Extremely delicious! The fajitas were so juicy and tender. Chips and salsa also amazing. Great price for so much food. Wished we lived closer to have delivery!

I’m usually pretty picky on fajitas so I don’t usually turn away from my usual(lupes), but we picked up some of these on the way home and they are a bargain. Bang for Buck these are some really good fajitas. Beef was little better than chicken. They are generous with fixings.

My coworkers and I went here for lunch and didn’t get a single thing. Why not? Because as we were waiting for our food and watching our food being made in the open kitchen, we saw that the cooking crew were not wearing gloves. Now this wouldn’t be that big of a problem, we even came to the agreement that assuming they wash their hands, we would still probably eat the food. It was when we saw one woman lick her fingers to get a hold of a plastic bag that we were disgusted. We stood there for a minute staring to see if she would at least wash her hands before handling any more food but nope, just moved onto the next meal. My coworker confronted the cashier about the issue and he told the kitchen staff to put on gloves, which they did. He was very apologetic(to be expected) and refunded all of our money as an apology. He asked if we wanted our food remade but after the whole debacle, I couldn’t stomach the thought of eating their food even if it was safely prepared. We just left and got food somewhere else. The only good thing about this place is that one cashier but customer service can’t forgive basic food safety violations.

Superb fajitas. Meat is well-flavored and very tasty. We pick up fajitas here twice a month due to the high quality and location. They are primarily a catering business so their pick-up is very efficient. Décor for dining in is minimal. Tortillas are handmade and above average. Second best fajitas in Houston after Lupe Tortilla, which is saying a lot given all the amazing fajitas in town.

Had fajita Pete’s catered to me many times… I was never disappointed. The beef and chicken were always so flavorful. The sauce took the meal to a new level of deliciousness. Will return to eat at Pete’s whenever I get a chance!

We found this place a few months ago and couldn’t be happier. We usually get a pound of fajitas and have leftovers between two people. They are very generous with the food, quick service and everyone is always really nice.

I found this place almost 3 years ago. They are always friendly. My fav is the fajitas. I live in cypress and I drive here to eat, that should speak volumes. I introduced my brother & hubby to this place and they killed there food and just smiled.

We order from Fajita Pete’s quite regularly — a pound of mixed fajitas with sides feeds the two of us for two or three meals. I particularly love their handmade flour tortillas; stretchy and flavorful, with great texture. Occasionally we branch out from fajitas and enjoy a relleno or just a grilled chicken breast with their excellent marinade, and poblanos on top. Be prepared to wait a bit on the phone, though, and to speak up – it’s always a madhouse in there!

Bad chips and salsa. My chicken enchiladas were cold the service was bad. $ 10 down the drain

Quick tips: Make an easy choice and order the restaurant’s namesake item — fajitas. Menu prices have gone up from what is currently on their website. All in all prices aren’t that cheap $ 15 for half order of chicken fajitas, but it comes with rice, beans, guacamole, cheese and pico. Food: The chicken fajita meat is the best part of this place. Queso is not good and a bit watery. However, if you are a cheese lover like me and must have queso, order a small queso which is 3.50 instead of the half order which is around 5.50. Service: Fast really friendly service. Ambiance: Casual and small dining area. One thing that really irritated me and I almost knocked a star is all the disposable dishes. All the food came in disposable bowls and cups and we ate with disposable silverware and plates. To top it off — styrofoam cups. I almost felt embarrassed carrying my styrofoam cup in the whole foods next door for fear of the judging eyes.

Got delivery. It took over an hour for order of two dishes & guac, and despite being assured that they’d have a machine to take credit card, the man delivering said he didn’t have a machine. Food was great, though. A bit on the salty side. As others have pointed out, the guac is amazing. Points off for service.

Definitely recommend. This place is around the corner so I was able to walk to it. I have passed it a million times and never visited. I’m glad I did. Not very big in the inside designed for delivery. However, there are a few tables you can sit and dine. It is a byob so that is also all good! I had the steak enchiladas and beef fajitas to go. Both were excellent, very good and I would order again. I did dine in and the service was quick and good.

Have used the Bellaire location several times for catering large groups– good food at reasonable price. Easy to order online and pick up or delivery.

I may have found a new top 10 place in Houston. Key Attributes: 1) Great Food 2) Cheap 3) BYOB(free with food purchase, but would people really just go in and drink) 4) Great Service Because of all the reasons above I really like this place. Everything about their beef fajitas are great. When you eat there at 5 table dine in portion they bring you would food and chips like a normal restaurant. They bring you cups if you enjoying a brought in beverage so you feel real classy drinking wine out of a Styrofoam cup in my wife’s case. I just bring bottled beer. The people who work there are super friendly. For two people the ½ pound is plenty(after cooking weight). As the price of our dinner was like $ 20 and all of the great service and BYOB I end up giving a much bigger tip. which still makes dinner really cheap. Note: You can go grab a bottle of wine or some beer at the Whole Foods next door.

Great for take out fajitas. When we have friends visiting from out of town we order up some take out fajitas. Guac is great. Queso dip is amazing. Great for game time watching at home as well.

The chicken quesadilla is delicious, but beware, the price went up 20 percent. It’s not like it went up five or 10 percent but 20. The half order is now $ 6. Their corn tortillas are homemade. These will take longer to cook as the tortilla is thicker. I just hope my favorite dish there doesn’t continue to climb in price.

This place is LEGIT. In a city with plenty of authentic Tex-Mex, Fajita Pete’s is way up on my imaginary list. The storefront is kind of unassuming on the outside with very little seating inside(I’d guess most of their business is from catering/delivery), but customer service is very friendly and the store itself is very clean. It’s also located in a great area, being next to a Whole Foods. The food is DELICIOUS. I had both chicken and beef tacos and the meat was among the most flavorful and savory I have ever had. Prices aren’t necessarily dirt cheap, but they are very reasonable for the price you pay. Oftentimes since Tex-Mex isn’t the healthiest thing ever, I may feel kind of disgusting after eating it — not so here! The ingredients(e.g. lettuce and tomatoes) taste incredibly fresh, so my meal was extremely satisfying. I will absolutely be sure to recommend this place to others and will keep Fajita Pete’s in mind next time I am looking for catering places!

It’s a small, local place where the food comes out fast, but the tables are limited. I think this gets most of its money from takeout and catering. Chips are warm & toasty. Salsa is warm as well & very heavy on the tomatoes — could be better Ordered half pound of fajitas and it was very easily shared with another person plus had leftovers. Their tortillas are the best. Very fresh and thin, but sturdy enough to hold things. Meat is average — flavor could be better, chicken could be less dry Sides are just ok — rice, beans, guac, lettuce, onions

So after reading great reviews all year, we finally decided to try this place out. Don’t be scared away from the small, boring, shopping mall exterior(a couple actually walked in, looked disappointed and confused, then walked out while we were eating) because their flavorful fajitas, perfect fresh and hot tortillas, super affordable menu and AWESOME Salsa will more than makes up for it!!! And friendly and quick service too :) Also note worthy… I couldn’t count the amount of people that came and picked up to go orders /delivery guy leaving with orders while we ate there. So that many people can’t be wrong, I will def be going back. So why the 4 star review? Unfortunately not a fan of their queso & guac. I also wish they could start serving beer/margaritas because let’s face it… mexican food is ALWAYS better when u have an ice cold cervaza in hand ;)
