The food is not bad for the price or compared to other Mexican sea food places on southwest. Service for the most part is good specially now they have plenty of bus boys. After 10p.m. really is just a latino karaōke bar and only for adults. Spanish is helpful but many speak English specially at the bar. The waitresses are mostly latinas and most are very pretty so feed the stomach and eyes:)

This Review is for the Seafood Cocktail. The ordered the small seafood cocktail here. The seafood cocktail is loaded with seafood but barely any room for the tomato juice. I have had better seafood cocktails. They used small, tiny shrimp with with 2 or 3 raw oyster and a ton of octopus. It was fresh and good tasting seafood served in a small glass. I still don’t know why restaurants like to use tiny cups for cocktails. You can put more tomato juice and fresh vegetables(like a celery stick) for a good cocktail with a larger cup, which saves money. I really can’t understand the concept. It was nothing like the seafood cocktail I have had in the west coast. It would have been better if they actually served it with clamato juice or cooked the oyster and saved the soup to add in the tomato juice.

Atmosphere: teal blue/aqua every where. Low budget but pretty new. 100% Hispanic crowd, heavily male. The male slant males me a bit uneasy of bringing my girl. But the times we’ve gone or slow hours so it’s not to bad. Service: my girlfriend felt like the hostess stared her down. The waitress was new, untrained, and a little forgetful.(tool are chips and never brought new ones. You need to know what you want. She was nice. Food: parillada all beef– was good, soy sauce based seasoning typical, the charro beans had huge chunks of ingredient. The flavor was bland. Lemonade– I love natural lemonade, amazingly it’s easy to mess up. Maybe it was bad lemons or the water but it was off. Price: fair $ 12 for the parillada and $ 9 for the oysters. Overall we will come again because it is close cheap and the food is good. Just be on your toes.
