This is my «go-​to» place to scoop up some jewelry for my wife or family.
Unlike the big box stores and the smaller jewelers, who carry virtually identical stock, Kim & Lisa look for smaller independent suppliers who are more artists than manufacturers.
The results are hundreds of items that you simply won’t find anywhere else; and that makes it easy when you are in search for a unique item for someone special
They recently helped me out with a special ordered necklace and, unlike most other stores, I never leave this place without finding something that I feel good about buying. Many years ago, before I started going here, I’d run the gauntlet of six to a dozen jewelry stores, and never really find anything that fit the bill.
If I were to make a suggestion it would be to include some higher end items of precious metals, etc., as I sometimes feel that I really haven’t spent enough to commemorate a special occasion. I guess that’s not such a big problem. :-)

Kim and Lisa have a great eye for unique pieces of jewelry and accessories! High Gloss is the perfect place for a gift or a treat for yourself. They mostly have jewelry and accessories for women, but they also have some for men. I have many versatile pieces from High Gloss that I get compliments on all the time. This one of a kind shop is a must stop and shop in Houston!

Went to High Gloss for the first time today with a friend. We both loved it! Such a great selection of hard to find jewelry. Alice was incredibly helpful and attentive, making sure to include care instructions for my new rings. Oh yes, you heard me right! Rings… Plural… And I’ll be back for more!

A+ customer service from Lisa for a phone order of a VERY hard-​to-​find bag. They overnighted the bag to me using my Fedex account with no handling/​packaging fees. The professionals here made everything a very positive experience. Thanks!
Minus one star for charging 35% more than another store where I located the same bag.

I adore High Gloss! I was a big fan when they were located in the Galleria and am now an even bigger fan of their expanded Uptown Park boutique. This is THE place for unique jewelry and accessories. Here you’ll find all kinds whimsical one of a kind and limited production items carefully selected by the very knowledgeable and extremely helpful owners. I love the layout of the store and the drawers you’re meant to look through in search of hidden treasure. It’s also a feast for the eyes, with beautiful objects creatively displayed amongst the store’s cases and on counters. The inventory is ever-​changing, so frequent visits are a must (so as not to miss out on that fabulous item that you didn’t know you had to have, of course!) Leisurely browsing is never discouraged here, and you’ll never feel pressured to make a purchase. I think the owners understand that falling in love is an organic process so they allow nature to take it’s course… and fall in love you will!
