I really like Dr. Pollard. He literally rescued me from a terrible experience with another OB/GYN… I respect him a great deal because he was able to see me on a somewhat emergency level basis, and began a very prompt treatment plan. He doesn’t play around — if he is on to something with your diagnsis, he is going to start your treatment plan immediately. For me, that included a hysteroscopy(not FUN at ALL). Had this been done two years ago under the care of the quack I went to before, I might have avoided two miserable years of heavy painful cycles. That being said, a diagnosis of multiple fibroids was confirmed, and regretfully the only treatment option was a total hysterectomy. Dr. Pollard performed my surgery himself, and I am now just under three weeks post op. I highly recommend him to women who are dealing with similar issues. Do NOT let your OB/GYN treat you with anything less than tremendous respect and compassion. With Dr. Pollard, you will be treated like a princess… hell, he even called me princess in the hospital. While that may be condescending to some, I found it to be really sweet and sincere. He really does care about your well being and his staff is equally kind. Five stars — outstanding care, knowledgeable and HONEST doctor, easy appointments.

This doctor does an adequate job at gynecological surgery, however, he does not know what he does not know. Unfortunately, that caused me to doubt the symptoms related to my condition and prolong getting proper treatment, and finally a surgery that fixed my problems and helped my pain management. He needs to learn more about the diseases he treats. Endometriosis is NOT his speciality. He does not know that women with endo suffer with intestinal problems, fatique, migraines and leg pain and he will be condescending while telling you that it’s all in your head. I would say if you have something serious wrong, save time, money and sanity and find someone who has done his research and specialized in the condition.
