Quick line, in and out, awesome coke machine, you want Coca Cola … Cherry, Vanilla, zero, diet, blueberry, raspberry haha you name it ! The CHEESEBURGER is Delish. Nice and smoky, a legit cheeseburger! The fries are amazing with Cajun seasoning if you like spicy food ! Yum! If you dine in, make sure you get a scoop of peanuts as an appetizer before the meal, and feel free to throw the shells on the ground !!!

I was a bit skeptical about coming here after seeing some of the reviews. It took me a couple of months, but finally I found myself at the register placing an order. My first impression upon walking in was that the décor was extremely cheap. It was a big open space with a bunch of plastic tables and chairs placed in no order. There was no ambient lighting or décor, etc. Oh well. There was a bunch of peanuts people spit on the floor which was kind of disturbing, especially being in dress shoes over $ 300. Apparently, you are free to eat peanuts and spit the discards on the floor. Its their«thing». I ordered a junior cheeseburger and fries to-go(I sure wasn’t eating in that restaurant) and it came to me in a brown paper sack that had grease already seeping through the bag. The lady at the register and the guy whom made my food looked very scary. They were middle-aged and extremely ghetto. It made the place seen even more cheap. I looked inside the bag and the grease was from the fries. They just throw a ton of fries in the bottom of the bag and place the burger wrapped in foil on top. After receiving food in that condition, I decided not to eat it. I left it in my refrigerator in case I changed my mind later. Three bud lights later, I changed my mind. I ate about half the burger and a quarter of the fries before I decided I didn’t like it. I was disappointed because I wasted $ 10 on food that was terrible.

Best burgers and seasoned fries in town. Fast fresh of grill. Great vibes the minute you walk in, you are greeted with smiles. Stop by.

I had what they call«Viggie Sandwich» and was extremely disappointed!!! The thing was literally chopped vegetables in buns and nothing else! Heck not even any kind of souce what so ever! Nothing! I am shocked that they are selling us these things for almost $ 4! Not happy and feel cheated

I went to try another burger joint in town and was not impressed. Felt like I paid too much for an OK burger that wasn’t very big. The friend I was with compared it to Burger King size wise. Service was so so but there’s never a problem finding parking. I did love the fries though… They were delicious and there was a lot of them.

Food is always solid but the service is abysmal. There is no point in ordering ahead. Everytime I have they don’t even start on the order until after I arrive. Complete apathy from the staff.

Seriously this place has the Best fries around! And, they have malt vinegar too. Being from Ohio, fries with light salt, ketchup, and a sprinkling of malt vinegar is the way to go. It’s not a condiment I’ve seen too often here in Houston so when I see it someplace, I always eat it. The fries are served in a heaping cup within a good, old-fashioned paper bag. Yes. The hot grease soaks through a bit but it’s totally ok with me. I love how the burgers and fries are made fresh to order. Being able to customize the burger to fit your taste is always appreciated. I really like how there are two sized options, regular(2 patties) and kiddie(1 patty). Still on the pro-customization kick, the drink machine has loads of options. Today I made a grape Sprite, another childhood throw-back. Hmmm…when I walked in for lunch today I did not expect to take a culinary trip down memory lane!

Best burger and fries ever!!! The menu is very straight forward and so if you don’t know what you like on your burger you can end up messing it up… That’s my only explanation for the bad reviews. I’ve been going to this location for more than 2 years and the staff is very nice and kind and the burgers are made perfectly!

Rude employees. All they do is laugh at all customers and think they’re bad ass. Not a friendly place to eat at.

What an extremely overpriced bag of grease. I know burgers and fries are not exactly salad but the bag was soaking through with grease as they’re handing it to you. Also drinks and fries are a la carte and together cost as much as the burger. $ 13 for a meal at a CHAIN burger place is ridiculous.

Extremely disappointing after all the hype. Long wait when place was empty. Dry bun and heavy no flavor patties. Could not get past the terrible untoasted bun. Lots of fries but bad seasoning and expected More from $ 7 burger. Thumbs down.

This is a great burger. And a magic drink machine — how long until Root Beer And Mello Yellow Grape megamix becomes a smash hit? Burger is pretty much up to Shake Shack standard — only downer is the lack of milkshake. Oh and the fries could have been crispier for my tastes.

Yum, solid burger, though not competitive with some of the other burger joints I have tried in Houston. Smashburger has the edge here. Either the quality or the hype has died down a bit. The cajun fries still taste pretty decent, but Five Guys is not the same stellar burger joint once celebrated in 2009. The topping here are free(bonus), but they do not have anything but American cheese, and they do not have avocados. Something has changed – maybe the competition got more um, competitive. I always crave Smashburger. I never crave Five Guys.

One of the worst five guys I have ever been too. My order was wrong as for the other person I was with. Then I only had half of a patty on my burger.

I might be the only human being alive that prefers Smashburger over 5 Guys! Don’t get me wrong, it was excellent! I think the hype got my hopes up too high. ;)

Good fries! I’m not much of a burger person but the fries are hearty and the Cajun seasoning that is optional is really a good touch. I also like the option of having vinegar as a garnish. It goes great with their fries! So delicious. Reason why I give 4⁄5 stars is because of the prices. It’s a little bit more expensive than your average burger joint.

The Christmas spirit was really ringing loud in 5 guys this afternoon!!! Everyone was so friendly and they have one of those cool new coke machines with the touch screens now! I got a burger and Cajun fries, you’d be a big idiot to not gat Cajun fries.

My go to spot when I’m craving a burger, or even just fries… Cajun fries that is! The burgers are not cheap but they are very worth it…

First timers: If you don’t want a double patty burger, make sure to order ‘little burger’ it comes with one patty. The first time I went to five guys years ago when it fist opened on –10 bunker hill. It was ok to me, nothing that caught my attention. I was craving for a burger so bad & it was one long kind of a day for me at work. I just wanted to indulge a burger, go home to chillax, & call it a day. The closest burger spot for me was five guys, smash burger(eww), and of course fast food joints. Recently, I read how McDonald’s patties were 20% real beef? So I can’t myself eating at McDonald’s except for their French fries for now. So five guys it is. It was 6:30. The place looks really cleaned to me. I like how they have a sign where they get their potatoes from for the day. I got a cheeseburger. They don’t grill or heat their buns. I like how it’s naturally steamed when its wrapped in the foil. When I got home to eat it it was tasteful. The buns were nice & soft with a juicy patty. However my fries was no bueno. Even though its fresh cut fries, I’m not a fan of the the texture nor seasoning. I feel like its still raw or the heat is on too high. It’s not crispy. Not a gourmet burger, but not bad for a burger on the go.

Had to check it out while in Texas. Beef is good but buns are soggy. I like In-n-Out better.
