I have lived in this neighborhood for 3 years and I just love this Kroger! Always clean, always stocked, always a good feeling to walk around the store. I usually use the self checkout as I only shop for 2 – 3 days at a time so I don’t have any complaints about the lanes.

For a Signature Kroger it is alot more basic than most I’ve visited. Oh, and never expect to find bell peppers here. What is it with this grocery store and bell peppers? The way thier isles are categorized. Oh. My. Word. Whoever had that job needs another day job. Nothing is what it seems or where it should be. What are all those people upstairs doing? Printing out kroger cards only? It gets three stars because I do come here once a week and most times find what I need. But the stock people and the categorizers need an organizer.

So glad this is my neighborhood Kroger. The fresh orange juice station is awesome — who doesn’t like fresh OJ? And on Sunday afternoons there’s the cheese and crackers(and other nibblets) to snack on while you shop. Of course this isn’t exclusive to this Kroger — but let’s not focus on that guys. And the chocolate covered strawberries on Valentine’s Day was too sweet. The staff is very friendly and always helpful, not one complaint. Once I accidentally broke a food item with glass casing(oops!) — before I could gather myself someone was at my aisle calling for a clean up crew. I didn’t have to make any life-changing decisions as to whether to run for it or clean up my mess. Thanks guys! It’s definitely not the Kroger with the widest selections — despite its size. But when I can’t make the journey out of my 1block radius from home :) — I’m too grateful Kroger is able to accommodate me.

They have a pretty good selection of organic products & produce. Can, like most, be hit or miss on freshness. Got to give them credit for trying. Shop there a lot. Never have too much trouble checking out. I like the store and the layout is pretty easy to follow.

Had an awesome experience tonight with their meat department. My fiancé and I had to get our yearly raw Xmas brisket sliced for our beef jerky. After we got it all sliced up there was a mix up on the price per pound. After already working their butt off for us slicing 30+ pounds of raw brisket. They honored the price we saw on the shelf. Apparently it had been placed in the wrong location and wasn’t actually supposed to be that price. So thank you very much for not making a situation out of an honest mistake. They were extremely professional! We always shop here and will continue to do so. Merry Christmas!

I’m not a fan of this store. I’ve been here a few times now and I’m always disappointed. The selection is pretty basic for such a large store and the aisles have been poorly stocked every time I’ve tried to shop here. They don’t carry a great fresh selection. I couldn’t even find a top round roast for pot roast. Isn’t that a meat section staple? The coffee aisle was also a disaster. A great sale on Gevalia K-Cups, but none on the shelf. Just disappointing. I’ll keep driving a little out of my way for Randall’s or HEB.

I have visited this Kroger and many others and never once was tempted to stop at the hot food counter. Today I had no intention on doing so however, I saw a line and decided to give it a try. Alice the cook and made some slamming gumbo. I’m not an expert on gumbo nor eat it a lot of it but this was off the chain gumbo! There were other items there that I will try next time. The bowl was only $ 5 and it was enough for lunch. The wait was short and the food was excellent. I would have never expected that from a Kroger. Yes the other food looked just as good. I will be going back. Also I was shocked to see all the eye-candy in a Kroger’s over the lunch hour. Not that I was looking!

Amazing how many people use the 5 min loading zone to just park and go in to shop. Lazy ass people. No security to enforce it either. Sign should say«Free parking for idiots».

Kroger service is good. The produce is always fresh and unlike Walmart, their produce doesn’t perish so quickly. I like their deli section.

I love this kroger because their produce section is great. It is clean and once in a while, your cashier might smile at you and be pleasant. That’s right… the younger kids checking customers out need training in people’s skills. I have been here numerous times but only a handful of those times have I had awesome cashiers. The majority of times, i have young cashiers who wouldnt even look up to greet you, ignore your questions and throw the produce around after they scan it. I love everything else about this kroger, the customer service by the meat section, deli and stockers are great. Only Cashiers especially the younger cashiers need training. With that said, there are some awesome cashiers that can train the others.

I prefer to come to this grocery store in this area than any other grocery store in the vicinity. There is a starbucks inside and redbox outside. The parking area is big. Inside the store is clean. There’s a good selection of products. Avoid coming here during rush hour 3:30pm– 7pm. After 7pm produce are mostly out of stock. I prefer to come in the morning to buy my groceries.

I don’t normally shop at Kroger but since this one is super convenient and just a couple of blocks away, I come here for dessert mainly. They have THEBEST Private Selection sorbert and my bf’s favorite Dryer’s French Silk icecream since the whole Bluebell tragedy happened… That icecream flavor is surprisingly super popular, and it’s been sold out once before, so we like to stock up on that flavor. There’s one redbox machine right outside of the entrance and a starbucks located inside the store. Kroger’s prices are a little bit more expensive than HEB I’ve noticed, so it helps to sign up for their card. They have a self– checkout station which is ALWAYS a +1 star in my book.

I am very disappointed with this Krogers. I usually shop at the Krogers on 12555 Briar Forest Dr. I thought I give this place a try an shop here, comparing the stores. What a mistake! The staff here is very rude, I cannot stress that enough! They gave me probably the worst experience shopping for groceries. I asked an employee where the Chia seeds were. He seemed to be very irritated and told me to go check the fruit section because he did not know what those were. I finally found them and went to go check out. Amajority of workers looked very young like they were High school students or something. What I disliked was my bagger, this«Old Asian man», he kinda of freaked me out. He was very Obnoxious, and I can tell he was trying to be talkative and gossip with other employees while on Duty, bagging«my items». The cashier was Rude and didn’t even care enough to ask me if I had a Kroger’s card. I had to say I have one. This Kroger’s is very unprofessional to say the Least! I will not be returning to this specific Krogers!

I never thought that I’d miss a grocery store so much that I’d want to review it on Unilocal.I used to live in the Energy Corridor area of Houston, conveniently across the street from this Kroger. While it may not live up to the standards of Central Market or Austin, TX HEBs(due to a lack of self-serve granola, trail mix, herbs, spices, etc.) for just your run-of-the-mill grocery store, this place hits the spot. This Kroger has great sushi, and fresh produce. Further, it has a selection of grab & go meals such as chicken wings, dumplings, meatloaf, and best of all– the ‘Chicken Filet’ sandwich. I kid you not. The irony of this is that there is actually a Chick-Fil-A located in this same complex. This grocery store is also open 24 hours, so I frequented this Kroger so often, that my roommate’s girlfriend at the time joked that my boyfriend and I seemed to have Kroger date night at least twice weekly. The only real negative to this grocery store is that the parking tends to be overcrowded, and if you don’t use the self check-out, the lines tend to be fairly long during most afterwork hours.

I love this store! It’s big, there’s plenty of parking, and the location is perfect. There’s a Chic-Fil-A, McDonalds, Walgreens, a bank, clothing stores, Chinese restaurant, and a liquor store all in the same parking lot. Overall, this Kroger Signature store has everything you need. The meat is always fresh, and they keep a nice supply of seafood. The downfall in the seafood department is that the shrimp is kind of pricey. The crabs and lobster is always on sale, but I haven’t found that the shrimp is ever on sale. Bummer because that means I have to go to another store for reasonably priced shrimp. Other than that, you can get everything you need here. For all of you drinkers, this store has a wide variety of beer and wine. To satisfy that sweet tooth, visit the bakery for everything your heart desires. They will even make your wedding cake! Stop by and check it out for yourself.

The staff and pharmacists are so helpful! They go out of their way to help me locate medication if they don’t have it on their shelf… who does that! They do!

I just moved to this area of Houston 2 days ago. I went to this Kroger for the first and probably last time at 10:20 pm on a Wednesday night and there was no real cashier open to check out– Only the automated check out lines which were both lined up with people waiting check out. There were several employees walking around aimlessly. My time is more valuable than just waiting for a simple check out process. I left my groceries on the floor and walked out. I didn’t realize this was going to be like Walmart.

One of my favorite grocery stores produce always seems good. You can get daily deals in the organic section. I also love the serve yourself grains and nuts by the pound. I’ve only been hearing the busy hours but the line seem to go fast haven’t had any problem with older people stopping lines to write checks. The only thing I very much do not enjoy is a traffic to get in and out of this joint. Crazy SOBs block the ins and outs!
