A hidden treasure, true to the deepest fundamentals of Montessori.
The teachers truly care about the children, and the helpers are invested in the general care of the kids and babes. The «work» or toys that the children work with are incredible and very dynamic, challenging them to master the everyday and the extraordinary. My little one is fully reading and he hasn’t even entered Kindergarten yet, thanks to the incredible care and devotion of this team.
The environment is literally a home that has been retrofitted to a school, and feels like an old fashioned «schoolhouse.» If you want the traditional classroom setting, this is not for you. If you want the feeling of the child staying at home with you and learning, but you can’t quite do that, this place is for you.
The weekly newsletter highlights the things we as parents need to remember, and occasionally highlights the activities of various children and future activities. There is a weekly exercise camp (day), spanish lessons, and a Show And Tell for the older (3−5yo) kids who can benefit from subject-​specific lessons. I put my first one in at 18 months, and he has stayed through until Kindergarten. I put my baby in at 2 months and she will stay through the same, if I can help it.
