I was excited when I came across this place because they close later than another restaurant I like. About a 5 minute drive for me so that was a plus. Unfortunately the lady with the short hair cut at the front isn’t very friendly. Didn’t greet me, no smiles, no thank yous. Overall the food was good, just what I expected. Will stick to pick up.

I wish I had taken a picture of the fried egg rolls. They were tiny and cost 3.15 for 2 they were skinny in diameter and short over all. It was a 1 and a half bite egg rolls. Not much flavor to them. RIPOFF If you are reading this, this will be your forewarning. Phở tai chin wasn’t all that great the meat was super tough and dried out. Broth was mediocre. Won’t be visiting this place again. My daughter ordered a chicken noodle soup which she loved. Came with a cup of water with 2 plastic disposable spoons and scissors. I’m guessing it’s for her to cut the noodles?!? NO Thanks who knows how sanitary it is.

I really enjoyed my first time here. The food was good, came out fast, and the price was fair. The entrance is hard if you are coming west on FM529. The service was good. 3 out of 4 of the people in my group ordered phở and they brought out a small plate of vegetables, wish they gave more cilantro. #1, #2, #11, pork with rice and spring roll and combination fried rice is good!

First of all, let me say I love Phở. Phở Saigon is always fresh and the staff is always very friendly. I have brought my family and friends here many of times and they have all seemed to like it and enjoy it just as I do. I would definitely recommend to others if your looking for some good spring rolls and Phở. I have also tried a few other things on their menu and was also just as good.

The phở broth is delicious! Definitely tasteful and full of flavor. Everything is pretty fresh every time I come. I would say this is on my top 5 list for phở places/Vietnamese restraints in the area!

Phở Tai is best when you want something hot and tasty. The broth has much flavor unlike others I’ve had. The beef noodle soup with round eye steak is sure to hit the spot. If you want something to chew on try the«Com Bo Nuing Sa» it’s my favorite steak platter here. The steak is very tender, it’s cooked to perfection.

Our first time here. My boyfriend and I wanted Vietnamese quick food. We came here for dinner. Service was fast. Food was okay. I had Thit Nuong Cha Gio(Vermicelli with charbroiled sliced pork and fried egg roll). My boyfriend got Banh Mi Bo Kho(French bread with beef stew). My sliced pork on my vermicelli was dried and thin. The special sauce seemed waterdowned. At least my egg roll was good. My boyfriend’s beef stew didn’t have much meat, mostly cartilage and fat. His french bread was soft and crispy. He dipped his bread in the stew. He filled up on the bread. He would have liked it if there was more meat. We will try the phở next time.

I love coming here! Definitely a great spot for lunch. Parking is tight and crowded when busy during peak hours lunch and dinner. So plan accordingly. I love getting the rice noodle bowls. My favorite is the bbq pork. Yummy. The phở is definitely good. I don’t get it too often but I love the pork. I recommend this place for a quick lunch or light dinner. It’s rather competitively priced. Just don’t drink the water it has a funny smell and after taste that may sway you.

I’ve always ordered togo food so can’t say much about service here, but the food is good. Ordered couple of times and never was disappointed. I would recommend all of vermicelli options, spring roll and banh xeo. They taste good and closed to the authentic flavor profile. Togo portion is big enough to share, especially the Banh Xeo.

The service was fast and the food is surprisingly good. I don’t normally expect phở places to be good outside of chinatown but the phở here was decent, as were their non Vietnamese dishes like the pad Thai. I really liked their Thai tea though. It wasn’t too sweet or too bitter. I appreciate their portions because although slightly smaller than typical places, its enough to keep you full but in a healthy way.

This was one of the best phở I have had in Houston. The place is clean and the attendant were nice. The water did taste suspicious. They dont have fresh coconut water like I like with phở so don’t ask. The broth was very seasoned well however I prefer my own jazz in phở so it made a great base. The tendon was mighty soft didn’t want chewing to end but it was like butter. They have a nice lil money tree by the front desk with origiami $ 1 i thought that was interesting. Will definitely be back. Love me some phở!

Been going here a while now so I figured a review is in order. Let’s break it down: I’ve essentially tried most of the different types of phở they offer here, and one of the things that I’ve concluded is… the broth is pretty tasteful. You can tell that it has been marinating in the pot overnight because you don’t have to put too much garnish in it. *My personal favorite is the chicken phở simply because it tastes very clean to me and doesn’t leave me feeling heavy. I love the beef and pork here, but too much protein slows down my body.* Café Sua Da(Vietnamese iced coffee with condensed milk) — not too shabby here but then again I’m very biased. I love coffee. Vermicelli and egg rolls special — the fish sauce is nothing special to me and the same idea goes for the egg rolls. They are crispy, but not very flavorful. Spring rolls — too much veggies and not enough shrimp or pork. Pricing — run around $ 8 – 10 a bowl To be quite frank, you can find other phở places since HTX is infested with them. One of the only reasons why I come here from time to time is because it’s convenient location wise.

Food was surprisingly good. Had the com thit nuong and bun thit nuong. Both came out to be about $ 16 something which is how much it regularly at other places. The eggroll however isnt good and service was meh

Definitely not the best phở, at all. The broth is a major EH. I say this, yet I’ve been to this place so many times. I guess I continued to go because it was decent enough and it was closer to the area I lived in. The price is also OK. I think the non phở items on the menu are the other reason why I had continued to eat there. I usually get a vermicelli bowl, which is usually way better than the phở IMHO. I also like the wonton soup, which my husband swears tastes and smells like toilet water. But I actually think it’s OK. He really likes the beef stew type dish with the french bread. The service from the young male waiters is good and they’re very friendly. However the older woman who seems to run the place has gone out of her way to be unfriendly to us whenever we come in. Not sure if it’s because I speak a very small amount of Vietnamese to some of the waiters or what, but she definitely has a bad attitude that makes me feel uncomfortable. I am pretty sure I won’t be going back to this place anymore. I’m set on finding a new Vietnamese food place for when we are in the area. I’m not really big on being treated badly while being a polite paying customer at a restaurant. Also, I don’t like how many chemicals they spray when they clean tables. The chemicals go all over. Even with all of the chemicals they spray all over, I question the cleanliness of this place for sure. I don’t recommend this place unless you have no other choices. But I think there must be way better places nearby. I just never got around to trying too many others out, my fault.

The interior of this place is spacious. The waiter was quick with seating us at a table. The menu had a wide selection of different items from phở, pad thai, rice platters, appetizers, and etc. I thought the Pad Thai was a bit random on the menu, since this place is known for phở. I ordered the #22(phở with well done lean meat) and it was A-OK. Not the best phở but it was decent. I really liked how the broth wasn’t oily. I would say I enjoyed the broth but the meat was overcooked. It was tough. Yes, well done meats tend to be dry and hard to chew. Other phở places I’ve been to the meat wasn’t tough. It should be well done and not so tough to chew. Felt like they had the meat cooked and out for a while. Overall, experience was 3⁄5. I would give this place another try.

While its not the best phở ever, I think this place has good phở. I’d rather not over analyze the phở, its good and thats all you need to know. The cost makes my wallet happy, the service makes me happy, and the close proximity to home makes my car happy LOL I usually order #15: Phở Tai Bo Vien which I don’t want to translate, just get it, trust me. Its my favorite wherever I go. My friend had an order of egg rolls(they come in pairs of 2) which looked yummy, but we expected more egg rolls considering the cost. I’m not sure if it were the owners that I spoke to, but they were really friendly. A nice spot to visit and have quick meal with friends and family.
