I’ve lived in the neighborhood most of my life, a large portion being my late teens and twenties, so I’ve had MANY pizza delivery experiences in the area. Late Night Pie and Star had awesome pizza back in the day –but took too long; Dominos has always just been meh overall; my Pizza Hut experiences have been pretty bad; and now Pinks is around –people either love it or hate it, service can be meh. This Papa Johns however has given me pretty solid service over time and has been especially on point in the last few months. I should also note Papa Johns is not my favorite pizza flavor wise, but these guys are on point(just don’t order delivery at noon on game day and expect to have it in 35 minutes, but that’s true of any place).

Mothers and grandmothers, avoid this PapaJohn’s location next to Kroger’s on 11th. Here’s why: We ordered online for delivery at noon on Sunday. Pizza never came. At 1 p.m., I had the person who placed the order for delivery check to see what the problem was. She called, and was told they hadn’t received the order. So I went over to pick up the new order(two hungry boys were waiting) and they told me they hadn’t received any order from someone with our name. I asked them to doublecheck, and they said the only order they’d received from my apartment complex was for someone else. So I left, and bought the kids McDonald’s. Meanwhile, my friend who’d placed the credit card order called PaPaJohn’s. They informed her that when I came in, I hadn’t given them her name. Also, they refused to refund the credit card. So once again, I drove over with two kids in the car. I asked to speak to the manager. Three of PapaJohn’s disheveled finest stared at me opaquely. None stepped forward. Their excuse this time? I didn’t say the original order was for delivery when I came in the first time. I demanded a refund and told them I was going to write a blistering review on Unilocal AND find their manager on Monday.(BTW his name is on the receipt, it’s Pedro Leija in case you are reading this, PapaJohn management). On my way out the door, I heard them chirrup blithely, «Have a good day.»

It’s papa johns… When we don’t feel like paying for Pinks, we pick up from this location. It’s good, nothing special. Currently waiting for a large pepperoni — they said 15 minutes. I always thought this location had pizza ready to go. Guess not! That’s okay, at least it’s fresh :)

Just got called a «DUMBA** and was threatened by one of their drivers on the phone, because my app had the wrong address! I was 3 streets over and he would not bring it to my home because I had WASTEDHISTIME! Then the MOD wouldn’t even comp the food to rectify the situation. I’m lodging a formal corporate complaint. I want the driver fired!!!

Papa Johns is my favorite main stream pizza, and this place seems to do a good job. I usually carry out. The overall quality of mainstream pizza will satisfy when you’ve got an urge for pizza, but overall is average. Four stars it is.

Delivery service is Horrible. The driver got lost, called me directly and I tried giving the driver directions to get back to me. It can be difficult getting here but the driver had an attitude and drive off. This is why i order Pizza Hut.

We had a pizza, cheesy bread, and wings. They were all delicious as expected. We did a pickup. They completed the order quickly and it was ready for us to pick up. No complaints. I will order from them again.

Ordered a thin crust pepperoni and jalapenos pizza. Received a pepperoni pizza. I called and was left on hold for 15 minutes. Just save yourself time and disappointment and don’t order from this location ever.

I have been to this place 3 times. After the 1st burnt bottom crust I asked them to NOTBURNMYCRUST and my crust was still burnt every time. I just can’t imagine how they are burning the bottom crust when the top Crust is Not burnt. They Must be using burnt pans or the ovens are working INCORRECTLY. Whatever the problem is with burning the pizza crust the Owner Needs to address &CORRECT!

The pizza was fine, but the delivery service was sub-par. First, it took over an hour to deliver the pizza to us. Second, I noticed that they overcharged $ 6.00 when I reviewed our credit card bill. I called their manager and he assured me they would credit the funds back. He said it was an «accident». YEAHRIGHT. Probably some punk tipping himself an extra $ 6.00 thinking that the customer wouldn’t notice. After a week of waiting, they never credited it back to me. In the end, I filed a dispute with my credit card company. Yes, it’s only $ 6.00, but I’m not happy based on principle. The integrity of the employees working there is questionable.

Been a customer for 4 years. I have noticed over the last 9 months or so, the quality has decreased. We used to eat all of the pizza that night, and over time we have moved to saving some for the next day to finally throwing part of it out. We have moved on to brothers pizza and papa Murphy’s

This Papa John’s might have saved my life. Literally. I had ordered a pizza around 3:30 in the afternoon, on a day they offer half-priced pizza because the Texans had won the night before. The driver called me to let me know she was at the gate and so I went to go meet her downstairs. Right when I opened my front door there was a man standing there with a metal wrench in his hand in a position that looked like he was about to smash in my door. Horrified I slammed the door and locked in so he was unable to come inside. While this is going on the poor delivery driver is still wanting on me downstairs. In a total panic I called the store and told the man on the phone what was going on-I had almost been robbed! He told me not to worry and I apologized because there was no way I was going to be able to leave my apt to get the pizza downstairs. About 5 minutes later I get a call from Papa Johns from the GM, informing me that he heard about what was happening and was downstairs with my pizza. He told me not to worry that the man who tried to rob me was gone and he had scoped out the complex. I ended up finding enough courage to leave my apt to be greeted by one of the most kind people I have ever encountered. Not only did he give me my pizza for free but he let me know he was going to drive around the neighborhood and make sure the robber/creepy guy was gone. WOW! Thank you Papa John’s, best service ever!

WORSTEVER! Not only did they deliver me the totally wrong pizza but when I called back they accused me of lying and trying to scam a free pizza out of them. I asked to speak to the manager, this person claimed to be and then hung up on me. I have never been treated like this from any establishment. I called the corporate offices and 2 weeks later still have not even received an apology! I am shocked. If this is how they treat their guest you can imagine their standards for quality for their food and cleanliness of business. I am telling everyone I know SCREWPAPAJOHNS!! i

Papa John’s Pizza is Papa John’s Pizza – I love it, others don’t, and that’s how it is. Its a chain so you likely have an impression of it already. I had the best experience today with the sweetest delivery lady. Lets be honest, a lot of times, delivery drivers are so creepy you’re a little nervous that they know your address. Miss Rosa was the dearest person – as happy as we were for our pizza getting there, she was just more grateful and sweet that we were giving her business. Such a breath of fresh air, especially in this city!

Will NEVER order pizza from here again! Placed an order for a larger pizza online Friday night. Received a confirmation number and email that the pizza order was received by the restaurant. An HOUR later no pizza… I called and asked about the order and was told they never received the order. My hubby thought this was BS so called back and who ever answered the phone indicated the pizza left the store 30 minutes ago and it would be another 20 minutes before it got to us… at this point my husband asked to talk to the manager… the manager Charles proceeded to tell us that there was never an order placed for our address(even though someone else told us the pizza was on it’s way to us.) Charles finally figured it out and assured us that our pizza would be hot and fresh when it arrived after sitting in a car for FIFTY plus minutes! Needless to say it arrived, ice cold, soggy and just nasty. We called back up to inform Charles that the pizza was indeed cold. He couldn’t figure out why this would be… pizza would be cold after fifty minutes? Charles did offer to cook me another one himself, which I could come pick up… but I have seen too many Youtube videos of customers who complain and what happens to their food… so I decided not to take the chance… I asked for my credit card no to be charged and he said okay… to my not so much surprise the charge was not canceled. BOOOOO!

I’ve picked up a few times from here. No deliveries because I live too far, but I’m thinking that’s a good thing after reading the reviews. The only trouble I’ve really had is that the cashiers… sometimes act kind of slow-like in their movements and thinking. They’ve always been friendly, though. This place is just ok for me.

Awful service. I called for delivery and the guy took my info and everything and when he was done he told me it would be at 45min to an hour! How long does it really take to bake a pizza. Well, since I was pretty hungry and they already took all my info I went ahead and agreed. Fast forward 30 min later… I get a phone call from the pizza place. Oh yeah… by the way, we don’t deliver to your place. WTF?!? Why did that not get mentioned when I placed that order, or even anytime from the order to 30 min later. What took so long? They did not even seem to care really. Oh and not to mention this place is about a 7 – 8 min drive from my place.
