Being in need of window treatment, I had looked far and wide for customized jobs for our windows. Reading the two excellent reviews, I had called and visited their store. Michael, the owner, was initially very friendly and explained to me (perhaps too much in detail) of all of the jobs that they do. He does not speak English fluently, but recently being an immigrant to the U.S. myself I laud him for learning a new language and opening up a business in a foreign country.
However this review is about the service. So here goes. I don’t know when it went sour, but perhaps when I borrowed a book from them unknowingly on my part how important it was for their business, I guess that was the starting point.
Michael was definitely not shy about texting, he had texted me multiple times asking for the book back when I initially told him the weekend is the only time I could go back to his store and deliver it to him (I guess he had new appointments set up during this time and wanted all of his resources including the one book). I repeated each time that his store is far from home and I would only be able to deliver on Saturday in the afternoon and to please stop texting me about it. He replied he was doing me a favor and that I should not be «complaining.» Talk about customer service!
He and his wife were nice enough to come out to our home and to a consultation, but during it, it got too wordy with his broken English and I had a hard time understanding and with him repeating over and over that this job is too hard (to his credit, our house is more modern and may not have the traditional house look, but he’s the professional here!)
By the end of the appointment I was begging him to stop saying «no» to my requests, but present me with alternate solutions that would meet my window needs!
I am giving him two stars in all honesty, I think him and his wife are probably nice people. But at the end of the day, I’m requiring a service and I’m paying you. I should not have to 1) beg him to be professional and tell me what alternate solutions he can present to me with my window needs 2) ask him to stop pestering me on a book (is it fair to say if it was that important to him, he should not have lent it to me in the first place or at least come off with a warning that he would need this book very badly for his upcoming appointments)
All around a waste of my time. Unless you know EXACTLY what you want and have the time to drive to his shop every now and then, go with somebody else that is more professional and is better communicating.

This is a Mom and Pop shop and the couples are both experts in drapery and anything curtain related. We hired them to help us install a set of tall curtains and valance for our two storage house, and their professional services went way beyond our expectations. They provided professional suggestions to our curtains and helped make adjustments, they made accurate measurements to our windows before installation, and Michael made sure the valance was centered to the middle without 1 inch of mistake. Also they quoted very reasonable price, when we went to their store for the free consultation, they provided very transparent quoting which was broken down into unit material price and labor by hours, I love how they have no hidden fees at all throughout the whole process. We highly recommend Elegantouch Drapery to anyone who wants professional curtain services!

We are glad we have Mr. Hu to help us with our new drapery. They work 7 days a week to make sure they have their works perfectly done and make customers satisfied. They are very detailed and always treat us with respects. Plus their quality works and competitive prices! My husband and I are very happy with the result. Strongly recommend!
