Gate agents here need a serious lesson in a proper attitude. I finished up my business in town a little early and arrived to the airport to find another flight out of town an hour early. The gate agent informed me that there were seats but said I had to pay a $ 50 fee to get on the earlier flight. So now I get to sit at the gate and watch empty seats leave on the airplane because of some bogus fee. This terrible customer service is why the airlines have a terrible reputation. They try to nickel and dime every chance they can with their customers.

I was just dropping off. But, they seem to try a little harder at Hobby. It was an international flight. Bags checked efficiently and ticket confirmed and off to Spain. Pretty easy to get in and out.
