I love the wings. Way better compared to BWW& wing stop. Only downside cashier had a attitude for no reason. I didn’t ask for a side of a handful of eye rolls with my wings.

Love coming in this place. it’s loud… it’s smoky… the boudin balls are to die for and wings are.

I have been going there a very long time and will continue to enjoy the wings and good drinks. I just wish that they would start a delivery service.

Met up a friend here for lunch and I was pleasantly surprised. The wings were nicely good and sauced and seemed like a nice upgrade over the usual fare at places like BW3s or Wings and More. In what seemed like a converted Wingstop, Bonfire is definitely a new option for me when craving wings. Won’t hesitate to order from these guys again!

Best wings in town, hands down. I have been coming here since 2006(before they changed the name)

I constantly crave bonfire wings and they never disappoint. The spicy creole and original hot wings are delicious, but if you love garlic Parmesan wings… NOONEDOESITBETTER! The sauce is amazing, thick, and savory! Fun atmosphere to eat in or quick service if you take it to go. An east Houston treasure!

Even if they didn’t have the best gumbo this side of Louisiana I would still be dropping in to eat several times a month for their incredible boudin balls. There’s something very special about a family owned business that will invest deeply into the community. The owners are all about a great food, great service and giving back to community.

The creole spicy wings are amazing however the boudin balls are outstanding. Great service every time with the same staff/speed! Try it out and you’ll love it. To the staff… great job and keep it up.

Went there for lunch. Food was good, albeit everything is fried. So, either make it a cheat meal if you’re eating healthy or move on to another place to eat.

I have been reading the reviews about Bonfire wings going on just about a year. I have been telling myself that I need to make time to go and try this place out. Well Friday was the day that it finally happened. I ordered myself the Bonfire special which comes with 10 wings, 2 boudin balls, celery/carrots and fries. I ordered the Jamaican Jerk and Mojo wings as my flavor. I opted to get the seasoning on the fries as well for additional flavor. My boy got the Bourbon special which comes with 10 wings, fries and celery/carrots. They say the Original is way spicier then the Original or hot wings you get from the«other place» I.E. Wingstop or BWW. They are not hotter but do have a better taste. Now don’t be fooled by the celery and carrots being included. If you are like me and love celery and carrot then make sure you ask for extra or your will be disappointed. Why you ask??? Well they literally give you one piece of celery and one piece of carrot. The ranch dressing is a nit watery but since I took my order to go I had plenty of the Hidden Valley dressing at the casa. Now, the drive home seemed to take forever, but only because the smell of the food was making me hungry. I have ordered take out before from the other guys and I had no problem waiting on getting home to eat. The aroma omitting from the bag was hypnotizing. I couldn’t wait until I got home, but first let’s go over the customer service. I called in my order to go because I wanted the order to be ready when I got there. I didn’t want to have to wait 30 minutes or longer on a to go order the way I have to wait when I order to go from BWW. The young lady I spoke with on the phone was very polite and patient. She knew the menu and when I had a question to about a special she was able to answer it without missing a beat. She was very professional and courteous. When she told me my order would be ready in 10 minutes I was skeptical because the other places always took 30 — 40 minutes then when you would get there it would be another 20 before you were attended to. I arrived at the place and when I walked in the place was very clean and nice. The place had a good vibe to it and was not overbearing with music and TV’s blaring like BWW where you can’t even hear yourself think. You could actually talk to the people at the counter and hear them. They have 2 people attending the, to go orders and 2 other people assisting them. I arrived and was greeted by 2 lovely ladies working the front counter. They spoke English… Believe it or not real English… Yes sir no sir the whole bit. No hood talk, No slang, No mispronunciation of any kind. Real English!!! They attended my in a timely professional manner. I was so happy when I left that place I was smiling from ear to ear. Now back to the flavoring of the food. I arrived at home and immediately dove into the food. The Jamaican Jerk was perfect. You could tell the food was fresh… It tasted awesome… It was Sweet and spicy the way I like it. The Mojo wings were a kind of a dry rub but they had a mild kick to them which was good. The original was more than Original flavor it had a nice tangy flavor to them. Unfortunately the fries missed the target… They were fresh cut fries with a nice seasoning on them… They didn’t survive the trip home. They were soggy and lost the freshness… I’m sure if you eat them at the restaurant they would be delicious. The boudin balls were very, very flavorful. I would definitely recommend them. All in all I would say this place has lived up to the hype. I will be trying them again to see if the quality and service stays consistent

Bring back my Tequila Lime flavor and I’ll give 5 stars. I just don’t understand how they could get rid of the best flavor! !

Great little wing place in North Shore. We ordered some Sweet Heat, Cajun Mojo, and Garlic Parmesan wings and all were tasty, with the majority of our group giving the most praise to the Sweet Heat. Took the order to go and they travel well and remained nice and hot even after 15 minutes. Cajun fries and the catfish were also tasty but, unfortunately, didn’t travel as well — they lost some of the heat and crispiness by the time we were able to start eating. Boudin balls were quite possibly the highlight of all the items we ordered. Nice size and plenty of flavor. Again, would probably have been even better if we had eaten them there, right away but they were still stellar. The staff here are also nice(and patient, as we tried to finalize what we wanted). Our order of 50 wings plus everything else took about 10 minutes to prep and I think that was acceptable. Will def come back here again when I’m back in North Shore. Save yourself a trip to the much more well-known and –hyped Buffalo Wild Wings, Wing Stop, etc. I’ve tried them all multiple times and Bonfire is the best wing place in the area. We give Bonfire a solid 4⁄5 and that may have been higher if we had eaten the food right there in the restaurant, just after it was prepared and at the height of its heat and crispiness.

Cool new(to me) find! Wings are awesome, very reasonably priced, cool place to grab lunch or wings to go. Service was good, I sat at the bar waiting on my order(which actually came pretty fast), I had a diaquiri while I waited, which really wasn’t very good, but I was there for the wings, so no problem. This is my second time having their wings and it was as good as the first. So far, I have had original hot, sweet heat, and garlic Parmesan– all three delicious. I will probably try Insanely hot next time because the original isn’t really«hot», but these wings are seasoned very well, not just the flavor of the wing sauce, but actual seasoning which is impressive. The sweet heat is a combination of crushed red pepper flakes and chicken drizzled with a very generous amount of honey– just the right balance of ‘sweet heat’. Overall, I’m glad I found this place. Oh yes, and place was clean too!

Living in the Eastside is tough. There’s not a lot of claim to fame regarding eateries. Thankfully, a friend told me about this place and I’ve practically forgotten about BWW and wing stop. A healthy dose of Cajun on wings. Try the sweet heat and Cajun mojo. Their boudain balls are really good as well. You’ll be back for more.

Great little place! Here are the ratings from both of us for the food we had: Boudin balls were very good: 4/5, 4⁄5. Gumbo is made without roux. It does have okra, so while you can technically call this gumbo, it is best described as soup. I can’t bring myself to rate it as gumbo. On the other hand, it is a really good soup! As a soup: 4/5, 4⁄5. Wings were popular with our dining partners. The Garlic Parmesan sauce was really potent. The ranch and blue cheese dressings were pretty good. Chicken tenders were good,(these are pre-battered from a food service company). Fried catfish was excellent. Both of us decided the rating would have been 5⁄5 if they made their own tartar sauce,(instead, all they offer is some pitiful goo in foil packets): 4.5÷5, 4.5÷5. French fries were quite good if you like soft fries like I do. My dining partners prefer crispy fries, hence the different ratings: 4/5, 3⁄5.

I would definitely recommenced you come by if you’re in the area and craving wings. Most wings places have gotten to commercialized but Bonfire is the definition of a mom & pop which delivers good size and flavorful wings.(Bonfire Special: 10x Wgs, Fries & Madi Gars Special: 5x Wgs, Fries + Drk = $ 18

My favorite place for wings. I have been coming here for about 10 yrs, when it was still named Cayennes… I love everything on the menu, place is small but clean, I enjoy the atmosphere, good customer service.
