Jimmy John’s

First off let me say I have ordered from this location about twice a week for the past year or so. 9 out of 10 times the food is delivered in less than 20 minutes. Obviously, if you order a sandwich around lunch time the delivery time may vary and may take up to 45 minutes. I try not to have a negative opinion of a restaurant with a long delivery time especially if you can safely assume they might be busy.
The sandwiches have always been fresh, consistent and correct. Don’t forget to tip your drivers!

Not impressive service. Very slow. Ran out bread. Overall very disappointing experience.

I have ordered from this location about six times since moving to the vintage park area. The first two times weren’t that great but since then it’s gone downhill! I get the Vito and my kids get the sandwich with ham and cheese only. I get them to deliver our food and it’s always easier for me as a single mom who works nights. I always explain to them to knock loudly when they come because we have a larger upstairs apartment and that’s never happened. They have left twice and had to come back and when they do its with soggy food. My kids had the ham and cheese sandwich last time and I split it for them only to open it up and find only two pieces of ham and two pieces of cheese on the entire sandwich. I basically paid for bread! The last time I had it delivered I came down to pay the guy and get my food and was greeted at my door by a cloud of cigarette smoke that lingered and came into my apartment. My kids both have asthma and it caused my daughter to start coughing after smelling the strong odor. After he left I went outside to look and there was a cigarette butt right near my front door. So the guy was smoking outside my front door (right outside it) before knocking for me to come down. I called to tell the manager and all he said was oh ok well I’ll talk to him. I thought this was unprofessional and rude. No apology or anything. Will be the last time we order from jimmy johns and I will tell all y nearby friends and family. Really crazy behavior.

Love the sandwiches but poor customer service. I had to first speak to the cashier. She was very dry and not friendly. When our order was ready, we had to put our own sandwiches in a bag. However the customer behind me items were bagged for her. We also had to wait at the counter to purchase additional items. Worker did not notice, when told, she took our purchase with the gloves she was using to make a sandwich. After giving us our change, she returned to finishing making the sandwich with the same gloves. (Yuck) I’m also curious why the guy that is making the bread does not wear gloves but continues to push his glasses back onto his face. When he goes to the restroom, does he wash his glasses along with his hands?

Took an hour to have food delivered. Had to call the store and was told that our order had left with 3 other orders. Would not use the delivery service again.

Don’t waste your time at this jimmy johns. The employee I dealt with was the reason the experience was not worth while. The food is the same at every jimmy johns, so it’s kind of hard to mess that up. I have been to jimmy johns all over Houston and the employees are always out going and friendly. I looked over the reviews on this one and gave it a try any way. The reviews were right. I expect more from the vintage area and so should the owner, especially with the amount of rent they pay. I only dealt with one employee he did not want to be there, management should grant his wish. Short male with the large earrings.

HORRIBLE customer service. We ordered sandwiches for delivery and I thought I checked for them to cut my sandwich in half. (My mistake) BUT they cut my fiancé’s sandwich at a 25 to 75 ratio which we had to cut into 3 pieces to eat. I ordered the beach club and asked for sprouts because at the location by HEB across from Klein we were able to add sprouts. With that being said I didn’t get the sprouts so we asked to have a different sandwich delivered to us. They argued with us saying the other sandwich we wanted didn’t have sprouts either (which we were aware) and they also told us they wanted the ENTIRE other sandwich back. I’ve been in the service industry for years and I have never treated a guest so poorly even if it was or wasn’t their mistake. They took over 45 minutes to deliver my food and it all looked like it was slapped together by Stevie Wonder. DON’T GIVE THIS LOCATION YOUR BUSINESS. I’ve never had problems at any other store other than this one. They need new management and a staff with better attitudes.

These guys are awesome!!! Delivery is always fast. I have even gotten a call when they are gonna be a little late. Never has it been more than 20 min between placing an order and delivery.

Bunch of freaking stoned idiots. After waiting 40 minutes for my #12 I opened my meal to discover there was no turkey. So after calling up there and waiting on hold for over five minutes I had to call back up there. Well I guess according to the manager the reason it was forgotten was because they are so busy. He didn’t offer anything for the inconvenience, I had to ask. I was told after uh yeah uh uh uh (you get the picture) they could possibly send someone out there with my money. Not a I’m sorry let me make you a new one. Nothing. Oh and the last time I was up there, there was an employee making a sandwich in the food prep area and using her vapor cigarette. Like that’s not considered a health code violation or anything. A majority of the employees look and smell like they are stoned so I guess this is why everyone calls this location the stoner jimmy johns. I don’t see how this place is always busy because there is never anyone in there and when there is the employees are so darn rude.

Best delivery service around! Quick, friendly, easy ordering online, and yummy food. Great prices too

Solid sandwich spot. Sometimes the crew is good sometimes the crew is just breathing. But, they have never failed to give me what I was looking for when I stepped up to needing a sandwich.

They absolutely performed for us today. My company decided to spring for lunch today. It was a last-​minute decision by our operations folks. I called up this location, they put me on hold for a minute while they talk to manager, and when the manager got on the phone she assured me that she could get the order in and ready by noon. I drove over at 11:15 in the morning to pay for the three large party platters, and return at about 11:55 AM and they were ready. I have always ordered from Jimmy John’s and given them at least a days notice. I usually do it online and from a location off of FM 1960. But this one was a little closer and they performed great. I’ll be sure to return to them in the future, and get my order in the day before.

Used to use them all the time for our work. Now they added a delivery fee (understandably) but when they give us our totals they don’t tell us about the delivery fee till they get here and collect the money. Customer service is horrible seams like the people answering phones don’t know what they are doing. Constantly forgetting chips or drinks. Won’t use them anymore

Service here has improved since my last two visits. There was a full staff on hand and a manager to make sure that things were going well. In my previous visits, the staff seemed generally disinterested; perhaps they have turned the corner.
Their sandwiches are simple and good. The bread is perhaps my favorite part of the sandwich. A nice alternative to more filling sandwiches at other restaurants.

Whoever hires these kids that deliver at night is doing a good job. I work in the HP complex and it’s really difficult to find us but those kids don’t give up. Keep up the good work JJ’s. I love the Beach Club!

The sandwiched are pretty good but the service is not. I expressed that I had never been to a jimmy johns before and didn’t know what to try and everyone just stood there and looked as if I gave them the hardest question of their lives. If I were JImmy Johns I would definitely work on customer service skills especially for first time customers.

Been here twice and both times were great! Fast and friendly service, fresh ingredients and I always love the music playing. Glad this location opened up.
