Decent Americanized Chinese food. My friend and I really enjoy Mongolian Beef dish but TBH, you are better off buying Mongolian lamb from Yao Mings Bar and Restaurant. The bonus here is that if you do order from PF Chang’s a lot, please do consider joining their membership program so that you can accumulate points and get a free entrée eventually.

We enjoyed our meal today at PF Changs… the waitress was excellent(I think her name was Thai) Food came out fast and hot… we had the 4 course meal… fixed price around $ 40… Egg drop soup was decent… Vegetarian lettuce wraps excellent… my orange peel chicken was great but my husband said his orange peel beef was too salty and just mediocre… the 2 chocolate wontons were a nice finish to the meal. Will be back…

I always have a good experience at PF Chang’s and this time was no different. Our waiter was short dark and handsome he took our drink order Organic agave margaritas yeahhhh! It’s a celebrations! We have so much to be thankful for we are healthy and we have great careers. We like to surround ourselves with good energy which is why we frequent PF Chang’s they have great food and Awesome customer service. We are vegetarians and they have several tasty options to choose from tonight we are starting with the veg lettuce wrap and for our entrees we are having the Buddha’s Fest and the egg plant. And as always everything was delicious

WHATTHEHECKISWITHTHISPLACE? The only reason why I came here was because of a gift card I received, and I never plan on returning. The food is not even decent Chinese food. I’d rather save about $ 30 and eat the same poor Chinese food at Panda Express. PF Chang’s is ridiculously expensive for the food quality and for the portions. Not only was the food bad, but the service was terrible. My waiter, Gary, made us feel rushed the entire time. To begin, he would not give us time to look upon the menu even though it was the FIRST time we had been there. I didn’t mind him trying to reccomend us dishes, but I did mind the fact that he would not leave our sight and made us feel uncomfortable for over three mins. Not to mention, he asked us if we were ready right after getting our drink orders. Secondly, he gave us the check about 15 mins into our meal and asked us if we were, «Ready to step out yet?» Seriously dude? I’m eating a $ 30 mediocre meal and I can’t even eat it in peace? He also came by and started taking up dishes while my boyfriend still had his bowl in hand and was eating. Gary almost took up the plate with 2 pieces of chicken left and said, «Oh…didn’t mean to rush you or anything.» What a joke of a «fancy» restaurant. I repeat, I will never return.

If I am in the mood for asian cuisine, I always prefer to go to PF over anywhere else. I know that the quality is excellent and the service is always top notch! Unfortunately, this time the quality of the food was not up to par with the quality of service. The service was excellent! My soda was always filled and the waitress was very nice. I ordered the Chicken Fried Rice and the Ginger Noodles. I asked for the waitress to make sure that there is no chili in the food and to ensure that the food is not at all spicy. As the Ginger Noodles were placed on my table, I could instantly see the chili flakes all throughout the dish. I requested another waitress to take it back as I specifically requested it to not be spicy. The waitress was very kind and took the dish back. She brought a new one back and it was cooked perfectly. Well, I then dug into my Chicken Fried Rice and discovered a piece of plastic embedded in the rice. I notified the manager that there was a piece of plastic in the food and she stated she would prefer to make me a new dish. Yes, the service was amazing, but the experience was less than stellar. They do have a Gluten Free Menu and a wide selection of drinks.

The waiter was sick, sneezing, and coughing all over his hands and touching things on my table. I was REALLY not ok with this but he seemed to be large and in charge. This was my first dining experience ever at a P.F. Chang’s and boy was it really un-inspiring. The chicken I ordered was supposedly the special, but left plenty of flower residue in my mouth as I ate each piece. I will stick to spending less in Chinatown down the street from now on or jump to a Panda Express instead.

The manager was extremely sweet and apologetic for the fact there was a HUGE roach in my sweet and sour soup. I almost ate it! I was just talking to my coworker and sipping my soup and happened to look down and seen the roach in my spoon. I threw up right away! $ 25 gift card for the troubles. Not worth it, I just rather they fix their pest problem. It’s a great restaurant and the staff are excellent but the pest. And at the bar I seen roaches crawl by the fridge. Disgusting. I think PF changs ONWESTHEIMER should be way better kept up with their pest problems. I know I won’t die eating a roach but that is absolutely unacceptable.

The four stars are for the food. The food was wonderful. The service was awful. The hostess did not speak at all. She did not smile even a little. Not welcoming at all. The waiter do smile a little, but we hardly ever saw him. Ordered Mongolian chicken, BBQ ribs, crab wontons, pork tacos(yes really), and spring rolls. The food was delivered by staff other than out waiter. We asked for extra plum sauce for the crab wontons. We received the extra sauce halfway through our dinner. Our waiter visited a couple of times refilling our beverages. The Mongolian chicken was OK. The pork tacos were great — watch out for the peppers! The pork tacos came on a stand. Under the stand was cabbage and other veggies. After we ate the delicious pork tacos, the plate was removed before we ate the veggies. The crab wontons are delicious. They now serve them IN the sauce. I prefer to dip them in the sauce. BBQ ribs were great. We never got the spring rolls. After the meal, the waiter offered to get them, but we were already leaving. Great food, poor service.

This place is hit or miss, idk if it is just this location or not. This is not a place you want to order take out from, you have better chances of decent food when dining in. But I guess that goes for a lot of places. I keep coming here because my son loves the lo-mein noodles and it is close to the house. When I order take out, my food is usually cold(and I get there 3 minutes before the time they give) and small proportions. They ALWAYS forget something. It’s never a smooth happy experience. I have even talked to management about it, no improvements. Eh… If you must have your pf fix go to the sugarland location, save yourself the frustration.

Pretty decent american style Chinese food. My suggestion is to try the fire cracker shrimp which is not officially on the menu. It’s an item U have to request

This place is consistently good. Although service may be a hit or a miss. Nevertheless we enjoy the food very much. My wife is gluten intolerant and we normally get the GF Chang’s spicy chicken and/or shrimp and the combo fried rice, they are always good! I’m also a big fan of the Mongolian beef. Besides the below par service(sometimes), it is always good!

My Review will be on the Order for Takeout experience. The time to wait at P.F. Changs is never a short period whenever I decide to go(mostly when traveling for work). Since I don’t like sitting alone for dinner at a table or at the bar, I usually do take out. This location is no different on the wait times. The parking lot was packed and it was a rather long walk from the place I finally found to park. The hostesses that take your name for the list were rather busy talking to one another when I interrupted them to ask where to place a takeout order. Sorry girls, I didnt mean to but into your totally important discussion to attempt to provide nourishment to myself. The bar though, was very nice. everyone asked me if I wanted to order, did I want a drink while I waited, etc. Unfortunately my order was a tad bit wrong when i got home and started unpacking things. I ordered kung pao chicken, and ended up with shrimp :-(but I guess maybe they were pre-making it up to me because they packed some chicken entrée in my take out that I did not order. So Four stars instead of the well earned 3 for giving me the extra entrée.

We’ve never had a bad experience at any of their locations. We were greeted immediately and sat right away. Our waiter took our drink orders which were two beers. All the other locations pour them into those tall beer glasses but he brought them out in the bottles. Kind of sucked, that’s the best part of ordering a beer at a nice restaurant. We got the Prix Fix for 2 deal which comes with two soups, appetizer, two entrees and a dessert. Everything was delicious. Our waiter didn’t box up my rice which I thought was weird but other than that everything was great.

With all the amazing Chinese places a couple miles away on Bellaire we never go to chain places like this. But we got a gift card for Christmas and decided to pop in for dinner. It was filling, a nice space with lovely plating and thankfully we got out cheap because I would never want to pay what we would have without the gift card. 1. They are very proud of their food. Seriously. $ 15 for Kung Pao Chicken? Nice chunks of chicken, lots of little peanuts and red peppers but they seem to forget the celery and the sauce was almost non existent. It was tasty but I have had better for half that price. 2. Nice to have a choice of brown rice. 3. The wife had BEEF Á LASICHUAN which had the veggies cut in long julienne strips that were clumsy to cut and even more clumsy to eat. She said the beef seemed to be more jerky than tender beef. I agree. So many places cook those little strips of beef to char. 4. C’mon…for these prices you still have paper wrapped, pop apart cheap wooden chopsticks? We had the regular edamame. It was very good. Steamed perfect. And we shared a little cup of their hot and sour soup. It was good. Your basic hot and sour soup. I’ll be honest with you, the service was annoying. The young man who waited on us mumbled most of the time. Neither of us were drinking anything from the bar and he tried to get us to buy a cocktail every time he came to the table. Each time I told him we were not interested in a cocktail tonight and each time he stood there asking us if we were sure. If you are into big chain, overpriced, Americanized, average Chinese food this is your place! If you want some authentic Chinese check out some Unilocal reviews of places over off Bellaire and live a little in this big city with big choices!

Curbside Take out– Can’t believe how bad this was. This was far and away the worst take out I have had for the price point. To start the food was lukewarm. When we placed the order they told us it would be read at 730. My wife arrived exactly at 730 and we live 1 mile away. When she got it home it was cold. You could tell that it had been sitting for a while, because the fried calamari were soft and had no crunch. All three of the entrees we ordered were terrible. The cashew chicken was bland and had a funny tinge to it as if the chicken was going bad. The Walnut shrimp was bland and and the melon included with this entrée tasted old. Half the meal ended up in the trash. Never again will I dine in or take out from this PF Changs.

Curbside… I’m in town visiting my Grandmother. I spent all day with her & have been eating out all week. I chose PF Changs tonight. It’s one of the few chain restaurants we enjoy because if their CONSISTENCY! First off the menu on Unilocal!does not reflect the Houston-Westhiemer location menu :-( I ordered that the Ahi tuna crisp which comes with avocado and they forgot the avocado :-( I also ordered the shrimp panfried dumplings with extra sauce. However, I received something that tasted like the grease scrapings from the bottom of a pan. Luckily, one of the two sauces was correct but of course wasn’t enough :-( But they did remember to charge me for my extra side of chopped cilantro to go in my all dumpling sauce that I didn’t get… lol :-)

Nothing like placing a pick up order, driving to the restaurant, waiting longer than you were told for the food to be brought out, getting home and opening cold food, heating it up in the microwave, getting halfway thru and then spitting out a piece of plastic. Hadn’t been there in a long time due to bad service. I guess I should have stayed away. You can bet I will now.
