Stopped in here today on my way home. The girl working was extremely helpful and nice. I believe her name was Nema. She was knowledgeable and answered all of my questions and helped me decide which meals to get. Great customer service!

So upset I wasted $ 8 here today. I come here from time to time when I don’t bring anything for lunch to work. I always get the same thing: the turkey ground meat with rice and broccoli, which I love. I’m kicking myself in the ass today for wanting to be adventurous and try something new. I got the white bean chicken chili. It should have been named«barf» because that’s what it looks like. Way too watery and I couldn’t tell what was a bean or what was a piece if chicken. I could only tell what were the chives. Super disappointed. Only had one bite to taste and threw it away. Should of been my usual fat ass self and went to Starbucks across the street. That’s what I get for trying to be healthy.

I really enjoy the food — the convenience, the taste, the healthiness of it, etc. I have been a customer off and on for years and have my favorites that tend to stay somewhat consistent over time. The reason for the lower rating is that the meals don’t last until the sell by date. This is unfortunate because I usually buy a couple at a time since this is more convenient than going every day or so. I keep a close eye on the dates on each container. However, if you eat it on the day of sell by, or even the day before, the vegetables can be all slimy(for instance, the green beans in the cilantro lime turkey or the mushrooms, carrots and spinach in the ninja tenderloin). I don’t know what slimy vegetables means, but it sure doesn’t seem like a good thing. I try to get the meals from lower in the shelf so I can get the ones with sell by dates a little further out. Unfortunately, my wife stopped in to grab a couple meals and must have grabbed the ones off the top. When she got home, I noticed the dates were the next day, so I said we’d better eat them now. Even though we should have had at least a day to finish them off, the vegetables were all slimy already. My wife was scared to eat any of it so she threw her entire meal in the trash. I ate about half of mine(except for any veggies) and threw the rest out because it didn’t smell quite right. This problem turns the whole thing into a waste of time and money since we don’t really get anything out of stopping by and purchasing the products. I’d love to give 5 stars, but because I have experienced this so many times, I just cannot.

Much like if you were trying different items on a restaurant menu, some you’ll like, others less so. The convenience is nice, and while not inexpensive, it’s certainly not outrageously priced. The«Oat Bake» breakfast meal is wonderful, as is «Beef it Up.» «Fit Nugget Nation» is horrible. Dry chicken nuggets that don’t particularly taste like chicken. The cauliflower/hominy mash is salty to the point of inedible. If there is one constant, I would say the food tastes overly salty and this is not surprising. The sodium levels are fairly high.(Many dinner entrees in the medium size contain over 1000 mg.) That may be fine for an athlete who sweats out a ton of salt, but for someone trying to reduce sodium, their food’s sodium levels are just too high. Snap Kitchen’s food is much lower in sodium without tasting bland.

OMG! I got sooo sick after eating this food! I learned my lesson I will check city health records for food safety violations before I ever eat these type of places again!

It was my first time going to my fit foods and the employee that helped me was Hammad. He was extremely helpful and had such a positive attitude. I needed suggestions and he was quick to tell me the top favorites and his personal choices. I ended up choosing the turkey with rice for lunch and chicken with veggies for dinner. I really enjoyed the turkey, very flavorful with a spicy kick. The chicken was tasty too but it’s your typical standard chicken and veggies. Vanessa was also working there and their service was fantastic. I rate 4 stars for my first experience and will come back to try other flavors to rate a holistic experience here.

I love My Fit Foods! I am always looking for health-conscious options, so this place is a mainstay for me on lunch breaks. They boast perfect portion sizes, detailed nutrition facts, and a flavorful mix of meal options. Beyond that, the staff is always helpful — let them help you pick out a meal! This specific location always has a fun atmosphere and a courteous, knowledgeable staff. And for that, I thank you!

Being a former customer some years ago of the Meyerland location, I decided to stop in Friday morning to checkout the breakfast options. I was immediately greeted by Hammad before I even made it to the door. Hammad was very talkative and friendly; I definitely enjoyed chatting with him. I decided to try out the Mix ‘n’ Mash which has scrambled eggs, chicken breast, rice and peppers; this was really great. I get bored with breakfast quickly so this was a delightful change. I also picked up Cynthia’s BBQ chicken which had mashed potatoes & fantastic green beans; I couldn’t finish it all(it was a small), but it was very good. I decided to get some extras to bring home to have Chris try them out as well. This morning he had The Americano which had eggs, red mashed potatoes & tenderloin. He said it was ok because it lacked salt for his taste(I’m sure it was great, but Chris loves his salt, lol). I had the H-Town Breakfast which is scrambled eggs, chicken apple sausage links & rosemary new potatoes. I really liked this alot as well; I may not have finished the eggs, but it was too much food for me too. I had Chris try the Chicken Parmesan, and he liked it alot! I never even heard a peep out of him while he was eating, lol(he made a happy plate!) I had the Turkey Pasta; and sad to say, I am not a fan. It was EXTREMELY overbearing garlic flavor; don’t get me wrong, I love garlic but this particular dish tasted like tons of raw garlic. We had the Picnic Time snacks which were superb! It has Nut Thins, Monterrey Jack Cheese cubes, red grapes, apples, dried cranberries and almonds. It is the perfect blend of fruit and protein. Some of my fave foods from here are: Snacks — Chicken Fruit Bowl, Fit to Go, Skip Jack Tuna and now Picnic Time Breakfast — Go Granola, Oat Bake, Americano, and now Mix ‘n’ Mash Lunch — Almond Crusted Chicken, Tenderloin Stir Fry, Salmon Stir Fry, Hawaiian Chicken, Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo Dinner — Besto Pesto Chicken, Chicken Berry Salad, Brady’s Cobb Salad, Ninja Tenderloin, Pear Salmon & Beef Fit Up This evening to stopped by to pick up a few more goodies and was assisted by Christoper; I walked in but noone was around at all. Once I came in, removed my sunglasses, Christopher emerged from the back. I went about my business looking through all the items and picking things out, and Christopher offered to take them for me. Once I made my selections and paid, he immediately took my bags directly to my car! How cool is that? I thought this was cool because the sackers at the grocery store don’t even do that for you anymore even if you have like 100 bags, lol. I’m very pleased with this location and look forward to meeting up with Hammad and Christopher both again in the near future.

I tried MFF for first time today. I got one of those free coupons so I walked in to grab a lunch. I was looking through the glass case and suddenly I was bumrushed with«let me tell you about MFF blah blah blah blah blah». Um no, I don’t think so! So after an awkward exchange I grab a turkey spaghetti meal and head back to my office… holy cow…10g of FAT!!! Obviously, sub-par US Foods turkey meat is used in their dishes not the WHITE98% fat free turkey meat I’m use to. Also the brown spaghetti was like wet noodles. Of course I had to nuke the food as well, so all in all, I think this place has a purpose, just not for me.

This is my simple review. Overall, they have a good system for you to lose weight and learn how to ear healthy. 1. Food is generally good. So this means that you can continue. 2. You will have to jump start, if you want to really get going. You can cheat easily at any meals or any snacks. 3. Beef items(steak) does not taste good. They can do a better job. 4. They provide you with supplements but I think that is totally up to you. 5. For busy people to eat healthy, I will give them high rate. 6. The staff is generally friendly. And I did not had a particular issue. 7. They will send you e-mail to follow your progress and answer your questions for three day or 21 day program. Very helpful. 8. There snacks a very good. So, what do I say to you, give a try, you may like it.

Recently, I’ve been trying to keep my kitchen clean since I’m selling it so not cooking. Well that leaves me with eating out a bunch or ordering fast food or the option of purchasing pre-compiled meals via My Fit Foods. The meals are pretty tasty and decently priced. I can get a few days at a time so it helps with time wasted on cooking. One of my favs recently has been the egg whites, with turkey sausage and sweet potatoes.

I have just completed my first week of MFF and every. single. item was absolutely fabulous! I bought 5 different meals to take for lunch this past week and everything tasted great! I didn’t have to add any condiments or salt & pepper AND they kept me full and helped to stabilize my blood sugar. I have just ordered next week’s lunches online and am looking forward to trying more of their meals.

My Fit Foods is what I usually don’t want to eat on a daily basis. I have a junk food gene and this place just does not cater to it! After having bought the Groupon deal last fall I finally got around to actually attempting to have a healthy diet for approximately 2.5 days. Because that’s the amount of meals my $ 40 deal let me purchase — 2 lunches, 2 dinners, and 3 breakfasts/snacks. Now be forewarned, if you are using a Groupon/coupon the staff will notice you less when you come into the store and help others before they get to you. After trying to figure out what the heck to do, I finally just started opening the cooler doors repeatedly reading the meals and then putting them back before someone explained the process to me. After making my selections the chick rang up my total and being as I went over my total slightly she then informed me I could only pay in cash… ummm, its 2010!!! Anyhoo after all the purchasing mumbo-jumbo I actually took the food home and gave it a go. The taste is not anything fantastic and in my opinion everything had way too much pepper in it… so much you couldn’t even taste any other foods after you ate a My Fit Foods meal. But maybe that’s how you stay fit… you burn off all your taste buds and then you can tolerate their meals more often!

Know what you want before you go here… or peruse at your leisure, but certainly don’t rely on the«assistance» of the employees. It seems to be uneven. Some were really helpful, but the girl that helped me, had a bit too much youthful apathy. Perhaps I’ll just bypass this location and head to the Memorial Park locale next time. I also wouldn’t have to deal with turning onto and off of Shepherd.(Crazy car situation.) I walked in, my first visit to My Fit Foods, and started looking at the entrees. Nothing was marked well and I couldn’t find a list of what was available. Instead, it was go to the coolers with all of the black to go containers and read little labels. Then, pick up said containers to see what the item looked like. The apathy girl watched me do this for quite some time. Watched. I found one item with edible fish, everything else was made with feeder fish(Tilapia). I asked the girl looking at me if they had any other fish dishes, and she asked the helpful question, «Oh, you don’t like fish?» Sigh, regroup. Gretchen: «You only have this salmon dish and Tilapia?» Apathy Incarnate: «I think so.» Gretchen:(Do I dare ask? Do I need to lead her down the customer service path? I didn’t, and simply asked) «Is this good?»(I know, stupid question.) Apathy Incarnate: «I like it.» Gretchen:(Great! Can apathy really like anything?) We move to the registers, weird, but I’m just ready to get out of there. Gretchen: «I have a coupon for a free item.» Apathy Incarnate:(faint eye roll) The salmon with pear salsa(not listed on any menu) was great, but the labeling on the side didn’t offer any information. Nothing regarding sodium, carbs, sugars, fats, ingredients. Fine, I suppose as most places don’t give you their nutritional data, but these are essentially boxed meals. There weren’t even serving sizes listed. The patties that I got, strawberry and cranberry, were great, but again, the label on the side gave no indication of serving size. Most of the data was on there, but the carbs were all wrong, and led to a bad insulin reaction. Cons: uneven customer service, weird layout, scattered labeling, abundance of tilapia, and overabundance of chicken. Pros: food tastes great, you get to keep the great little to go containers, and the regulars seemed to really like the place/know how to navigate properly.

My Fit Foods is pretty cool. I first sampled some at a Unilocal Event, the lemon turkey, which I think is by far the best thing on their menu. I couldn’t believe how good it was and that it was healthy also. Well, it turns out it isn’t as appetizing when you are facing a pound of spicy lemon turkey and rice instead of a small sample. It is what it is: if you eat fast food and high sodium, artificially flavored foods constantly, My Fit Foods is going to be bland, dry, and just not that flavorful. It comes with the territory of being super healthy. They have a huge menu and various selections. I had their Houston Breakfast(turkey bacon, egg whites, potatoes), Green Chicken(awful, I don’t even know what I was eating, bead-like carbs), Lemon Turkey(best tasting but dry when you try to eat a bowl), and Hawaiian Chicken(plain chicken with two mandarin orange slices and four cubed pineapples). I just can’t eat healthy. I’ll worry about it when I’m old. The people at My Fit Foods, the Shepherd location, are super nice and super helpful. I can’t say that enough. However, because the food doesn’t taste all that great, as in, you know you are eating healthy food, and the prices are somewhat high for what you get, it is only A-OK for me.

I tried this place after using the Group-On deal(pay $ 15 to get $ 40 in food). We tried the chicken Alfredo — it looked delicious, but after trying it… it was quite bland. It was more of a gravy sauce than a creamy sauce. I had to add Parmesan to give it flavor — which probably did not make it quite as healthy. I also had the ‘mac ‘n cheese.’ It was shell pasta and ground turkey with literally five thin shavings of cheese. It was pretty salty, and greasy, so I’m not sure how healthy that really was. I think they have to use lots of sodium to give their food flavor. It’s also quite pricey if you don’t have a coupon.

I first had My Fit Foods when my ol’ boss was on a brief health kick. Soon, most of the people in the office were hooked. As Crystal L put it, you can order your grub the day before(check out the online menu) or stop by the shop and see what’s available. My favorites are the breakfast tacos, roasted veggies and salmon, Waldorf salad and the lemon turkey with rice. Prices are reasonable considering — hello! — you don’t have to cook, the food is fresh and nutritious. Everyone knows it’s not cheap eating healthy, but My Fit Foods’ pricing is right there with your every day fast food joint — sans the fat ass. The food comes in sturdy, reusable plastic containers, which for me is a GREAT thing because I’m a Tupperware nut. Literally, I love shopping for it, organizing my collection and matching tops with bottoms … The website itself deserves five stars. There you can order grub, check out nutrition labels on each dish and snacks, read up on the staff and subscribe to owner Mario Mendias’ weekly newsletter with workout and dieting tips and tricks. All in all, it’s a New Year, so if you’re looking to get fit, shed some pounds or just don’t have time to cook, give this place a chance. You probably already stock up on Healthy Choice Meals at home and the office, you might as well take something boxed that isn’t loaded with sodium and bad carbs.
