Dang, this guy is great! We wanted to replace a clunky old home-​security system from the last major provider left in the marketplace, and based on the two positive Unilocal reviews, we called Sergio with Centerpoint Security Group. And were we ever glad we did! I had warned him that the house is kind of quirky, and his immediate response was a genial, «I like a challenge.» When he arrived, he took a brief look around, declared it not really a tough job, and offered to put it all together that same day. It didn’t take him more than a couple of hours to install the system, and all we paid him was $ 40 for the first month of monitoring through Vector, his preferred monitoring service.
The real test came a couple days after installation, when the central control unit suddenly flipped out and lost its connection to the sensors. (Note that this is NOT anything Sergio had any control over: he gets the equipment from a separate supplier.) Swear on a stack o’ scripture that Sergio came out to the house after nine o’clock on a Sunday night to disconnect the malfunctioning control unit. He was right back the next day with a new one, and sat outside in his truck for half an hour after the installation, monitoring the new unit for screwups. Not one dime did he charge us for any of this.
The repaired system is working like a dream, and we did some testing with the monitoring company this weekend, followed by our first real-​world use. These systems are immensely sophisticated; they run themselves and won’t quit under all manner of disaster. Vector is conscientious and quick, and we just can’t say enough good things about Sergio’s expert, conscientious approach to his work. Thanks, Sergio, you’ve made us feel a lot more secure!

We had signed up with a different security company and when the installer got to our home realized he could not do the job. So the salesman called Sergio Rivera with Centerpoint Security Group and he arrived in no time. It took him all day to install only because he was making much of our current equipment work with his new system. He was courteous, kind and told us what was happening the entire time. I’m sure many other installers would have quit in the middle and rescheduled for a different day but Sergio stuck it out and so far so good. I would defiantly recommend Sergio to a friend.
