New Addition Childcare Plus Learning Center No 3

First impressions are everything and I did not experience a great one when I went by to tour the facility today. I was already wanting to turn away because of the appearance and when I did go inside, I was treated as a stereotype. I let the front desk know that I was called to tour the facility since my son was on the wait list and that they now had more space. She gave me a look and continuously asked am I sure it was this facility and asks am I paying through NCI; mentioning that an NCI agent is who really contacted me because she is the only one that calls. Because I am a young African American mother (I look Hispanic), I am on government assistance? I even repeated the number for the front desk and she confirmed that it was the facility’s number before I left. We probably only received a call back since my son’s name does not sound like one of ethnicity and was surprised to see a young black mother walk in with her son named Albert. If this is how you treat prospects then I am concerned that you probably discriminate with the children as well because I was definitely treated inappropriately. Turned away and did not receive a tour

My son has been here for 3 weeks now and seems to be loving it. They are open really late which absolutely helps with my insane working schedule. They are very reasonably priced considering the flexible hours. The teachers all are very friendly and willing to pay close attention to any concerns. Every time I drop my son off, the children are doing a different activity. So far we’re very happy and can’t imagine taking him anywhere else.
