I used to go to school on this street and I was walking to my car when I saw this place tucked away next to A&M. It’s visible from the street in the back(Main St., I think?) and it’s absolutely gorgeous! Beautiful water pillars, lakes with shooting fountains, and a woven-grass covered seating area adds up to a park that is an AMAZING place for photoshoots! Sure it’s a bit small, but it makes up for it in sheer beauty! You will not be disappointed in this hidden gem.

Sweet waterfall pillars! Stayed in hotel for a month, went running every once in awhile, I passed these for like a week before I realized they were WATERMAGICALPILLARS!!! They are really cool and I have never seen anything like them! If your Houston Medical district, just drive by, or get out and go check them out.

Like David I did not know this park existed. If you’re nearby and want to explore another piece of the city then this park has your name on it. Otherwise it’s just another thing in the city that family has stamped their name all over, like cowboys used to do with cattle brands back in ye olden days.

Another one of Houston’s beauty that probably no one even knows about. Well I am here to inform you about it since I’ve been working in the area for almost 2 years and never noticed it myself. However, recently I was looking for a place to eat and noticed this across the street. So I decided to look for parking and check this place out. There was no designated parking for this place that I could find so I just parked on the street in the back and walked on over. This place is beautiful. There are plenty of benches and shaded covering so you can sit and relax out here. While I was out exploring I noticed there was a professional photographer taking portraits for another woman. Definitely a hidden gem.
