Eye trends on Westheimer is really great! They brought me back as soon as I walked in, no wait time. The techs were very nice and thorough and Dr. Hoang was very nice and made me feel relaxed and comfortable. After my eye exam they were very patient with me, helping me try on and pick my new frames. Very good customer service and patient care! And also excellent selection of frames.

Very very disappointed I went here because it is very close to my job and then I also had a review from a co-​worker. I had an appointment on a Tuesday, the staff was ok the appointment did go faster then expected I received contacts at the end of the visit some that she recommended and I went home the contacts were really really irritating I took them out and woke up to a completely swollen right eye I called them to go in there before work and they have no doctor available! Then they tried to schedule me for a day later which did not help we tried to call another location off Town and Country and they didn’t have a doctor either, so why are they even open on a Wednesday is what I’m wondering. Now if I want to go to a doctor I will get charged a copay which is not fair. The staff was very useless they did not give me any suggestions or solution to at the least clean my eye. So now I can barely see there is a grey spot in my eye and there is nothing they can do until the next day. I am very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend going there in general. And you definitely can’t go on a Wednesday no one will be there to help you.

I absolutely love Dr. H! She is very honest, which I appreciate. She doesn’t try to sell you stuff, she just generally cares about you and your vision. She is a wonderful Doctor!!!

Although this place is really far from where I live, I wouldn’t mind coming back here for a second appointment. One of the first reasons why I came here was for their selection of frames. My insurance fenced off a lot of places that carried nice frames like Pearle Vision and Lense Crafters. Eye Trends was one that was accepted and they carried brand names ranging from Ray-​ban, A&X, Burberry, Gucci, Oakleys, etc. Even better is if they don’t carry the frame you want then you can request them to order it in for you so your insurance can pay for them. No more Walmart type frames for you. The only drawback is that there will be no refund if you opt for that choice.
The doctor I had obtained her degree from University of Houston which has a great Optometry program. She was friendly and explained to me all the questions I had.
