Great spot for lunch! So close to my school and it’s so great to have something that’s not«fast food». And excellent customer service

If you find yourself over on Harwin doing some thrift/wholesale/knock off shopping one day there aren’t too many places to grab a bite to eat. This is a nice familiar place to sit a spell and have a cup of soup and a toasted sandwich. I like Murphy’s Delis. This is the one closest to my work. So I pop in on occasion for a Sammy. I always seem to get the half muffaletta. I love those things. But the French Dip is tasty too. There’s nothing super fancy about any of their sandwiches. But they are consistent, fresh, filling and not too pricey. Parking is usually right out front and the bathrooms are clean. Lady behind the counter making your Sammy is always pleasant. And who doesn’t love a devilled egg! Fountain drinks.

I regularly come here, I usually get the trurkey and Swiss toasted on white. Sandwhich tastes very fresh. Fresh ingredients and bread everyday.

About the chain: Maybe I’m setting myself up to punched in the back of the head or something, but… ever since I was in high school, this place seemed to be a magnet(for my high school pals, back then). I didn’t understand it back then and I don’t today. About this spot: The food was good, pretty clean place, staff ranges from a very customer friendly Hispanic woman, to a much younger Asian female who seemed annoyed that people couldn’t hear her. I had a Cordon Bleu panini(the chunks of chicken kept sliding off with every bite… arrgghh) and a drink that rang up shy of $ 9. Guess I can’t complain. Most chain deli places offer little, but demand much from us, right? Save for BBD, wo stack the toppings for close to the same price. But, I got my food and one little brown napkin. Mostly soda from the fountain drink machine and over priced bottles of tea and water behind the counter. At any rate, I figured is give this place another go, after decades of turning my nose up at them. Oops… there goes my nose, again.

The panini I had was less than $ 7 but it wasn’t any better than I could have made with a panini maker at home. If they had loaded the sandwich I wouldn’t complain but they went really light on the toppings so next time I’ll just opt to make a sandwich at home.

Had a wrap with roast beef, cheddar, spinach, avacado. Not bad, decent place to grab a bit for lunch

Great place to get a good quality sandwich, burrito, or salad! They deliver and cater, and they offer online ordering as well. Their muffalettas are one of a kind and the burrito bar is a nice change from your typical sandwich restaurants.

You won’t find amazing sandwiches here, but they ones they are pretty good. What keeps bringing me back to Murphy’s is their variety. They have your normal selection of deli meats, focaccia bread, burritos and even some wraps.
