Cartier is an amazing jewelry store, and i love the staff(including security). I don’t know what other people think about Cartier, but i know that if you want high quality jewelry, then you should definitely go to Cartier. I especially love how beautiful boutique is.

Took my watch in for minor repairs several months ago – extremely slow service. When I called to check on the watch, the service/repairs line would never answer. Only the sales line ever seems to answer the phone!!! And I have experienced this several times! Finally when my watch was said to be ready, it was horribly scratched on the back, and the alligator band looked ruined. Of course the store denies they damaged the watch but either they caused the damage or their agent repairing the watch did it. This store is horrible for any jewelry store and especially for one claiming to be top of the line.

First, before I review the lackluster service at this location, I do want to acknowledge that this store is absolutely beautiful. The space is gorgeous and a huge improvement from the galleria location. Parking is also super convenient. The security staff were wonderful and were more«friendly» then the actual salespeople. I went into this store today wanting to size a watch and fix the links on another watch. The sales staff were fine and directed us to the service area. The one individual in charge of service was busy with another customer. This was fine; we waited patiently on the couch in the service room for him to finish. Well, we waited thirty minutes for him and his customer to casually chat about their love for Las Vegas, without an even small acknowledgement that we were there waiting on him to finish. A third customer came in with a question regarding her warranty and was immediately helped. Forty minutes into when we arrived and we were not even checked on and our presence was completely ignored. Not what would be expected of a high end store. We just left the store and went to Tourneau in the Galleria instead. I would rather pay to have my watch serviced than come here again.

I am not reviewing the service here(although I thought they were snooty). I am reviewing the quality of my Cartier watch. I have owned my watch for about 8 yrs now and have had my battery changed 4 times. Every other time I take it in for a simple battery change, they tell me that my watch needs a complete movement repair which costs over $ 500 each time(and I had to do this twice!!). When I spoke to their rep, they said this is normal wear and tear and I am starting to distrust what they are telling me. Why would I pay over $ 7000 for a watch that I would have to keep repairing every other battery change??? Either they are not being honest, or the quality of the watch itself or the workmanship is faulty. I wish that I had not gotten this brand. I don’t even wear my Cartier that much, in fact I have 2 other watches that I wear more often. Would not recommend this brand for watches.

I wrote a review about the very poor service I received when trying to get my pen repaired. While I got NO satisfaction from the store in Houston I was contacted by management from New York. They investigated my concerns and I got a call back from them about two weeks ago. I was told that the manager of the Cartier Houston store would be calling me to make arrangements to replace my writing instrument. Two weeks have now gone by and I have yet to hear from the manager of the Houston store. The level of arrogance and poor customer service at this location can simply not be described. If this is rhe best Cartier has to offer then count me out. There is no point in doing business with people who have no desire to respond to customers. What a horrible place and what a horrible example the manager of this store sets for its employees. Essentially customers don’t matter!

In the 30 years that I have been a customer of Cartier, I have never had the bad service that I received today. I walked into the store at 4:45 with 3 watches that needed servicing. There was a nicely dressed man, sitting at a desk, helping a young couple. Besides them and the two security guards, there was no one else in the store. After I stood awkwardly in the middle of the store, hoping someone would appear or that I would be acknowledged by the man, I proceeded to sit on a chaise lounge in the middle of the store, to wait. After 10 minutes or so(with nothing being said to me) I asked the man if anyone else could help me. He said they were busy. That was it! I sat there for another 15 minutes until he was finished with his customers. So here I am, 30 minutes in this beautiful store, being totally ignored and treated as an inconvenience. When he finally said«and what may I do for you?» I asked him to please go find somebody else to help me. Magically, a nice young woman appeared from the back to help me. It was such a display of bad manners and completely unprofessional by this employee.

I was contacted by an employee of Cartier shortly after posting my original review. The lady I spoke with was very kind and wanted for me to share my experience with her, which I appreciated. I explained the situation and my disappointment with the service I had previously received. She informed me that I should have never been told there would be a charge for the repairs needed. She also said that they would contact me either that Friday or the next Monday, which is when my bracelet was to arrive and that they would actually send my bracelet to me. That Monday came, and after work I called them myself and they let me know my bracelet was ready to be picked up. I appreciate that Cartier reached out to me.

The Director was very rude on the phone. I called about my watch being serviced. The Cartier«service» on your watch is $ 500. I am happy to pay, but really just wanted someone at Cartier to also listen to my concerns around the functioning of my watch since I purchased it. The Director just wanted me to confirm my payment, couldn’t care less about what I had to say. The Director kept reiterating what was already told to me, without really listening to me, whatsoever. For luxury sales, the listening skills are lacking. I will never make a purchase from the Houston store. They are happy to sell, but the follow-up is absolutely unacceptable. Go to a Saks to purchase your Cartier items, the Houston Cartier boutique is an abomination to the Cartier brand.

Always great customer service and the store director is lovely to interact with. I appreciate their commitment to provide top notch service and beautiful jewelry!!! I really enjoy their new store but most of all, the ease of parking!!! Parking was the only thing I dreaded about the boutique when it was in the mall. But with the parking problem solved, it’s a stress free drive and visit to this new location!
