Today’s experience was much better with customer services. The associate Alexander was very helpful. We tried the large carne guisada which was filling and delicious, a favorite per the associate and I agree. We also had the turkey spinach lasagna which was okay. We had the Bruschetta Chicken which was very tasty. The cilantro pesto pasta that wasn’t as good but I think it’s because the pasta was whole wheat which I am not used to. We also had the thai basil chicken which was okay. We had the Eatfitters Chili which was very good.

I have been going to Eatfitters since January of this year and have been very satisfied with this establishment. The staff can be inconsistent, but that really doesn’t bother me as I have always gotten the help I needed/inquiries answered. Eatfitters has a very wide array of healthy delicious food that satisfies whatever craving I am suffering from. I feel as if the quality of ingredients used at Eatfitters is BETTER than and surpasses My Fit Foods. I love the convenience and parking at the Kingsride location and especially appreciate that pamphlets on the background of the ingredients used is readily available. I am very particular about which organizations I give my hard earned money to and will continue to give my business to Eatfitters. However, on a couple of occasions I have found that the nutritional facts listed on the label were incorrect.(Fat+Carbs+Protein did NOT equal calories by a large variance). A wider variety in menu and possibly lower pricing(although I’m sure that’s not possible considering their profit margins, etc.) or sales/specials would be appreciated. I am far from earning enough«Belly» points for a worthwhile trade-in so I cannot provide a review on that. Should my opinion change in the future I will be sure to post an update. –AV

Louetta location is not well stocked. Choices are sparse if you are walking-in. Had to place an order for salad options, I was told would arrive later that day. Called the following day and the order has not yet been fulfilled.

Was in here the other day, the inside is very clean and nice by the outside loojs odd things but i have to say that it is very expensive for what it is. Plus… surprise surprise! Mold in salads!!! Plus my chicken want even cooked all the way through! Joyous to me for the lovely surprises that I paid so much for!!! @___@ The food is not that creative or different enough for me to want to go out and buy a small thing that doesn’t fill me with the nutrients that I need anyways. I forgot my lunchbox of preped meals and thought I would grab something from here. I was so sad because i can make sooo much more for the price at home, and irs not like im wealthy. :(:(:( I am a very fit individual and I can make better and more nutritious food than what I got here. I know not everyone knows how to cook or has time, but loosing weight or getting fit takes time and discipline, buying it won’t get you very far! You would have to buy these mini meals for a lifetime if you wanted to stay the way you have progressed so unless you are a millionare, that doesn’t serm realistic. Pkus, if you WERE a millionare, I would rather have my own personal nutritionist chef!!! :D So just learn how to cook a little bit, the stuff that keeps you lean really isn’t hard to make at all!!! Its the simplest of foods that nature gave to you! Google how to cook it! It really isnt as hard as you think! :) You can thank me for your bank account later! ;)

Finally visited this health food store. They have a great variety of food and snacks. Very few gluten free options but not certified. So of Celiac DONOTEATHERE! I tried the Baja Fish Tacos. You get 2 for about $ 9.00. A limitless pricey for medium size lunch but they are delicious. I can make these at home, I’ll have to see how much it’ll cost me at home. Overall very friendly staff and very knowledgeable.

Healthy food in grab and go format that actually tastes good! My husband and I got and split two dishes for our 1st trial run. We had Salmon Piccata and Cilantro Pesto Pasta. The salmon was moist and flavorful — really quite amazing to do with fish that you microwave at home. The Pasta had a lot of chicken it and a good flavor. We like that the focus is on healthy — low sodium as well as low fat, etc. The guy who helped me choose my entrees mentioned that they have a «skinny» line that is similar to Paleo with a focus on vegetables as the only carb source, I will have to give that a try when we go back. Oh, and we also had a Trail Mix cookie which was really yummy!

I’ve been a fairly regular customer at My Fit Foods, and overall I find their food to be excellent — with a few exceptions. But you know, the same stuff gets boring after awhile. So when I saw the Eatfitters shop near Memorial City I thought I’d give them a three-day try-out. Well, it wasn’t terrible, but the food clearly doesn’t measure up in freshness or flavor, and the choices were not nearly as broad as what you can get at MFF. For example, a greek salad that I brought home was, within a day, a tad on the wilted side(it was within the recommended expiration date). A piece of salmon I ate was overcooked. The vegetables that came with all the meals were essentially unseasoned. When I was there at the store, the shelves were at best 1⁄3 full. There weren’t a lot of choices, at least not as compared to MFF. Maybe I picked a bad day, or maybe the supply truck unloaded all the good stuff 10 minutes after I left the store, but overall there wasn’t that much to choose from. I would say at MFF there are some 10 – 12 breakfasts, 10 – 12 lunches, and 10 – 12 dinners to choose from. Eatfitters had roughly half of the choices. There are four things that make food taste good, and three of them are unhealthy if overdone: fat, sugar, salt. The fourth is spice/heat. MFF knows that in order to make healthy food interesting, it needs to be spicy. Eatfitters hasn’t learned this lesson. I didn’t find mold, or have a bad customer service experience, as some other reviewers have suggested … I just didn’t find the product to be anywhere near as well conceived or as well executed, despite the fact that I was paying approximately the same amount for a weekend worth of food. I hope it gets better. I’d like to see more options in the healthy non-frozen pre-prepared food space. But Eatfitters has a ways to go to be competitive with MFF.

We became patrons of this establishment a couple years ago and were big fans of the staff at their original location off Memorial Drive. I purchased the 21 day challenge and completed it with some success — not many lbs lost but also none gained and with better energy levels than was my usual. It truly was a convenient and more healthy alternative for our quick paced lifestyles. I was part of their«elite» patron group — or something like that, which meant that I started on their 21 day challenge that included a nutritional consultation and a hefty purchase up front followed by continued purchases of their meals. I lost count of how much I spent purchasing their products and re-filling my elite account, but I always felt it money well spent. Time passed and a few life changes later I was not as frequent with my orders or visits. Fast forward several months and my husband and I decided to each purchase Groupons to get back on track. They had a great special and I bought two $ 75($ 150 total) Groupons for myself and my husband bought two $ 150 for him($ 300 total). At that time, their business was called Eat Fit For Life — not sure what caused the name change though I have my suspicions). After some time passed we had not placed any orders and we went back to the store to talk to them about my account balance and the Groupons we’d purchased. Nearing their expiration, the staff was kind enough to suggest that we put those credits on their own Eat Fit Gift Cards. I wish to God I had saved those receipts. Because as of today(in spite of Texas Law) they have told us that our gift cards have ZERO value. Their grand total in my account that«was transferred over» after the name change was less than $ 15(fifteen dollars). We went to their newest location off Kingsride since it is closer to our home and we could not be more sorry. It was such an awful confrontation by the owner, Sam, that I honestly would never want to put another piece of their food in my mouth. He screamed at my husband and I while his store manager stood there with a look of awe. Sam got in my face and said«where did you get these?» in such an accusatory tone, then said the people I described were never his employees. These were people that I had seen and talked to on numerous occasions, one of which was his wife(I want to say her name was Lena?) who was always polite and professional. I often saw her there helping out. But there was no reasoning with this man and I now have such a bitter taste that I would NEVER recommend anyone step foot in their stores, much less purchase their products. The manner in which we were treated today made us feel utterly sick to our stomachs. Customer service has absolutely no meaning to this man. He is belligerent and confrontational and just the worst kind of human being, let alone business owner. DONOT patronize this establishment. But if you do, BEWARE and always take and save your receipt.

I was considering doing their 21 day program, so me and my fiancé went a couple of times to try their food. the 2nd time we picked up a breakfast, lunch and dinner. for breakfast we chose their breakfast burrito, and so this morning i decided to try it out. i noticed it had some cilantro inside of it so i unwrapped it and was going to try to take out some of it, when i noticed something purple on the bottom of the burrito filling. when i looked closer, i realized it was a BIG blob of purple mold! it was disgusting. i checked the expiration date and it didn’t expire for another 2 days. i will never eat here again.

I tried the lasagna and it was excellent. Very nice atmosphere and friendly people. If you’re looking to eat healthy, this is the place. You can take your food togo, or sit and eat there. They have a nice patio outside if you want to enjoy the weather.
