Seated on the very top floor(21st floor) of T. Boone Pickens Academic Tower this is a little library that packs a punch! The little space has plenty of cubicles, tables, computers and study rooms that would be ideal for group-work/projects. Librarians here are UHM-AZING!!! ASKTHEMFORHELP!!! They will help you find reasearch materails and search the databases! SERIOUSLYTHEBESTHELPEVER!!! On the pinnacle of the T. Boone Pickens Academic Tower. It offers a spectacular panorama of the medical center. The staff are very accommodating and patient when assisting with literature searches. The facility reportedly boasts the most comprehensive collection of medical and health related articles. Should the research you are looking for not be present on site, they will order it for you. Small glass walled and sound proof conference rooms are available for groups. It is an immaculate and a quiet place to study. Unfortunately, it is not open on weekends but it operates from 7am-7pm on weekdays.

Reminiscent of my University of Houston MD Anderson library study days, this library makes me feel comfortable and giddy at the same time. Located on the 21st floor of the Pickens tower at MD Anderson, there are plenty of cubicles, tables, computers, and study rooms to your heart’s content. Well lit and with great views of the medical center and surrounding areas, what more could you need in a study spot for a student like me? Although the only difference between the UHMDA library and here is that I’m no longer at the library for social purposes haha :]
