Bought a bucket of chicken last night. We wanted 5 original and 5 grilled. The lady had a hard time hearing over the intercom but I guess she pretends like she finally gets it. When we pulled over to pay, we asked for some plates. She said yes. We got the order and realized, she didn’t give us any plates. That’s fine… When we got home, we realized she gave us 5 crispy instead of grilled. She didn’t give us receipt either so we can’t leave comment on KFC website. Horrible. Not very KFC like. No wonder the rating on this branch is 2 out of five.

We don’t eat fried chicken very often, and after tonight’s experience and the egg KFC laid(you should pardon the pun), it’ll be a long time before we go back. First, I used the drive-thru, and I’m convinced that anyone who passes with a score over 60 on an IQ test is automatically disqualified from working the window at this store. This is pretty close to the exact conversation we had: Her: «Welcome to KFC. Would you like to try our new Nashville Hot chicken?» Me: «No thanks. I’m going to order original recipe dinners.» Her: «What would you like?» Me: «Two dinners, both original recipe.» Her: «How many dinners?» «Two.» “Original recipe, Extra crispy, or New Nashville Hot?” «Original recipe.» «What sides?» «On both, I want mashed potatoes and cole slaw.» «You only get one.» «I’ll pay for the extra side on each one.» «Which one do you want as the extra – cole slaw or potatoes?» «Does it matter?» «No.» “Then YOU decide.” «Original recipe, extra crispy, or the new Nashville hot?» «I’ve already said three times Original recipe. By the way, if you can handle this, on one of the dinners, I want one breast and one wing, and on the other, just two breasts.» «Do you want both dinners original recipe?» «Yes. The dinners should be exactly alike except that one has two breasts, and the other has one plus a wing, but everything else should be the same.» Surprisingly, the order was correct, but the chicken was way overdone and didn’t taste right. The biscuits were also overcooked to the point of being dry. I think this is our last visit to this KFC, as the conversation is typical of what we experience at the drive-thru. I should tape it. If ever there was an argument against an increase to a $ 15.00 per hour minimum wage, this experience was it!

I am extremely disappointed with the service at this location. On Tuesday, December 8 I went through the drive-through at this location and I placed an order with the attendant. The order that I placed was for Famous Bowl without corn. I drive home with the intention of enjoying this meal and to my dismay it is filled with(you guessed it …) corn. I don’t know how this happened because the attendant repeated the order to me twice so I was certain that it was correct. I am extremely disappointed to the point that I never want to go to another KFC ever again. I will be contacting the complaint department.

Straight out front, I’ll say I’m not a fried chicken fan, but when I heard they introduced a chicken pot pie, I put metal to the pedal and went straight to KFC. This store is clean, well-situated, with ample parking. It’s pleasant inside, but very formulaic. The chicken pot pie was ample in portions, served in a little box. It had all the things mama put in pot pies: carrots, potatoes, peas. It was yummy.

This KFC food is always hot and fresh but only 4 stars because the drive-through speaker is trash!

My favorite fried chicken chain is Popeye’s. But every now and then, I have the craving for some KFC’s original recipe and when I do, this is the KFC that I go to because it’s the closest one. I don’t need to review the chicken because they do taste good. However, the service at this location is just bleh. Service is slow and the people that work here don’t even acknowledge you when you walk in. They’re just in their little world chatting away and sometimes they just roll their eyes when a customer walks in. Anyway, original recipe chicken is the diggity bomb. I don’t really care about everything else here.

OMG! We went through the drive thru one night around 9pm. The lady couldn’t understand ANYTHING I said. And I speak perfect english! She finally just said, «pull around to da winder» ha! Then she wasn’t even there! We just sat there for a minute or two. Finally another lady came to the window and asked if we needed any help. We said we just wanted to place an order. They were out of EVERYTHING we asked for. No green beans. No cole slaw. No honey bar-b-q wings. So we FINALLY found something on the menu they had, ordered it, got home to eat, and it was COMPLETELYWRONG!!! Not even close to what we ordered. And it was DISGUSTING!!! I really like KFC, always have. But not this one! Ewww!

Just about 3 or 4 lights from the Galleria due West this particular location seemed to have a semi new interior and wasn’t clean but wasn’t dirty if that made any sense. Sometimes you run into a fast food place where there is a manager that cares about how the shift is ran and around this time when I went(Month of December 2011) it like most of these places you would not feel the urgency to be the model KFC that some others stride for. It’s just fast food so I really can’t expect much but I do yearn the luck I used to have when I would find a location that would have an auditor or trainer on site, that’s when you know everybody will be on their P’s and Q’s and your food will be fresh. Wasn’t happening here, I’ll wait about six months to come back when the crew turns over again.

What can I say, it’s KFC lol. Nothing special. Can’t say anything bad, always clean inside.
