When you’re in a pinch and need the perfect beverage for a special occasion, Cadillac has your back.

What a creepy little store! It is kinda clean but the guy that works there is blunt and rude. Needs to learn basic customer service!

Fast, cheap and not terribly dirty. Screw the naysayers here, they’re probably just scared generally of the area, but whatever, when you need booze you’ll goto some weird places. While Cadillac doesn’t have the widest selection, I’ve always found they cover my needs pretty well here on the East end without having to venture all the way into Midtown. Prices are usually not too far off from what you’d see at Specs on Smith either, maybe a little here, but that’s the cost of convenience.

I agree with the other guys comments. The owners are always there and have always been friendly and helpful. I’ve gone there on and off over the years to support local business. They are not a Huge chain like Specks and I’d much rather support a family owned place. Had a friend refer them years ago for moving boxes and after I get all the boxes I need I also pick up a bottle of something. If anything, stop by every now and then to support local!

As Rusty B. writes below«They have booze here.» If you were expecting anything more, just stop reading because you are going to become very disappointed. You can always expect to be in here with a UH undergrad — the Greek letters give it away. You, being clearly well above the age 21, and he being most likely under 21: he will not get carded but you will. If I lived here when I was 19 years old I would have been writing a five star review of this place based on ‘ye olden fond memories. Alas, as an old grumpy person, I know what they are up to by selectively carding. Prices are higher than Spec’s, and I don’t mean the Midtown Spec’s, I mean any Spec’s in the greater Houston area. Selection is much smaller and less desirable in my mind than any non-Spec’s local liquor store I have been in. The place is dirty. Yes I think everyone in the city should stroll through once in their life just because this sort of is a landmark. But when you have finished your stroll I bet we run into each other in line at Spec’s Midtown where we are actually buying stuff.

If you live at EADO, you should shop here every once awhile. Not a lot of great selection compare to spec, but it is local, and we need to support local business. They do have all the normal selection and the price is not bad.
