This is the worst of the popeyes. I wish they had more restaurants in the area. I will not be going to this location ever again. Rude workers. Not attentive at all. You can find yourself waiting in a line that doesn’t exist just because they refuse to greet you and let you know its okay to place an order. I have been here twice. Both times I have seen this place well staffed with employees but customer service and people skills suck. Now back to the imaginary line in front of you. You will see the staff behind the counter walking around with chicken platters and boxes but that is what they are paid to do i believe. Because they wont take your order efficiently. Like you came there not knowing what you want to order. Did they add steak or gluten free crust chicken to the menu? And forget about the drive thru. Oh I think I ran out of space. Cause I can go on. But I dont want my chicken to get cold.

Yep, don’t worry I found it, that’s right the worst Popeyes in the Houston area. No one cares about you or your food here. I ate some of mine, but it was cold, because I had to wait at the counter 2 separate times(9 minutes total) for condiments. Sad, Sad, and Pathetic.

Best Popeyes I’ve been to! Prices were still outrageous for fast food but no one does red beans and rice better! This is a new location. Service was fast and friendly. Specials were plentiful as well. Easy in and out.

I absolutely love Popeyes and I’m addicted to a lot of what they have to offer(esp the Chicken n’ Waffle Tenders – I wish they were permanently on the menu). However, this is one of the worst locations I’ve been to. It’s relatively new but you wouldn’t know it. I come here for lunch every once in a while because it’s within walking distance from my job. The employees here are extremely rude. They practically throw the food into your car at the drive-thru window with no smiles or even a thank you. The orders are consistently wrong and they are always out of their promotional items. I come to this location for convenience and I love Popeyes. However, I’ve had so many bad experiences that I will not be coming back! If you want a good experience with Popeyes – I recommend the Westheimer and Hayes location. It’s near my house and they are always extremely friendly.

LOUSYSERVICE. I waited over 5 minutes as the ONLY person at the counter while the Manager and Counter Clerk flirted and played in the back of the kitchen. The drive thru attendant ignored me entirely. Finally the Order Filler came to the counter, took my order and filled it himself. The Manager and Counter Clerk walked up as I got my order, continued their giggles and good time ignoring me entirely. VERYRUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. Were it my store, that Manager would be looking for another job. The food at this store is not up to par for Popeyes, it is quite inconsistent. The store at Fry Road and Morton is much better. The people are friendly. The service is professional. All in all, an entirely superior experience versus the Barker and Park Row store.

I have been to this location a 2 other times, the first time was okay. the second time, my tenders weren’t cooked and when I pointed out to them, they acted like oh well. Today I went for lunch, haven’t’ been in almost 5 months. the drive thru was backed up so I went inside, and that was even worse. I waited in line for 30 minutes, because they only had one register working, the manager was rude to customers and getting orders incorrect. the drinks were all almost empty and when another customer mentioned it to the manager he didn’t really care. Thankfully they couldn’t mess up my popcorn shrimp, but they were rude to everyone. The ceiling was leaking from the rain so there wasn’t many places to sit. you could not pay me to eat at this location ever again, three strikes and you are out.

The other reviewer is right — CHECKYOURFOOD! This location opened right near my apartment and every single time I have gone my order has been wrong! Tonight I ordered catfish and shrimp. When we came to the window he said the catfish meal and we corrected him and said no it was shrimp and catfish. We got home and opened the order and it was all catfish! I should’ve known better to check seeing as it is never correct. We have complained so many times and it falls to deaf ears. I completely understand that working at a fast food restaurant may not be a career choice for everyone. However, the staff should have enough dignity in who they are to put some effort into their job. Corporate needs to retrain or fire everyone and rehire, including management. Terrible!

Check your order before you leave! We ordered the 16 piece which was supposed to come with 3 large sides. We ordered 2 large red beans & rice and one side of cole slaw. We received 2 large side of mashed potatoes and gravy without a third side. The young man at the window gave us our food and slammed the window shut without me even getting to say have a nice evening. Rude staff and a rip off. GOTOANOTHERLOCATION. We called to complain and were hung up on on the first attempt. I called back and spoke to the manager who was nice enough, but there is no excuse for this type of service. A shame since I live nearby. I’ll be going to the Mason Road location from now on. Again, GOTOANOTHERLOCATION!

This Popeyes location just recently opened and I decided to give it a try since I live just a few minutes away. BAD idea, the staff is extremely rude and the manager barely speaks English and when I had went in from being parked after I had ordered through the drive-thru for 15 minutes, he refused to apologize and get my food prepared accordingly. Instead, I had waited another 15 minutes in the lobby until everyone that came in after me had ordered, got their food, and left. Also, the girl taking the order couldn’t understand what I was saying when it was simply on their menu until I restated it again the third time. There are other restaurants to go to nearby so don’t give this a try.
