I LOVETHEMEGAPIZZA. I tried Mod Pizza for lunch yesterday for the first time. My coworker and i were looking for a good and quick margherita nearby. Eventhough mod pizzas arent margheritas, they are absolutely delicious. The Mega pizza has deliciously melted cheese sandwiched between two freshly made crusts. The price was great. I paid around 12 dlls for a large mega pizza and a salad. All ingredients are fresh and service is great. I ordered over the phone and pizza was ready in 10 minutes. I had gone back for a Mexican Coke, and accidentally dropped it outside by my car. It shattered and had to go back in for another one. The server saw what had happened and gave me another one for free without a second thought. Definitely would recommend this to anyone

Good pizza for what it is, cheap, fast, easy and inexpensive. Not the best pizza but nothing negative. I like that it’s thin crust and I can add as many toppings as k like without being up charged. Tasty. Low in calories so relatively healthy which is a plus.

I really like the concept of a custom built pizza place, and MOD pizza definitely does a very good job in the variety of veggies/cheese/sauces/meats that they offer, all for an affordable price of about $ 8 for a 11″ pizza. You seriously can’t go wrong when the place lets you pretty much customize your own meal. And if you didn’t like your meal, you really have only yourself to blame. I also appreciate that there’s no limit on the number of toppings and the toppings are all very fresh. On top of that, you can add as many meats as you want at no additional charge! That’s quite a rarity for pizza places in my humble opinion. I got the MOD pizza salad, which is basically a salad(you get to choose what you want in the salad, unlimited) topped over a fresh baked asiago pizza. They let me change the asiago to mozarella, and the combination turned out really well! The pizza salad is pricier compared to just getting a pizza or a salad(about $ 10 versus $ 8), but I really liked that my «pizza» was full of fresh veggies of my own choosing. I think from now on I will be tossing a salad at home, and topping it over some fresh baked cheese pizza as well. Yum! My husband built his own 11″ pizza and that was delicious too. They also serve beer and dessert shakes, but we were too full for anything else. Service is prompt, although I do agree with other Unilocalers that it was very difficult to hear them call your name when your order is ready. It might be easier to use a number system(think DMV) as I was starting to feel bad for the worker yelling out names in this already noisy atmosphere. The only reason this place only gets a 4⁄5 star is because I was thirsty for hours after our meal. When I looked up the nutrition fact, I was shocked to find that one pizza crust has 1323mg of sodium! No wonder it left me guzzling water like a camel? a bear? you get the idea. While the food was definitely tasty and I enjoyed every bite, I may have to reconsider coming back for the sake of my kidneys.

Pretty good customizable pizza for a reasonable price. Subway or chipotle style but for pizza. Fire oven fresh. Thin crust, as many toppings as you can handle, good drink selection and shakes. Pizza is similar to pieology but Mod has better crust. Mod pizza over Dominoes or Pizza Hut any day of the week.

After seeing MOD Pizza on a couple of friends’ Snapchat stories — I was so excited to try it out! Similar in concept to Top It Pizza — Mod is essentially a DIY Pizza joint. We stopped by on a stormy night but was met smiles and an upbeat attitude from all employees. When coming in, there’s a wall where they display their top creations for those that don’t want to create their own pizza as well as a little handout that lists all their ingredients for you to list as you’re moving down their assembly line. I ordered mine with white sauce, dairy-free cheese(yes!!!), italian spicy sausage, canadian bacon, onions, olives, and mushrooms. Totally forgot about putting on spinach — so will have to return to retry it! My only gripe about my pizza was that my toppings never stayed on my pizza but that may have been due to the dairy-free cheese as my boyfriends’ toppings on his pizza stayed on with his mozzarella cheese-topped pizza. But sacrifices must be made. If you’re an alliumphile/garlic lover — get their garlic strips w/a side of their sri-Rancha. Soooo yum!

Gluten free pizza is hard to find, good gluten free pizza is even harder. MOD’s GF pizza is 10⁄10 !!

If you don’t like thin crust pizza, MOD pizza isn’t for you. Personally, I love thin crust pizza and customizing your pizza to your liking. The Oreo milkshake was also on point. Definitely worth the try!

I’m goving this place four stars because of the great ambiance, friendly staff and reasonable prices. I had a caesar salad and the dressing wasn’t that good. Otherwise, they would add what I wanted on the salad, including anchovies. I need to try their pizza which is what they’re known for.

I love the concept of customizable pizzas & unlimited toppings, and I am happy that the trend has finally reached Houston! MOD Pizza meets expectations, because generally speaking, if you don’t like your pizza, you are the one to blame. It’s great for friends, couples, kids, or casual groups of any other kind. And at $ 8 a pizza, it’s hard to say no. My main critique is that the pizzas here seem greasier and more bland comapred to other similar chains. Overall still enjoyable, but not my favorite.

Who doesn’t LOVE unlimited toppings and personal pizzas? Especially for less than $ 5 for a personal mini pizza?!(which was the perfect size for me!) At Mod Pizza you get the choice of choosing to build your own pizza or choosing one of their own. I recommend building your own, that way you can MAKESURE you get everything you love all on one pizza. My boyfriend is all about the meats and I love my veggies, so Mod is perfect for us! We don’t have to argue or figure out how to split the pizza. We just simply get our own just the way we like it! And don’t even get me started on their huge variety of ingredients to choose from! From the different sauces, to the array of meats, and endless choice of veggies and cheeses, Mod pizza has made its way into my heart as my new favorite pizza joint in Houston!

We absolutely go out of our way to eat here! I want to be clear it’s not New York style crust pizza or Chicago deep dish pizza. This place will satisfy your pizza craving without overdoing the fat and calories. They have three different sizes usually the MOD pizza will do the job. Reasonable price and unlimited toppings. The crust taste amazing and all of the toppings and ingredients are fresh. They have a specialty sauce called Sirrachna, which is basically a fusion between Sirracha and ranch– make sure you ask for this, it is free! Upon arrival the staff greets you from across the room. The pizza is typically made ready fairly quickly, 5 – 7 min. They have plenty of indoor seating and good outdoor seating in addition. Personal favs are Italian sausage and pepperoni. Check it out totally worth it– you won’t be disappointed.

The ability to put ANYTHING I want on a pizza? This is living the dream, folks. «Pizza version of Chipotle» is pretty accurate, except Chipotle charges you for guac. I don’t think MOD has guac, but you know what, I’m positive they wouldn’t charge you for it. Get the large version if you know what’s good for you — the crust at MOD is very thin, and the large sandwiches 2 crusts with some cheese in between that instantly bulks up your pizza by a large margin. The line can get crazy long(it took about 10 minutes to get through the line on a weekday evening), and then you’ll have to wait for your pizza to bake(about another 15 minutes). The pizza is also on the pricier side, so definitely don’t skimp on toppings — the staff is friendly that they didn’t SEEM to judge me for backtracking and asking more! I think the wait and price are worth it for the pizza of your heart’s desire, sans any bougie ingredients like caviar or truffles. But hey, I suppose you could sneak that in and top your pizza with it — I don’t think management would approve of that, though.

Parking: Medium size parking lot that is shared with other stores in the shopping plaza. There shouldn’t be any issue with finding a parking spot. Time and Day: Came on a Saturday at 8:30PM. The restaurant was around 20% full and so there was no issue getting a table. For large groups, there are large picnic tables located in the back near the restroom. Food: As the other reviewers mentioned, this restaurant is basically a Subway for pizza. You pick the sauce, meat, vegetables, cheese, and etc. If you are new here and making your pizza from scratch is overwhelming, you can get one of their top ten pizzas and add in any extra toppings that you like. As a meat lover, I went straight for the Mad Dog(the price includes additional toppings if you want to add more) and added in some extra toppings. The crust is very thin but the unlimited toppings of my choosing makes up for that. Overall, the food here gets a 5⁄5. Service: Very mediocre service here. You get in line, tell the person what you want in your pizza, and then you wait for them to call your name. The issue is that it is difficult for them to hear to call your name. They literally just yell out your name and if you in a party just chatting away, then well there is a good chance you are going to miss it. I wish they have a speaker where you can hear your name being called. Service gets a 3⁄5. Price: For basically $ 8, you get an 11′ customized(well except the crust) pizza for your enjoyment. As long as you don’t just get a cheese pizza, the food justifies its price. Overall: An interesting idea of customizing your pizza for a good price. I would definitely come back if I was in the area. Overall, this place gets a 4⁄5.

I was craving some pizza and found MOD on Unilocal. It was highly rated so why not. Personally I love the build your own pizza concept. Also my 5 year old loves building his own pizza. The process is simple, you go in and you can choose a prebuilt pizza or build your own. You choose the size, cheese, sauce, meats, veggies, ingredients. When you are done building your pizza, they cook it for you. The pizza dough is thin and light, and the size offerings is perfect. All the ingredients is fresh(other than not offering fresh jalapenos). The dessert pizza is great. The services is great, the crew is nice and attentive. They great you when you walk in to when you leave. If you want to try something different with pizza or love customizing your pizza, you should give MOD a try.

MOD has a good product at a good price. Customers are able to create or customize a pizza with unlimited toppings for one price! Who doesn’t like that? There are lots of meat, veggie, and spice choices to select. All I saw were pretty standard. Today I ordered the«Mod”-sized(which was basically a regular) pizza with red sauce, mozzarella, grilled chicken, roasted red peppers, green bell peppers, and a pesto drizzle at the end. The finished product was tasty but nothing special. It honestly took longer to wait in line and order the pizza than it did to bake it. Therefore I used that time to scope-out the place. Things appeared on until I saw some bags of what I assume was trash on a cart outside of the kitchen and in plain sight! That was a real turn off but I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and hope that it was about to be taken out to a large trash bin. I’ll probably return, if only out of sheer convenience.

I don’t really like to review chain restaurants, but MOD pizza is new to me! Each pizza size stays the same price no matter how many toppings you put! Think of Chipotle, but pizza… Fresh ingredients daily! Prices aren’t too bad either considering you can put whatever you want. Less than $ 5 for a mini, less than $ 8 for a medium, and $ 11 for family size double-crust.

Mod pizza is a great concept! Think chipotle… Italian style! You can’t beat the price — single pizza with unlimited toppings for about $ 8. All toppings were fresh, and every section of the service line was labeled. It made it easier to select toppings. Crust was slightly burnt, but this is my preference. Interestingly enough, they serve wine on «tap». It’s your traditional white and red options(Pinot Grigio or Pinot Noir). I wasn’t expecting fine aged wine at Mod, BUT they could at least purchase some nicer stemware to serve their wine in. At first, the clerk attempted to pour my wine in a plastic cup, but she poured me the wrong wine. She decided to serve my wine in a huge shot glass. Not much better. Wine glasses aren’t that expensive, Mod!

Made to order pizza, so awesome! For restricted diets or picky eaters it’s a great place that welcomes any and all substitutions and additions. I ordered the Caspian with pineapples, black olives and extra bbq sauce. I asked for no gorgonzola but it made it on there anyway. Not a huge deal for me but if it was an item that a person had an allergy or aversion to, that might have been a problem. It tasted wonderful and was cooked just so the cheese was melted and the crust had a crisp to it. My boyfriend ordered the Dominic with jalepenos and pineapples which I was not a fan of. A little dry because there wasn’t enough sauce. The staff was friendly and like to joke around with you, and they are open late which was wonderful when you get home at 9pm and realize you’re too tired to make anything for yourself and can have a pizza ready in ten mins on a Saturday night. Would like to see other crust options!
