Piper and Muse

After planning my wedding for a year I started to panic about six weeks before the big day! We had so many moving parts and pieces that I was so overwhelmed. In comes Piper!!! Piper took over all the details of our wedding, helped in negotiations with renegade vendors and put on a first class event!!! What a blast! Still getting emails from those who shared in our day including our participating vendors saying it was truly the event of the year! Thank you Piper & Muse! Xoxo

Okay, so I wasn’t the bride who booked this company — but I was the bridesmaid for the bride who went through Piper & Muse. I felt compelled to write a review.
They are the best! I mean. Truly paid attention to details, carried out the event accordingly and smoothly, when things didn’t go right, Piper ensured everything would be take care of.
I went to their website and read their philosophy — and they pretty much did what they promised and more!
I commend these crew of three. My best friend, the bride enjoyed her wedding — despite some set backs from the weather and all. But if I could do it all over again (already married), I would have gone with Piper & Muse, hands down.

Piper and Muse was one of THE best vendors on my team! We worked with Krista who had two helpers the day of our wedding. She did an awesome job and was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. She was very responsive, flexible, and available via text or email or phone for me, even if just for moral support.
I’m a super-​organized person: I have spreadsheets of our guest list, the budget, the table assignments… you name it, and I bet you it’s in my binder with its own color-​coded tab. I had a very DIY-​wedding for 140 people about an hour away from Houston. There were a ton of moving parts and independent vendors since our venue was only that. We had a separate ceremony site & officiant, ceremony musician, rentals, caterer, band, photographer, florist, and baker. On top of that, we DIY’d the appetizers and some desserts for the wedding, brought all the linens and decorations, made flowers for the house party, and made all the stationery. This was a true coordination challenge, and I knew I wanted someone to be in charge of executing all the carefully planned details so we could both relax and enjoy the wedding.
Well, three weeks out from the wedding, we decided we needed a new coordinator (our other one — not with Piper & Muse — was not a good match for us). We called up Piper, who has made a great name for herself in the area, and she let me know that Krista was available. Krista met with my husband and I two days later for an initial consultation. She was super attentive, took notes, and asked questions to make sure she understood exactly what we wanted. It was great that she and Piper were so responsive because we were really in crunch time and needed a new DOC right away.
We then proceeded to hire Krista, who completely took over vendor communication and started confirming all the details from timelines to final orders and invoices. She also followed up with our vendors on some last minute questions that popped up and changes in guest count.
We met one last time before the wedding for me to give her the «rain layout» (we had an outdoor wedding) and some final details. Krista also came to the rehearsal at the church with zero complaints, and she helped some very confused groomsmen and a confused church coordinator out with the processional.
Krista showed up well in advance of «go time» (our vendor arrivals) and had everything in place by the time I showed up at the venue for our first look. I got NO urgent phone calls and was able to just enjoy my wedding day with my husband. She kept us on schedule during the day (for photos, dinner, ceremony…) and helped me with everything from making sure I was fed to the final exit (sparklers). The tons of stuff that we took to the venue was all packed up smoothly.
The price that is charged for DOC packages is well worth the money, especially for DIY weddings (as opposed to all-​inclusive venues). It included vendor coordination, DOC for over 11 hours, consultation, and rehearsal direction. We couldn’t have done it without a point person, and Piper & Muse definitely delivered!
