the roasted pineapple here, it was like having a warm candied juicy pineapple slice in your mouth that ended up being a bit too sweet for us, but we didn’t mind seconds of it. The service overall wasn’t horrible as I dreaded it would be, there were a few times when we had to wait a while after we asked for anything in specific or if anything we had to request it more than once. At the end we were given a bill charged with $ 5 for groupon tax and had our paid check handed back to us from the hostess without a single«thank you» or «have a good night». I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you don’t mind quantity over quality.

Pradaria is a cute place that is welcoming with it’s gracious host. It’s like any other churrascaria where they keep bringing you meat and you basically have to be ready to say no at some point. My experience started a little badly with the salad bar and everything looked neglected. The potato salad was grainy and the hot sides looked like they were hot once upon a time. On to the reason for the deduction for another star — the«spinach soup.» A bowl of soup always brings a smile to a person’s face. It brings warmth and joy from the first spoonful to the very last ritual of sopping the bread with soup. This did not happen last night. Instead this soup was basically a liquid marinade that seemed to be in a soup pot sitting for days. It lacked any consistency of what a soup feels like to me. In my experience at various Brazilian restaurants, a soup has never been that watery or even grainy. #soppysoup #neglectedlove … but I digress. I am not sure what other people were complaining about but the meat did keep coming. I had the GroupOn and I received excellent service. The servers were knowledgeable about the meat. When I requested medium, I received medium. Unlike some other places, they were generous with their meats and kept bringing the meats repeatedly. The only complaint I would have is that they work on their salad bar. Granted it is a meat for all type of place but some of us still like to eat our greens. If they fix their salad bar, I think this place has a great potential to be a great restaurant instead of just a good restaurant. Side note: They have Samba nights and I can’t wait to go back for those!

Repeat after me **NOFOGONOGOGO** Soooooo… I got a groupon certificate from my aunt, for my mom and I to go here and… well… Here’s the deal, I’ve never been to Fogo De Chao or any churrascaria for that matter, but I’ve heard nothing great things and I’m sure the service is great as well. Now, with all of that said, when you attempted to emulate a high end restaurant, get the basics down like #1 Have a bartender at the bar. Was I supposed to fix my own drink while I wait for my table? #2 Get attentive hostesses #3 Make sure the restaurant is nice and clean. Maybe wipe down a wall or 5… #4 Make sure the waiters start with saying something like…“Is this your first time dining with us?“ I promise, I’m not being snotty but honestly these are very good pointers that I’ve also seen other Unilocalers complain about. Why it’s not being fixed I’m not sure. Once the hostess seated us we were left there to just hang out for a bit. Be in mind… I’ve never been to a churrascuria so I wasn’t sure how to react or what was next. All I’m familiar with is the carving of the meats. When the waiter came, brought us drinks, then he left and we were just hanging out there at the table waiting. Once we tracked somebody down to ask them what was next it was smooth sailing from there. *WEHAAADTHEMEATS* which dried pretty quickly once it was cut from the meat stick thing(meat prong?). I didn’t really like the meat like that and the selections from the buffet were way below average and I was disappointed. The wine selections were cheap and nasty however, the roasted pineapple… OMG! I have no idea what they put in that but that was the BEST pineapple I have ever tasted in my LIFE! The pineapple gets 5 stars and was the highlight of my night. My waiter, bless his heart, he was really sweet so I left him a big tip… but he is a product of his environment. If this is what I had to look forward to at FOGO de Chao then I’m glad I didn’t have to pay for it. However, I know it’s not what I have to look for over there and I’m still glad that I didn’t have to pay for it.

Look for the Groupon deal that offers dinner for around $ 25 per person. The salad bar was unimpressive. My friend had the soup and it was very runny and didn’t taste good. The mashed potatoes were not good and not warm at all. They really need to improve on the freshness and presentation of the salad bar. The meats were brought around pretty quickly and they were all delicious. Everything was seasoned well and nice and juicy. We asked for some grilled pineapple and it was very tasty with a cinnamon coating. I really liked the variety of items. We took a break from meat and after about 10 minutes turned our cards over again for more meat. Never saw anyone again for about 20 minutes. One person came by, we got one more meat and that was it. They were very quick to bring our checks and get us out of there. It was really nice but apparently a second around is not encouraged. Good flavor on the meats, good pineapple, good price if you have a Groupon. Not good if you want a good salad bar or nice atmosphere and experience. Probably won’t go back…

I was very disappointed, I have been here 4 times in the last month because of planned nights out and every time disappointed Ted. Salad bar foods were very messy looking. The hot foods were NOT hot and had so little in them, I asked for fresh refills and they did not bring them out most visits till I learned to go up with a plate and just empty the thing so they had too. Several times we would ask for something. And it took multiple times before they came out with it. On the weekday they were coming out with medium meats and I kept asking for medium well and they just weren’t bringing them out. It was also the same 3 or so meats, so was very irritated. I kept hoping subsequent visits would be better. Management didn’t seem to care we were upset by the poor service

Attended a birthday dinner for six for my boyfriend’s dad here with Groupon tickets. Overall the entire experience was horrible, which was surprising for a Brazilian churrascaria. At the beginning, before they brought any meat around, our server asked us how each of us preferred our steaks cooked. Easy response, rare and medium rare. When they came around to me, I asked for rare but more than once they sliced me medium. I had to pass it to my boyfriend. Multiple people came by to ask us if there was anything specific we wanted, but even after 45 minutes, what we asked for never came around. It was getting pretty ridiculous. By the time it finally came out, we were pretty fed up. As for the décor, inside was nice. Upscale, dim lights, quiet music; the whole shebang. Unfortunately, the food and service just didn’t live up to its image.

I’ve been to Fogo a couple times, and I’ve even tried Churrascos on Westchase. This place, Pradaria, with a groupon costs only $ 20, for nearly the same selection and flavor as Fogo. Granted, the bread is not nearly as puffy, and the meat here isn’t as tender or juicy as Fogo. But for the price, this place is a great introduction to Brazilian Churrascaria. On a scale of zero to fogo, I’d rank this a 6 or 7. The service is great, no problems at all, and the servers were always willing to take orders for any of the side items, even though they were quite uncommon(yummmm chicken hearts) Oh and the Pineapple. Don’t fall for the pineapple, it’s too delicious to resist. EDIT: just tried out the competition, this place is a good place to return to, compared to the many others in Houston.

Came here for my uncles birthday for brunch, it wasn’t bad, it’s your typical Brazilian steak house. I wasn’t a big fan on these cheese bread though, they tasted kind of stale and hard. I love that they offer the hot pineapples! Yum!!! Their salad bar has a wide variety, and unlimited sides are accessible and no need to wait! Lemonade is a bit too sweet though.

This is my first Brazilian steakhouse and I enjoyed it! Although I have no means for comparison, I thought Pradaria fulfilled my expectation: lots of delicious meats. When I walked in, I was surprised by the lunch price that was much lower than I have expected: $ 20.95. That being said, it is a promotional price although it’s only $ 5 less than the normal lunch price, so if you don’t want to spend too much money on Brazilian steakhouses, this is a good place. Time to eat! I was so happy to have so many meats coming my way. Yeah, I’m a carnivore. Almost all the meats are still piping heat and all the waiters who delivered them are friendly and professional. Meats are meats, but my favorite ones have to be the top sirloin and garlic beef, the two most flavorful cuts I had. If your dream meat isn’t coming to your table, you can always ask your waiter to send a request to the kitchen. Most likely though you would already be overwhelmed by meats to do that if you never turn your card down. The only time the meat allowed down for me was when suddenly a group of 20+ people say next to the kitchen door and basically sucked up everything that came out :( Anyway, Pradaria is a good steakhouse that is especially cheap. It also has a decent sized salad bar so you don’t feel too guilty for eating so much meats. Since dinner is just an extra items or two, I would definitely recommend lunch for the best value! — tl;dr version: 1) Good Brazilian steakhouse 2) Great value especially during lunchtime

I bought a groupon here to try out for Mother’s day dinner with my family. I couldn’t get a reservation time I wanted online through Unilocal so I decided to call them and they were able to fit me in. I let them know I had a groupon and everything was taken care of. I received a text message confirming my reservation on the same day. When we came in we were immediately seated. We were served hot cheese bread and those were SOGOOD. Could have skipped the meat and ate those and yuca fries all night long… The salad bar is not too bad. Good selection but the only thing my family really enjoyed were the yuca fries. As far as the meat service… In the beginning it started off very slow. But then it got too much towards the end that my family couldn’t keep up. I liked the garlic beef, shrimp, lamb, and pineapple the best. Service was great as our waitress continually checked on us and cleared plates for us throughout our meal. Try it with Groupon first if not it’s about $ 33 per person for dinner.

Honestly, this place was quite he disappointment. The only thing I keep thinking about this place is that it seemed like most of its food was not fresh. The good foods included some of the meat choices that came around and their sushi that showed up at the salad bar towards the end of our meal, which was s shock. The meats, especially the seafood were bland and definitely not fresh. I literally spit out he shrimp and oyster because it was not fresh whatsoever. even the bacon wrapped dishes were bland. How can that be??? It’s wrapped in bacon! Honestly, there are so many restaurants in houston that this place needs to step up their game significantly to get repeat customers. Fresher food is not that hard to do. The food was so poor that I don’t feel the need to keep going with the rest of my typical reviews which include service, décor and overall ambiance.
