Do not go there to add fuel and buy things. It is too expensive. I added the regular gasoline today the price is 2.75/g and the Shell next door is 2.53/g. And some other place is much cheaper. I brought 2 bottles of water they charged $ 5 dollar which is only $ 1 per bottle in the Randells nearby. You know it is 2.5 times. There also have safe problem with the fasoline pump nozzel. It is short than others. When I added the gasoline and there had a very small angle suddenly those gasoline spilled out and they spilled all over my shirt and pants. You know I tighter the nozzel but not so tight. I never met this kind of things before it almost draw me crazy. I was covered with those gasoline and the strong smell. And it is really dangerous. I will advice you to go some place instead.

What a blatant ripoff and a calculated way to cheat you. The regular fuel is advertised and priced comparable to others so one assumes Plus and Premium would be 20 and 40 cents more, but Premium ended up being a Dollar more than anywhere in town, $ 3.89 ($ 2.80 is average in town) a gallon! If he’s ripping you off on fuel, imagine how he’s ripping you off on repairs.

Price gouging at its best. Save 30 – 40 cents a gallon by going one block east to the Shell at Holcombe and Greenbriar

Gas-​wise, this place is way expensive compared to the Shell just one block over at Greenbriar/​Holcombe.
For state inspections, this place is my favorite in the area because it’s fast (it’s literally 5 min wait if you’re first in line) and gives a $ 5 discount on their inspections (there’s a sign outside when the discount is offered) so it’s about $ 35. If you go to My Mechanic next door it might take an hour and cost $ 40. Plus, this place got recently renovated so there’s a little waiting area behind the cashier station that is oddly well decorated for a gas station.

My car recently stalled at the corner of Kirby and Holcombe. I was out of gas… Since my gas gauge is broke due to a bad fuel sensor, I misgauged the amount of gas in my tank. Two cops helped me push my car to this station. Although they are getting new gas pumps and had no gas, the owner really helped me out.
He asked one of his guys to take me to the nearest station to fill up a gas take, which he provided for me to use. Then, when it still didn’t start, he ran some diagnostics to see if there was no other issues. After making a second run for gas, we found it was just completely out of gas. The people here were very nice and did everything in their reach to help me out.
It is hard to find a place do willing to help and be willing to check the entire car to make sure there was not just one problem. Thank you to the people there.

Despite the one star rating I guess I also get a one star rating for getting gas here. Since I’ve never owned a car until I moved to Houston and only really been driving everyday for the past few months, this place was were I got gas. It’s close to were I live and work and I got familiar with the pumps and what not. Never really looked into getting gas anywhere else since this always worked for me. Plus since there are other stations close by, figured it would be competitive.
Well me being not that bright, have just realized that this place NEVER changes it’s gas prices and furthermore keeps them extreme high. Currently it’s about 15 – 20 cents more than the Shell 30 seconds away at the Greenbriar/​Holcombe intersection.
So I post this as a general FYI. If you are in the area and need gas don’t come here. Again, there is another Shell less than 30 seconds away on Holcombe that has better prices.
