Guitar Center

A guitar center with competent help? Oh yeah, ask for Chris — he’ll get you everything you need quickly and efficiently. Got in got everything we needed for an AV setup in under 10 minutes flat from entering to leaving, this guy is a pro, or at the very least knows his stuff and is on his «A» game. Got us a fine deal on mic’s, a mixer, and stands, I paid way too much for cabling but that’s where they make their money on accessories. Seriously if I do go back, I may mention to the manager this guy is good and should be promoted, not your normal Wayne and Garth guitar center employee. My experience was good, the store is clean and somewhat well laid out, they don’t carry nearly enough pro audio and synthesizers, but again check the name this is guitar center which is run by the overlords of greed Bane capital, yuck. So all in all, was a great experience, and left pleasantly surprised and with better than anticipated gear. Thanks Sir, kudos for taking such excellent care of us.

I’m not really hating on the place, it was just kinda meh. I bought my guitar from a store in Dallas and was just browsing this store one day because I was in the area. I looked at more guitars and guitar strings and browsed the rest of the store for about 10 minutes but didn’t buy anything. When I go to stores, honestly I actually hate it when salemen approach me (like Best Buy) and I typically just wanna browse and do my thing but when I think of Guitar Center, somehow I keep thinking it’s kinda like a unique specialty kinda place and the staff there aren’t so much salemen as they are guides to stuff many people may not know a whole ton about. I didn’t think much about it at the time and I wasn’t exactly going there to talk to people but I think in the entire 15 – 20 minutes I spent there browsing and staring at products and going over the guitar strings, not a single person came to ask if I needed help. Again, I wasn’t looking to buy anything but if I HAD been, I wish someone woulda come up and asked if I needed help being explained something cuz honestly I did stand at some sections for like 5 minutes reading and rereading boxes and labels. #newbalert

My first trip into the new Guitar Center was great! The staff was very helpful and friendly. The store is very clean and also cool. Everything is separated into clearly marked sections and I was able to find exactly what I needed, a Ukulele case. I will be returning soon for some more gear!

Best place for all music needs. I like to play the keyboards and pianos there. I will try not to go to much but I cant help it.
