I was cleaning out closets and decided to find a consignment store to bring some very nice clothes to. I generally shop Dillards or boutiques buying clothing such as Missook, Vera Wang, Jones of New York etc… The person on the other end of the line was so rude I could not get a word in edgewise telling me what they wouldn’t take never giving me a chance to speak. I finally just hung up. Joanne is not someone I would want to have to deal with either buying or selling. I’ll just take my clothes to GoodWill thanks.

I had an absolutely horrible experience at this place trying to consign items. Owner out of town and the person working today was beyond rude. I hope they sell quickly and I never have to step foot in this place again.

The customer service has a lot of room for improvement. I called 8 times on the same day to check on the items I left on consignment and nobody answered the phone. When I finally got someone to answer, I was told on a very demanding tone that the phone doesn’t work when a translation is processed. Then, I was rushed off the phone and felt like the person was annoyed when I questioned the consignment time. Very disappointed!!!

rude… I had some brand new baby pants(100% cotton) to offer on consignment… she didn’t even want to take 60 seconds and look at them…

I consigned clothing and accessories at this place for a number of years(since their original location on Buffalo Speedway/Bissonnet). I focused on providing quality items that sold well in this shop; the owner always made money and so did I, and this happened for YEARS. In 2014, I ended my consigning relationship with this place because one of the staff members, Joanne, turned aggressive and rude towards me for the simple reason I never purchased items from the store. Her communication with me just about every visit was loud, obnoxious, and unprofessional. On one visit, she stated in front of several other shoppers that I never buy anything because I think the store is beneath me. What the hell?! This woman knows nothing about me, my style, or my fashion needs. I shop elsewhere for a VARIETY of reasons, none of which require any justification to this harpy shrew. On another occasion, she was training a new employee and she says to the gal, «we usually ask if they’re interested in shopping today and let them know of new items we’ve recently gotten, but don’t ask her if she’s interested in shopping because she never is.» Clearly she was never hugged as a child. Sadly, I’ve never met the owner. She’s never around during normal business hours. There’s no website either, just a phone listing. And the shrew is always the one answering. Tragic really. I’d like the owner to know how disappointed I am about ending my consigning relationship with her store because of one disrespectful employee.

I have found so many great things here. And just like Jennifer said, the service is great. If she sees something you like, she’ll instantly suggest other items. The other ladies shopping there tend to be friendly too. I’ve often entered into discussions about outfits with other shoppers. I found a great boucle St John Couture jacket that I wear to work when I want to show up everyone in their«Kohls Couture.» I’ve also bought dresses from Dolce and Gabbana and Lela Rose that fit into my wardrobe perfectly. They have a wide variety of Tory Burch clothes and Kate Spade bags. There’s also a lot of slightly lower pried designers, but I tend to gravitate to the upper level ones here.

I love this place — great deals on quality clothing, and the woman who works there is the reason I gave it a 5 even though they don’t have shoes. She knows the inventory incredibly well(especially impressive since it changes by the day) — for instance, last time I was there, I was looking for dress pants to wear to work, tried on a pair that fit perfectly, and she said«that same lady also brought in these» and handed me a pair of pants that also fit perfectly — from some fancy Italian designer I had never heard of –and they were priced at $ 15. The store gets full, so often they have a stack of $ 5 shirts and I’ve gotten some killer deals from places like Black & White.
