Horrible delivery. Pizza was ice cold, rubbery, greasy and had no flavor. We live so close there’s no excuse for how cold everything was. Chicken parm was so over priced. Extremely thin piece of chicken. Probably a 4 oz piece pounded thin. Breading was mushy and then there was just a little Cheese on top. I finished it in about 4 bites. Small portion of pasta to go with it. I was hungry when I was done. For almost $ 20 for this dish it was not worth it. Called up to talk to them about the cold pizza and they did offer to send another one but after waiting almost 90 min for our delivery we couldn’t wait any longer to eat. But we thought they needed to know how awful the product the sent was.

We ordered from Palazzo’s for our office lunch — 11 separate lunches, most with some type of special request, and not only did they have the order ready on time, it was correct with nothing missing(and included extra salad dressing!) and was delicious. Most often when ordering for large groups, items are missed or incorrect, etc. It was just a really nice treat. Thank you Palazzo’s Westchase!

Came here for lunch today and had my favorite dish — lasagna. The sauce is good but the lasagna is not warm like what I expected and like. The plate is actually warmer than the lasagna. Hopefully I will be served warm lasagna on my next visit.

I really like this place. I have been coming for lunch several times in the past 3 years. Service has always been very attentive and the food very consistent. Normally their specials are very good, it often includes a fish dish which I really enjoy. However, my very favorite is the veal ragu with pappardelle. That dish made me fall in love with this place. It makes me feel like in an authentic Italian trattoria, the flavors are very bold and rich. I have also tried the southwest lasagna and the chopped salad, and they are good, but nothing compares to the veal ragu. Their lunch entrées are very reasonably priced and also come with a house salad with a light and homemade vinaigrette, which is very good. Also, before I forget, the house bread and olive oil are great! Another big plus for me is that this place has gluten free alternatives. My wife is gluten intolerant and their GF pizzas ate very good. This place is a great kept secret in the Westchase area, definitely worth trying it.

I eat here far more often than I should admit. Italian is one of my favs and so is the food here. Great wait staff too. My favorite dishes include the Scrimp Scampi, Chicken Marsala and the Insalda Fresca with chicken. Yes I said a salad. I’m ashamed of me too. Trust me though it’s fantastic!

+ 1. Almost everything tasted so good. 2. Reasonable price 3. Very nice and pleasant atmosphere - 1. Used to be better.(Last night, mussels in butter wine sauce tasted too sour to me. Meatball tasted so… well…how do I put this…‘SpaghettiO’y, dry and almost stale. Other dish were very good 2. I don’t know why they don’t bring olive oil chive vinaigrette dip until you ask. 3. Outdated menu?

I got takeout from Palazzo’s last night and I was really sad to only see a couple people sitting inside on a Saturday night. I hope that their business is doing well with delivery and takeout because this business is truly consistent with its food. I grew up ordering the same Penne Stefano from Palazzo’s and it tasted the exact same last night as it did 8 years ago. It is delicious and consistent! The chicken piccata is also so good. I would definitely recommend this for a night in.

The staff here is awesome! We love this place. The bread is crazy good(don’t start, trust me!). The food is pretty good, too. My favorite thing about this place is the ambience. It’s cozy and the staff makes you feel like family. I hesitate giving it 5 stars as I’d like this to remain our little secret, but they deserve it.

I love Palazzo for lunch! Unfortunately they don’t allow substitution of soup for salad without paying full price for the soup. I would probably take my team from work there more often, but I’m not a salad eater and I feel like I’m not getting as much for my lunchtime dollars.

I adore this restaurant. We’ve been going… 8ish years, since we moved to the area. My husband used to work across the street in the short office tower, and now I work in one of the tall ones walking distance. I try to eat here ASMUCHAS I CAN. I just love it — eating in, food to go, catering. It’s delicious, 80% of the time I have EXCELLENT customer service, it’s never been too busy to find a seat, and they’ll accommodate a crazy pregnant woman’s special requests :) Soup & salad makes for a great work lunch — and it’s never so loud we can’t hear. Give it a try(just please don’t overcrowd!).

Compliments to the chef, managers and entire team at Palazzos! At closing on April 17th, I contacted Lori frantically seeking a new location for my parents surprise wedding anniversary celebration on April 18th due to inclement weather. Her professionalism and quick response set the tone for a great event but also a long standing relationship! She immediately confirmed the reservation, established a menu and assured me that all would be well! By10am next morning, I spoke with Donald(I believe was the chef as well) who confirmed everything again! This was exceptionally comforting as I had 60 guests to accommodate and I had not visited nor heard of this restaurant! Upon arriving at the location, I was greeted by both Lori and Donald. The servers were readily available to assist with the setup and had preprinted menus on the tables. Once guest arrived, the servers were prompt and courteous. Special arrangements for my vegetarian guest and little people were made on the spot! The private room was tastefully decorated and served as a great compliment to our shades of coral theme. The food was awesome! We had a diverse choice of entrees(beef lasagna, pasta palazzo, and pollo jj) all for a decent price. Each meal was beautifully plated and portions so large that guest took plenty home! I personally tried the Pasta Palazzo and Beef Lasagna and it was divine! The Pasta Palazzo had a rich Chardonnay sauce the brought out the flavors of the artichokes sundries tomatoes and spinach. Home cooking on a higher level! The lasagna was great because the ricotta was evenly dispersed and there lots of sauce and the beef was seasoned well! Overall, my family and I were impressed with the quality of service. Great establishment and we look forward to hosting many events in the future!

Been to Palazzo’s multiple times and the menu items are hit or miss. Ordered the Pasta Palazzo this evening and immediately regretted it when my meal came with more sauce than pasta/chicken. My husband’s Chicken Parmesan was excellent though. I usually get the Southwest Chicken Lasagna and it is absolutely incredible. Wishing I had that in front of me right now! Other than that, great atmosphere and good food. We will be back but no more Pasta Palazzo for me!

I had a very disappointing experience here. I didn’t pick this place but was going here for a business meeting. I hoped they would be able to put together a vegan dish but if they could not it would have been ok if they said no. Just tell me the truth. I was still going to attend the lunch meeting. Two different servers assured me they could bring me a vegetable plate that would be vegan, no problem. Unfortunately, this was untrue. My first bite of a vegetable and I tasted butter smothered all over it. So two problems here: They did not listen to me, and they lied. I am a strict vegan for health reasons and I do not appreciate this one bit. All they had to do was tell me the truth. Another guy came over to the table after I asked the server to take my plate away, and asked if I would like him to make a vegetable plate without butter. REALLY!!! So you COULDHAVE done it the way I asked, you just chose not to? The attitude displayed was one of nonchalance. If I did that in my job I’d be fired! So I am unhappy with both their food and service but the service was the killer. Even if you do not have any dietary restrictions, don’t expect them to listen or care about your order. For this reason, I cannot recommend this place. That butter taste lingered on my tongue a long time. Gross!

Considering the fact that the place is very expensive my perspective towards the food was definitely not good at all! I felt the food had no flavor what so ever, the chicken was not cocked well it made me sick! And finally they took for ever to deliver! Thank you very much.

This is our second time to come here with a fair size group from work, both times 12 – 15 people in our group. The food is good however the problem is with the service. It takes too long to get a table setup when we arrive at 11 for lunch and there are very few other people there. They get the order in a timely manner but then we see other tables come in order and get their food before anything comes. Finally we usually get some of our food, but they have messed up or missed orders both times and they had to wait for it to be made. Then the real problem is getting our ticket and paying, they have to clear the entire table first before splitting tickets(we asked at beginning of meal that they would be split, no problem), it takes about 20 minutes to get the ticket brought to the table, about half the tickets are wrong and need adjustment, another 15 minutes. Then finally take the payment from everyone and another 20+ minutes before our cards are returned. That adds close to an hour to the end of the meal for a work day lunch!!! p. s. the breadsticks are pretty good though.

Delicious! The food is amaze balls & the staff are all super friendly. My husband & I came in fairly early in the evening with our 1 year old in order to avoid a crowd. At some restaurants, they make you feel like a pariah for bringing in a child(even though you are coming in to eat on a Wednesday at 5pm) but palazzos welcomed us. Our waiter, Hendricks(sp?) was very friendly, attentive & knowledgeable about the menu. We had a lovely time & hope to return soon!

Came here for lunch with some coworkers and was pleasantly surprised at how good everything was. From the time you enter the door, the smell of warm bread, basil, and garlic greet you and your stomach is ready to get some delicious food. We were promptly seated by a friendly hostess and our waiter arrived to take drink orders in less than a minute– talk about service! They serve warm, flat bread sticks at the table, which are some of the most delicious bread that I’ve ever had the privilege to eat. Good luck trying to avoid them, because they were warm, soft, and topped with what tasted to be parmesan cheese. Honestly, I would come back just to get the bread sticks! The bread is served with a dipping sauce of olive oil and balsamic vinegar, which was really good as well. There’s a special lunch menu, with lunch portions and prices, but I opted for a personal size(8″) Athena pizza, which came with pepperoni, red onion, tomatoes, Greek olives, and feta cheese. I was worried that an 8″ pizza wouldn’t be big enough for me, so I also got a cup of the tomato basil soup. The soup came out right away, and was much larger than I expected! Their cup size is what some places would consider a bowl, which was a nice surprise. The pizza itself would have been plenty big, though, and I ended up taking several slices home. But OHMAN, was it delicious. Hot, melted cheese and roasted tomatoes and onions on a delicious crust, it was one of the best pizza’s that I’ve had here in Houston. If you’re ever in the area and looking for a decent Italian place with great service, I would highly recommend stopping by Palazzo’s Trattoria. I know that I’ll be back again soon!

Came here on a weekday and it was packed. One thing to note is that the layout is just weird but did not detract from the experience. Onto the review about the food! The complimentary bread is a flatbread with some doughy goodness in it. This can get dangerous so watch out! I ordered a pasta with marinara and italian sausage and it was good. It was a well balanced dish overall. The portion sizes here are generous as well. I’ll be coming back soon to try more of the dishes!
