I can’t say enough about how wonderful everyone here was in helping me. I needed multiple outfits for a wedding I’m attending in India and I was clueless. They advised me on the appropriate options and then helped me select them. There in house tailor does all the alterations if needed, and they took extra time helping me select jewelry to go with each outfit. Even the gentleman at checkout was gracious enough to answer my questions about other non-attire related Indian wedding customs. Would highly recommend this store!

I needed to get something quickly and showed up to their store 5 min before they closed. They accommodated me and quickly helped me find what I needed. Bless them for their help in my time of need. And as oppose to other stores that are closed on Tuesday, this store is open.

The ladies were very very patient and helpful. They weren’t pushy at all. They have a great selection of clothings in a variety of colors and styles. They were able to tailor my salwar kameez in less than 15 minutes.

I dropped a sari off to get tailored; it was very inexpensive– only $ 10 for what I required, and the work was done within 24 hours. They are open late until 8 pm, which was very convenient for me on the weekdays. I also bought some bangles, they have a huge selection and the prices are pretty good, compared to other stores in the Hillcroft area($ 3 for a dozen and up). I wanted 2 dozen plain black bangles, but they mainly carry black with gold or black with silver so I wasn’t able to find exactly what I wanted. Otherwise, this is a good shop to visit before your next Indian function.

Very nice boutique. Beautiful clothes and jewelry. Great prices. Bought a very nice blouse for $ 10. The staff was very patient and helpful. Also, they had larger sizes available. I really enjoyed my shopping experience here.

I needed to buy a saree for a wedding and I put it off until the very last minute, when I finally forced myself to make the arduous drive down to Hillcroft. I know nothing about Indian clothes and was actually a little nervous as I walked into Laxmi Sarees. A lady greeted me as soon as I walked in the door and asked what she could help me with. I told her that I was going to a Pakistani wedding and she pulled out six sarees that she thought I’d like. She also told me that she could alter them any way that I wanted in just a few minutes… wow. I had NOIDEA that putting on a saree could be so complicated, but she patiently wrapped me up in each one. When I made my final choice, she wrapped me again, pinned me, gave me shoe and accessory suggestions, and rang me up. The whole process took less than 45 minutes, I only shelled out $ 200 for the entire outfit, and I walked out the door ready for the wedding. The saree stayed perfectly in place all night and I received a ton of compliments on my professional wrapping skills. ;) Perfect!
