Hermes is a great store! The selection, ordering, and pricing make it a great place for beginner’s through professionals to shop. They have the best selection of pa in Houston, and all the connectors that other stores don’t stock.

Fuck the other review Hermes is awesome just ask nicely and you will get a good deal with whatever your finding its bilingual they speak Spanish so eso esta mas chido anyway they got a bunch of instruments and hardware if you ask me at guitar center they make you feel like your not family and you feel like a outcast at Hermes it’s cool it’s like your one of them.
YOAHHHH like I said before Hermes is cool you can get special orders in just ask don’t be shy and yeah it might be in a rough neighborhood but don’t judge a book by its cover

Of the many music stores in the Greater Houston Area, this is among the bottom (if not the bottom) of the list. Yes, their prices tell a great story to the consumer, but with a closer look, it’s clear that most all of the gear sold is factory refurbished and/​or blemished. There are many holes in the inventory and ordering what you want/​need is very difficult.
The store itself is in a rough area of town; break-​ins and robberies are common (this is public record). There is no legitimate security on staff, nor is the management/​staff conscious of the fact that their store is no suitable for the disabled.
The service is sub-​par, to say the very least. The staff is not fully trained, nor are they knowledgeable about the gear they carry. As a whole, they don’t seem to understand store policies, point of sale, etc. Shopping there is a very frustrating and unsatisfying experience… I would recommend shopping ANYWHERE else. This music store will not be around for long with how it chooses to operate and how they treat their customers.
