AVOID THIS HOSTEL AT ALL COSTS!!! They have a huge bed bug infestation. I stayed one night and then travelled to stay with friends. Surprise! Now their apartment has bed bugs. The staff is very nice, but I also saw the biggest cockroach I have seen in my life in the dining room area. This place needs to be torn down.

This was my first experience staying in a hostel. The house was old and very interesting, art work to the mirror wall, just some randomness. It isn’t a fancy place but a great place to meet people from all over the world. So if you aren’t the type that wants to go back to a hotel room and sit alone this is a great ace to have company. The employees are great and have good advice for food and local attractions. Would definitely stay again. The only thing I would ask for is larger lockers.

Great location! Cute little dorm room with a couch. The place felt like a home. Could do with some lockers and more security on the dorm room doors. You had to pay for wifi (not much) but still.

Great location. Friendly and attentive staff coupled with clean, bed space and facilities. Full kitchen and internet. Close to transit and you can almost walk down town. The only thing thats missing to garner this hostel an extra star would be a place to lock up your stuff. I will come back :)

This place is a dump. A set right out of Moonshiners. The homeless shelter look with people sleeping on any free space available. Chris the ‘desk clerk” only quality was giving my total refund when I said NO WAY EVER
No locks on doors, no lockers, crooked floors with torn carpet: those are the places good sides. The smell alone would drive cock roaches away

we stayed there for one night while in town from austin. the facility was nice, the staff friendly, though they showed up 35mins. late for check out on sunday morning. we had to leave the city to go pick up our dog from boarding and did not appreciate having to wait around.
i consider myself a «no worries» type personality and i could appreciate the eclectic décor and randoms hanging out on the front lawn until 4am. but i did not appreciate the huge bites and welts i woke up with. it seems like not everyone experiences this, and had i not clearly slept on a bed full of bugs, i would have totally recommended this place. but now i have to say beware.

So glad I found this place! The staff is super friendly, like most Houstonites– the place is cheap, and the house is really cool. I had a blast for the week that I spent there.

There is always someone going in and out of the hostel for some sort of event. You definitely have a good chance to meet some very interesting people here! The staff are very nice people and very fun to talk with.
