Buttons ‘n’ Bows

Great little store with a nice selection of quilting fabrics. The workers are very sweet and helpful.

I discovered Buttons-​N-​Bows while I was looking for an online seller who sells the Bonnie Blue Pattern line. Whenever possible I like to support small businesses.
When I ordered the first time I had not realized that Paypal used my old address for the shipping even though I changed it quite some time ago. I wondered why it never arrived and discovered the issue when I finally went to paypal to look. I re-​ordered and alerted the owner of the shop that it could be possible that the first order may be returned and to make sure to send the new order to my new address. The lady responded that if it comes she will let me know and issue a refund. The second order arrived in a timely manner without issue and is as good as or better than I was expecting.
A week later I received the first order because the new occupants of our former residence were kind enough to forward it. I contacted Buttons and Bows and asked if I might be able to return the one that arrived from the first order and exchange it for a different pattern. She said it would be fine and so I will do this. It was kind of her to work with me on this mix up when she really did not have to be accommodating at all.
I do love the selection of products offered at this store and I learned of several other pattern companies that Buttons and Bows carries which I would like to sew for my children. Browsing through the patterns they offer created so much inspiration for the possibilities of what I could make for my daughters. The quality of the patterns is much better than what is typically offered in big name crafting stores such as JoAnn’s and I do not mind paying for good quality that will last through many sewing sessions over the years.
I think the prices are reasonable considering it is a mom and pop shop and it sells higher-​end and not as easily found patterns and other items. I will definitely order from here again and would recommend it to others who are sewing for children.

I have been going here for alot of years. Owned by the loveliest lady who always makes you feel welcome. Even if all you want to do is drop in for a chat and look at the wonderful things she has. This not your typical fabric store. It has fabulous fabrics, trims, threads, patterns, etc. for hand or machine smoking. They also offer classes. There is also quilting supplies and I believe classes also. And if all you want is to make a child’s garment this is where you will find inspiration. I cannot say enough about this lovely little jewel of a shop. Hopefully it will be around for many more years. She also sells smocking and sewing machines. Lots of sewers gift items in case you need them.
