I do not recommend this place to anyone! First of all, this day care is not very clean, once you walk in, it stinks so bad! You could tell they don’t clean on a daily basis which is a reason why my son got sick after 2 days of going there. Second, the people working there are not very passionate about working with kids. At least that is how my son’s teacher was. She was always in a bad mood and you could tell she did not want to be there. Every Time I went to drop him off or pick him up, she was just sitting on a chair and the kids were playing by themselves. She did not even try to pretend that she likes the job for the only 5 minutes I was there. My son only went there for few days, we had to pull him out of day care. I only chose this day care because it was close to my work but it was a big mistake.

I have mixed emotions on Kompany Kids… I’ll start with the good. My son learned a lot while he was there. He was taught baby sign language and signs and understands the concept of «more» & «please». Most of the teachers and staff I really liked. Everyone who worked there(although they didn’t my name) knew my son and were very kind and loving to him. Aaron who works the front desk was ALWAYS pleasant, friendly and genuinely a nice person. However, my son got sick there… a lot. Now, I realize it’s a daycare and kids pass around illnesses but at his new school he hasn’t even come home with a runny nose. I don’t know if it’s just a coincidence like the younger ones get sick easier or all of a sudden his immune system is remarkable but either way it makes me really question the cleanlyness of Kompany Kids. The website boasts that they have the lowest student/teacher ratio… ummm if by lowest they mean absolute max allowed by the state of Texas. 9 kids to 1 teacher whereas at his new school it like 5:1 ratio in the 18 month old range. Kompany Kids is not cheap… expect to pay an average of $ 1000 per month on tuition. The money was not a problem but I would’ve thought for that cost they would’ve been able to update the school even if a little. When you walk in to KK it has a very worn and tired feeling. It doesn’t feel crisp and it doesn’t feel clean. Overall I think KK could be a 5 star daycare but it’s not there yet. My son was there for a year and at his new school for a month before I decided to write this review just so I could have some basis of comparison.
