great place. they carry a whole bunch of spices at reasonable prices. they carry odds and ends that are interesting. they also carry an extensive line of inscence like citronella. the owner is very pleasing. very neat and clean. they also carry different varieties of rice.

I often go over to the «Little Dehli» section of town and India Mart is always a must for me. There are a number of small Indian grocery stores within a few block radius and I’ve been to them all. The selection here beats all the others. The prices aren’t ridiculous, given that imported items obviously aren’t going to be cheap no matter what
I’m always pleased with the selection of food ingredients, prepared food items, cookware, and spices. I lived for many years in the UK (Scotland), so I’m addicted to Indian food and this place is my saving grace when I cook, which is often.
The owner isn’t exactly Mr. Congeniality, but he is polite and always helpful if I have a question or can’t find something.
If you cook Indian, for my money, India Mart is about the best place in Houston to do your shopping. I recommend it!
