Natto had somehow gotten into our pretty locked-down apartment complex to deliver flyers to every apartment(sliding them through the door facing). So we gave them a try one weekend afternoon/early evening we didn’t feel like going out. I think it was one of the worst Chinese food experiences we’ve ever had. Hubby just proclaimed it «mediocre to the max.» Ordering on the phone was not that easy and I wasn’t sure the order would be correct, but I think it was pretty close. The first knock against them was they called to have us meet the driver in the apartment parking lot. Okay, wait. They can come door to door delivering flyers but they can’t actually deliver food to the apartment? Then they didn’t include any sauces(at all). This includes the sweet and sour sauce for the sweet and sour shrimp we ordered. And this«shrimp» needed something to help it. We wound up not eating most of it. We had some Beef on Sticks(skewers) and I think it must’ve been left on the spit most of the day. Way dry and not really edible. Didn’t even like the wonton soup. We’ll have to keep searching for good Oriental food in the area. I had thrown away the flyer because I wanted to make sure we didn’t order from them again. Anyway, they just delivered more flyers to our apartment and it reminded me I needed to leave a review to prevent others from making the same mistake.

I have driven by the Exxon gas station where this restaurant is located. Once I filled up on gas and checked out the interior and it looked ok. So then we got their delivery flyer in our mailbox today and thought we could give it a try after a long day. I have to say that this is the WORST Chinese we have ever had!!! Even Panda Express and Costco frozen Chinese is ten times better. Also we go to Chinatown for Chinese most of the time and I have lived in China so I know what is good Chinese food is like. I’m also ok with American style Chinese food but not this crap. ZEROSTARS! They should feel ashamed to serve crap to customers. The delivery for her freakishly fast so we thought wow that’s impossible. Then when we opened the food, and tried it, it has to be most bland and nasty tasting Chinese food ever. We order the Kung pao chicken and shredded Szechuan style beef! Yuck! The chicken doesn’t taste like chicken. And the beef looks GREY in color. There is no salt and no flavor to both the dishes. Now I have had lot of average or subpar food but this really takes the cake! I dare not think whether the chicken is really chicken or the beef is beef and not some CATMEAT or ROADKILL. We did the dinner special so it came with lo mein, egg rolls and hot and sour soup. All were yucky. The lo mein had to be the most soggy and depressing tasteless lo mein we have ever had. The hot and sour soup was very meh as well and doesn’t taste fresh. A Huge DISAPPOINTMENT. No wonder they can only operate from a gas station because all Chinese restaurants in Chinatown are Michelin 3 stars compared to this crap. They should not call themselves a Szechuan restaurant. Others who might eat here might think Szechuan food sucks and never eat it again thanks to these jerks. If you are considering to order from them. DON’T! Go and buy some from Randall’s and Costco that will be much better. I hope they get their act together or go out of business so someone legit can take their place!

Worst Chinese I’ve ever ordered. «Sweet & sour» sauce tastes like melted plastic. Ordered«Mongolian triple delight», protein tasted like rubber soaked in pepper water. I love Chinese takeout but this is the worst food I’ve ever had delivered. Ever!

Delivery was fast– That was the only good thing. The chicken did not taste like chicken and the beef was gray, I decided to throw it away without taking the chance to eat it. If my car was not being repaired I would have taken it back.

Good chinese food. It’s not exceptional, but for the price, you’re definitely getting your bang for the buck. I would highly recommend the classic Szechuan cuisine, or the Chef’s Specials. Disregard its location, this place serves some legitimate Chinese food. I’d even put it on par to some restaurants in Chinatown, like Tan-Tan. I ordered the«Happy Family», bamboo shoots with shredded pork, and spiced beef and vegetables. It was all delicious, just delicious. Opt out for the American Chinese food, such as orange/sweet and sour chicken as you may be disappointed. Delivery times are quick. Don’t expect quality service, but the food makes up for it. 4 stars!

We ordered 5 different lunch special today. Two of them were Chicken General Tso and the rest were different types. Two of the General Tso tasted horribly. The sauce tasted like sour vinegary flavor. My coworkers said their orders were bad too. We all ended up throwing away the food. We called the restaurant and spoke to a lady(she said she was the cashier). We requested a refund or resend another order. She said that she was not authorized to resend another food. But she can give us 10% discount on our next order. We told her that was not acceptable and we requested to speak with the manager or supervisor. We can hear her talking with someone on their language. We asked for her name and she wouldn’t give it. She said that the manager or supervisor will give us a call back. I will be surprise, if they call back. I WOULDNEVEREVERORDERFROMTHISPLACEAGAIN. This place smelled good, but the tempura shrimp was served after the meal and with tartar sauce(???). The so-called cashew chicken had NOCASHEWS and no rice. Tasted nasty. Will not go to this place again.

I say this with all the sincerity I possess: this was the crappiest Chinese food I’ve ever had and eating it brought my brother and I closer together. We had fun seeing just how bad each thing could be and were never dissapointed.

I work in EaDo — where food options are a little limited. We just discovered Natto and have now gotten delivery lunch from them twice. First — let me say that I have no idea what kind of jet pack helicopter race car rocket delivery vehicle they use, but they get here fast. Like super fast. It’s a little freaky. The food will be hot when you get it(maybe it sits on the rocket in the delivery car on the way over, I don’t know). I’ve read some of the other reviews, and I have to say the people who complain about the food are just being picky — or rating them on the wrong things(I’m talking about you lady who ordered chicken wings from a Chinese restaurant and complain that they aren’t great). The quality is what you would expect from a fast Chinese place — not 5 star cuisine but come on, you are ordering Chinese take away. It comes in plastic. The food is great. I’ve had the vegetable fried rice and the vegetable stir fry. My coworkers have had other dishes and there were no complaints. The menus online that we found were all wrong. They must have recently changed it. Be sure to call first to make sure you are looking at the right thing. I’ll try to post a picture of the menu.

Been coming here since I started working downtown again. I probably should bring a card saying that I’m here for the cheap lunch specials. $ 6.85 — $ 8.25 gets you entrée, soup, appetizer and rice. Guess I finally found the place where the cashier recognizes me and knows what I’ll order… I come for the same dish(L5 — Chicken with Asian eggplant). The rest of the lunch menu is American Chinese food, so don’t expect anything else. Portions are hearty, pretty much two servings of rice. Food comes out incredibly fast, though I’ve heard the distinct beeps of a microwave a few times while I’ve been there. The hot and sour soup is spicier than average, and the egg drop has been watered down once or twice, but it’s just soup. They don’t serve Sushi so don’t look for that. Service is always friendly. Tucked into a completely nondescript Exxon station, Natto stares straight at the Vietnamese giant that is Kim Son. Take your meal to go, then grab a coke from the c-store. It looks like the two were connected at some point, a pair of double doors join the two but they’ve since been taped up and closed. Not sure what the relationship of the two places are, but they’re nice to me so I don’t mind the short walk. Parking is kind of crummy, you park next to a smelly dumpster, or park closer to the gas pumps and find more spots. Sometimes panhandlers stand outside, but they’ve never bothered me. I’ll probably be back sooner then I expect and I’ll probably order the same exact thing, which is fine by me. I’ve never used the drive-thru, a tree leans into the roadway pretty much blocking access so I haven’t tried it. And they don’t have natto, the Japanese fermented soybean dish, which is also OK by me. #smelly

Fast delivery, I’ll give them that. That’s all I’ll give them. The egg drop soup was sour, like it was rotten and I had to throw it away. The egg roll was half empty, like maybe all the insides fell out when they fried it, and it had a very strange taste to it. Ordered the General Tso’s lunch special, chicken was chewy and hard, way too much of the sauce, wasn’t spicy at all, and the fried rice was so bland, no seasoning at all. We tried this place at work and it will be our last time, it was a resounding YUCK from all that ordered.

I was disappointed with the lo mein. It was super soggy. Never had soggy Lo mein. Even after 3 days in the fridge. Not sure how to make soggy lo mein. The orange chicken was ok.

Our first time experience was great! Fast delivery and good food. My boyfriend and I did the family dinner(12.95 each) and we got to choose a soup, rice, entrée, and we each got a egg roll and 2 wontons. I got the Mongolian beef and added broccoli, it was so flavorful! My boyfriend got the Orange chicken and it was also very good, not the bright orange chicken you normally see either. The egg rolls and wontons were delicious as well. The fried rice tasted more like buttery rice, but I just added on the soy sauce. It was my first time trying hot and sour soup, and I wasn’t a fan. Overall, the food was great and we have tons leftovers. We will definitely order from here again!

First time to order. Not impressed. I got the catfish and shrimp plate. Both arrived luke warm and limp. It took an hour which was okay. I will give them another chance if I am desperate.

It’s good. Really good. Appears to be a fast food joint tucked in to a gas station, but don’t be fooled. It’s yum.

Avoid. Ordered delivery order. Came lighting fast. Food is horrible. I throw it away. No one in the household can eat that. Hot and sour soup was basically some salty broth. The meal, jumbo shrimp. something was hard to look at it. This place is actually a gas station

Hmmmm… I am giving this place 3 stars because they delivered my food very quick; however, they probably deserve less… I ordered fried chicken wings and fried shrimp, as this was my cheat meal for the week(I just didn’t feel like leaving my sofa)… Anyway, the wings and the shrimp were fried in old grease! It was horrible… So, my cheat meal didn’t really happen, because I couldn’t eat either one… I guess I really didn’t need a cheat meal… :-/
