Delta Towing and Roadside Assistance

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. We as customers are already in a stressful situation if we are calling a tow truck. When they where the only trucks available I should have known better. I talked to «Jo» which seems from his condescending tone he wasn’t telling the truth. They are not set about there prices not do they communicate effectively with the driver. Jo (the delta clerk) told me I was being charged $ 55 for a service charge (just for calling), all miles after 10 miles is $ 3 a mile and a basic to is $ 55-​$ 65.
Driver shows up and hooks with car in air in less than 2 min and used 1 strap to secure car. (Seems basic to me)
I was charged $ 75 + $ 3 per mile ($ 54) + additional service fee $ 55
After we focused a $ 80 tow I paid over $ 200
When I called Jo back he couldn’t explain what service fee covers besides a phone call nor what’s a basic tow. Then concluded by telling me to call the driver to figure out the issue.
THE WORST!
If you read this more than likely your upset it’s already to late you just confirming it wasn’t you.

I called and asked for Road Side Assistance and spoke with an Jose. Had car troubles and needed major assistance — at that point I was fearing for my safety. He told me that he was not that concerned and didn’t want to put his drivers in harms way. No assistant was given and was very disappointed… being that I could of been majorly injured.

Absolutely awful. Was told the driver would call me within ten minutes of making the initial call. Driver didn’t call for thirty minutes and said he wouldn’t be able to arrive for another 30. Time was an issue since I broke down headed to work. They said that as long as their driver had made the call then a 55 dollar service fee was non refundable regardless if they picked up the car or not (which they didn’t). Someone else picked me up to take me to work and another tow service picked up my car before this one got there. So this place ended up costing me well over 300 dollars because they can’t do their job. Don’t tell me you are going to do something and then do something else. Poorly run business and awful customer service when calling to question the 55 dollar non refundable fee even though they didn’t hold up their end of the bargain. Would rather push my car during rush hour than call this place again.

Called to see if they serviced private properties, the person who answered was confused, said no and abruptly hung up. Great business practice.
