I LOVE Micheal Kors but some of the employees here are RUDE and judgmental. I received a Micheal Kors bag as a gift and the first day I was using it it broke. I wasn’t sure where my Aunt purchased it so i brought it to the store. The sale lady very rudely told me it was from a department store. I was going to purchase a bag in the Micheal Kors store that day but turned around and left.

Great customer service and excellent displays! I’ve been on the hunt for a new purse for a while, but I’m sure picky, I always say the purse finds me. Well sure enough, I was on the escalator going to another level and bam I saw the most gorgeous purse! I finally had a chance to get back to the store. And of course bought the bag. It’s a nice layout, not too much stuff, but still a good selection. No pushy sales staff, although I was on a mission. They were helpful and friendly.

I recently went on a serious purse hunt as my old purse was no longer fresh and lovely. I hadn’t thought of Michael Kors as an option, but when I saw a few of his purses in Nordstrom, I went on the hunt for his stand alone store. This store has a variety of options for shoes, purses, and other accessories. When I walked in at 8pm, I was greeted by a very nice young salesman who genuinely tried to help me find a purse that suited me. He brought out a variety of different items with different metal finishes. I’m not a fancy dresser and I could see someone at an expensive store(of higher end of the mid range) not giving me the detailed sales help that this guy did. So, I appreciate his help. I ended up going to several more stores and purchasing at Cole Haan, but Michael Kors made an impression and I will be back in the future. Service matters as well as the product.

My husband & I went to MK’s Aug 13th, we were greeted by Alex Rodriguez, who was so polite & helpful!!! My husband saw an Oversized Mens Watch that he loved! I went back to MK on Tuesday to purchase the watch as a surprise for my husband. The sales woman was also very polite & did a great job. Today is Thursday, & I just received a call from Mr. Rodriguez. It was sooo thoughtful of him to give me a courtesy call & see how we were doing, even though he was not working at the time of my purchase!!! I give Alex & the store itself 5 stars for being so courteous. Next time you’re in Michael Kors, Houston Galleria, be sure to ask for Alex!!! I have a few upcoming purchases that need to be made, & I will definitely ask for Alex to help with the sale!!!

Michael Kors is blasting this season with its black and white ceramic watches, and while I am not a season-follower, they are nice. So I walked in to look at watches and walked out with a handmade purse. Oops. Jenny is the sales associate that helped me out. She was informative and patient with my detailed questions on the workmanship and the warranty of the purse(incidentally, lifetime warranty on Michael Kors handmade goods). Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would get a Michael Kors handbag. The ones I have been eying for awhile are Chanel grand tote and a Prada Nappa Gauffre. So why this purchase — while the purse itself isn’t of the finest leather, as I compared it to an Anne Fontaine bag upon bringing it home, I can’t complain about its very original ringtote design and the metal detail with the ruched leather. It is also supposedly handmade. That, and I got it with a 40% discount. While I probably would not have bought it without the discount, I am happy with it. FYI on bargain purses — J Crew has a purse for $ 300 that comes in henna color and is just beautiful — beautiful to see, beautiful to touch. It is supposedly cut at the same leather shop in Italy where Gucci gets its leather.

Dear Mr. Kors, This love affair we have going on must stop. Why must your style be so irresistible? From the shoes, sunglasses, watches and handbags I just can’t resist. It doesn’t help that your sales associates are so damn nice and helpful. By the way, I despise all the sale items you constantly have. If you ask me it’s rather annoying getting great deals here. So please stop being so nice, trendy, and affordable because I’ve just had about enough of you. Love, Valerie(Your secret #1 Fan)

Does playing a runway show on a flat screen tv automatically make you fashionable? Does having your salesgirl teetering on five inch heels make the products look more desirable? Does wearing sunglasses while inside the mall make you more of a hipster? I’m not sure. All I can say is that even though all these things make me want to run away screaming from this store, I keep coming back for more. Why? Because of the shoes, my friend. I’m not all that short – just about an inch shorter than the average American woman. So why do I feel the need to wear at least three inch heels everyday? I blame my mother(well, I blame her for almost everything, but this time I’m not actually exaggerating). Ever since I was old enough to wear heels without tripping and breaking my neck(about 7th grade), my mother has put me in some type of heel. Heels make your legs look longer and make you look thinner – this is the mantra that would riddled into my head at such a young age. Years later, I cannot get it out of my head. I seldomly wear flat shoes and when I do, I automatically feel fat and dumpy – regardless of how true it is! There is no convincing me that Cory in flats is half as sexy as Cory in heels. Hence my shoe obsession. I do have a slight problem though. One, I happen to wear the most common shoe size known to mankind so I usually have to jump on shoes the moment I see them before they’re all sold out. Two, I have ridiculously wide feet that don’t fit into my shoes comfortably, much less heels. And three, I tend to be somewhat of a shoe snob and won’t wear anything under $ 100(although, I’m a poor shoe snob so I don’t go too much over that either). So this is where Michael Kors comes into play. These shoes are comfortable. I have a few pairs and each are at least three inches high and I wear them all the time. I park in a free lot and have about a ten minute hike each way through grass, gravel, and dashing across the street to avoid becoming road kill – and these shoes haven’t let me down yet. Yes, the store is a bit ridiculous with alt the white everywhere, the fashion show parade on the tv, and the uppity salespeople, but do your feet a favor and be fashionable, yet comfortable. (Also, they carry a bunch of sunglasses and purses, though I tend to go straight for the shoes.)
