Great place to have a drink and hang out w friends. Nice, semi private areas where you can host a little party. Pet friendly patio on the side and in front. Try the Frozen mojitos, one of the best drinks they have!

I just came here again after a long while. Their happy hour is kind of pricey and 9 dollars for fries with housin and sirarcha is steep. I came here because it was dog friendly, but everything else is pretty subpar. Today there was no waitress walking around so I had to wait at the bar to order. There wasn’t too many people, but bartender kept me waiting even though I got to the various before others.

Been here twice. It’s very chill and the atmosphere here is great. They have a menu with some pretty good food. Got to try the fries. It’s a nice place to have a few friends come and relax and have a few drinks.

Cute, chic, and kind of romantic! I love the outdoor seating area here. Weekends are pretty hectic and service often leaves a lot to be desired, but I still love coming here during less busy hours. Wine and cocktails are good here(frozen mojito is everybody’s favorite), as well as their fries(Vietnamese fries are my favorite) and pizza. Beer list is rather puny, so you’re better off drinking something else here.

Overall: Good food and nice chill atmosphere. Music is played at the right volume outside. Nice crowd of all ages. Details: I reserved a table outside and needed a larger table upon arrival(will be more specific next time). The wait staff was very accommodating and friendly when placing us elsewhere. The food does take a bit long to receive, but it’s delish! They seem understaffed and the waiters/waitresses seem to do their best. I like the layout of Boheme and it is more spacious than it appears to be! This is a very versatile place, you can come here for a intimate date or with a large group of friends and still have a good time. Recommend/Tip? Yes! The back outside area is the best.

I loved the atmosphere and concept. We came in on a Friday night, and it was pretty packed. They have a generous amount of both indoor and outdoor seating. We chose outdoor seating and were able to grab a huge table for only 3, with no problem. We ordered the Vietnamese fries and they were delicious! Prices are reasonable. Variety of drink choices. Good service, a bit slow. Definitely would come back. Great vibe!

I like coming here because of the delicious Vietnamese fries and frozen mojitos! Yesterday was definitely more calm than other nights that I’ve been here. The Frozen mojito last night I didn’t finish it it was too sweet. Maybe I shouldn’t have ordered that because I had already been drinking something else. The food took longer than expected. Oh and our server forgot about us! It looked like was stressed out. Or on something. But he did forget about us and it wasn’t even that busy.

4 stars for the incredibly inviting, soothing, feel like you are at an island bar, atmosphere. This is one of my favorite places. The crowd is random — all ages, multicultural, hipster/regular/goth folks. Everyone is super friendly — I’ve always met random folks — love to people watch! Drinks are okay — I appreciated that they had Flor de Caña. Sometimes during the cold season they’ll have mulled wine. I did ask them to make a calimocho and they gave me coke in a glass and a glass of wine all with a weird look. #NoJudgements Bathrooms should have instructions for newbies. No, you aren’t drunk, Yes the mirrors move … You HAVE to order the Vietnamese fries … just by yourself the first time… Then after that you should share.

This is my favorite day drinking spot, hands down. They have a cozy interior, but the outside is what’s up. I’ve been here for happy hour, brunch, and normal meet ups. They can get pricey if you don’t come during specials. Their drinks and food are very good. I was not impressed with the fries that they seem to be known for. Ketchup sriracha and some other stuff with a little bit of meat. They look cool, but leave you less than satisfied. The charcuterie plate was good. High side on price. But good. I went to brunch last weekend and had Korean pulled pork benedict. See the pic. It came with chopped up watermelon. It was delicious. Mimosa was a mimosa, hard to mess up. Finished up with a frozen Mojito. It’s their signature drink. Very good. My wait staff has always been fantastic. Boheme is also dog friendly. Even for my big loaf of a dog. They also bring a water bowl for your four legged friends. I love this. Very appreciative. I will be back frequently, as always.

I love this place! Its mostly an outside bar, tons of tables, covered mostly by large trees strewn with lights for the night time. Super dog friendly!!! Of course its a very popular place so coming early for happy hour during the week. Or early on the weekends is imperative if you wish to snag a table. Or what my friends and I do is ask to share tables with strangers. Good way to meet people and fill in the space. Lol. The flat breads are delicious and the Asian fries phenomenal. They have pop ups here also, but reservations for them are a must. The drinks are a bit pricey if not happy hour but my favorite is the frozen mojitos! Perfect for a hot day. The only downside is the service. Order several drinks at once otherwise you may not see your server again for a long time. They r nice, but I’m not sure if its the organization, the lack of staff, management of staff, or what that is the issue there abt the service. Otherwise, I’m a pretty happy customer.

I have such a love/hate relationship with this place. Good stuff: great atmosphere with romantic lighting and good music, kinda takes you to another place and you don’t even feel like you’re in Houston, huge patio so there is always a seat for big or small groups, get the fries they are delicious Bad stuff: the staff is rude, pretentious, and great at ignoring clients, 6 out of ten drinks are terribly made and taste like shit, bad interactions at bar almost always Good luck!

I’ve been to this place many of times but just started checking in, why do you ask? Well b/c I was being selfish trying to keep this little gem sacred! In any case, this place is a slice of heaven in the midst of chaos(houston). This city is so large everyone needs a place to regroup and this is my «happy place» There are no words to describe the back patio it’s just PERFECT! When the weather is great, do yourself a favor and come chill on the patio here and order a few cocktails! I’ve never had a drink here that I didn’t like. They do switch the drink menu up here and there. NOW on to the GREATGAMBINO, THEBIGLEBOWSKI! The Fries! The Vietnamese fries are sooooooo good, served on a damn cardboard platter loaded with the right amount of spices, drizzled with unicorn sauces these fries will make you believe that unicorns are in that food truck dipping fries in and out of grease!

Recently read about their new brunch on weekend and have bookmarked it. We were excited to try out Boheme since we have never been there. Nobody greeted us at the front bar and we just walked our way to their patio at the back. Saw a server and she said we can sit anywhere. We seated ourselves and waited for 5 minutes, nobody came to give us a menu and my husband had to go to the cashier counter and took 2 menus. Waited for another 5 minutes after looking through their menu and still no server came to our table. Finally saw a server and she just walked to another cleaned up the table right opposite us and no acknowledgement or whatsoever. We just walked out since they don’t value their customers. On our way out, the two ladies servers didn’t even bother to ask us why were we leaving or apologize! We walked over to next door, «Cooking Girls» to have our lunch and tummy were fed and happy! I will give no star to Boheme if I could. Will never walk into this establishment again! First and last!

Ahhhh my ABSOLUTE favorite neighborhood gem! What is there not to like?! Drinks are great, they have«skinny» options too, a trendy yet casual atmosphere and best of all YUMMY fries(that feeds 2+)! If you’re luck or go early, there’s a few parking spots in the back parking lot. Then take the alley straight into the patio. Looks sketchy, but it’s actually beautiful!

Had a first date here last night and it is really a great place for such. We had drinks at the bar and split the Vietnamese Fries, which are enough for a small army but so incredibly good. I also had the mojito — yum! The bartenders were attentive and helpful while not being intrusive. Great experience.

Cute, cute, cute… I like this spot! This is a great place for couples/groups, date night, or girls’ night out. –Nice outdoor seating –Great atmosphere –Friendly bartenders –Good wine list –Nice cocktails(Get the Frozen Mojito and thank me later) –Decent food menu and great happy hour specials –Upbeat latin music I’ve noticed some people have had problems with service from bartenders/waitresses, but I think it’s more about getting them to open up and engage in conversation. Ivan was the bartender on my visit and I had no problems. I also noticed many people ordering the fries and OMG they looked so good and appear to be highly popular. I can’t wait to go back to try those out! I also hear that it’s gorgeous and intimate at night on the patio. Besides parking being a pain, this is a great little chill spot!

Sat at the bar for a good 20 min to order a drink when it was slow. Not sure if we were being judged but waiting that long for a drink in an empty bar seems sketchy. Then instead of asking for ID we were asked if we were 21. NOSHIT! If you do your job correctly ask for an ID

Great place to drink and relax the night away. Place is bigger than it looks with a huge back patio with tons of seats. The best part were their fries. They’re a great portion that can feed up to 5 people. The only real issue about Boheme was that they did not serve draft beer. So settled with regular bottled beer which weren’t as chilled as I would have liked. But won’t stop us from visiting again.

Beautiful wine bar in montrose with jazzy feels and trendy crowds. The spot is spacious but still gets crowded on a Saturday night. The cocktails looked great, but on this night my friend and I split a bottle of a red blend from Napa valley. It was smooth and wonderful to sip on over some casual conversation on the outdoor patio. Overall, Boheme is an excellent stop during the night for some drinks and good company!

I hate leaving 2 stars but I think it’s a must. I absolutely love the décor, ambiance, patio, drinks. However, the service is AWFUL. At first, I thought maybe they underwent management changes, new staff, off night, etc etc etc. But that was like 2 years ago. I will not be coming here for a while, hoping it will improve. I am going to give the waitresses the benefit of the doubt and say that the reason their service is terrible is due to them having way too many tables/big sections at one time. I understand you want to make money but the service is what’s important. I could be wrong, but from observing the situation a few times, seems like that’s the problem. If they just improved the quality of service, this place would be perfect!

Great ambiance & patio but the drinks are below avg to avg and the service was not good at all when I went. I actually wanted almost an hour for a drink and when we looked inside our waiter was on his phone socializing with other employees at the bar.

This place is perfect when the weather is beautiful. Wine by the bottle is VERY reasonable(Some around $ 20 – 25) and the Vietnamese fries are legit. The staff can be a little bit lax but that’s ok with me sometimes. You can’t always be 100% and the bar does get crowded fast on the weekend. Overall, I’m proud it’s in my neighborhood and it’s close to some other great restaurants.

I was looking for a chilled and relaxed spot for a date then Google brought me to this place. I definitely love the atmosphere here, but it was slightly sprinkling a little at the beginning(we kind of just ignored it until it went away). We sat at a table that had a fireplace in the middle so that was pretty cool and also warm for the cool night. Also, we got there probably around 7 something so it wasn’t too pack yet. The waiter was friendly and was doing a pretty good job checking up on us for drinks and food. We ordered the three little pig pizza(subbed the marinara for pesto) and the traditional hummus, both selections were good and I would order them again. I asked for a Shiner and they didn’t have it so she offered an Independent Full Sail Amber Ale, which I thought was really good! I look forward to going back to this awesome and chilled joint. Overall, great food, great service, and excellent atmosphere!

Love this place!!! It’s my favorite new hot spot to chill! The drinks are unique and deliciousness. The tulips and I see fire are my favorite as I am A run lover ! A couple are all you need to feel nice. The atmosphere is relaxed and come as you are… ish. Great for dates, girls night out, guys night out and getting a night cap solo. They also have a few food items on the menu. They serve awesome French fries with Asian sauces, flatbread pizzas, and hummus. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of them. Portion sizes are huge! Finally, Crystal is the best server!!! Tell her what your preferences are and she will pick the perfect drink for you that they offer. She is very sweet and professional! Unfortunately, that girl Alex or Alexandra that we had is very rude and dismissive. If you are going to talk about your guests your coworker tell her not to state at the table while you do it. No tip for you! Which is horrible because we are good tippers. Overall, I highly, highly recommend you check this spot out! Ask for Crystal!

Great atmosphere, comfortable seating. I like how the outside is enclosed surrounded by heated lamps for chilly nights. The inside has plush leather couches with mood lighting and unique light fixtures. The music is soulful as well, fits the ambiance. Although this is more of a place to drink, the food is amazing! I love pizza and the Three Little Pigs and Margarita pizza were magnificent. The pork/ham was overlaid by juicy bacon… yum. The cheese was piled on and you can tell they use quality ingredients. The Vietnamese fries were great too… super crispy & not sure what sauce they put on them but they tasted fantastic. Even as it started to get busy, our bartender was still pretty attentive with our drink orders. Will definitely be back!

My sister brought me here after Pinot’s Palette(around the corner). It’s a great atmosphere to just hang out and relax. Adult atmosphere. No belligerent fools here. Had the cab sav. Was good. Smoked jalapeño hummus was delish as was the margarita pizza. Enough for two. Love that we can just chill. I didn’t drive, but be prepared to look for parking if it’s a busy night. You’ll love this place.

Super cute location with mediocre drinks! When visiting from California, this place was recommended by the locals. They have a very cute patio area in the front of the restaurant and then we walked through the inside bar area and into another patio area in the back. I love strings lights and the feel of this place which is why I gave it 2 stars. We didn’t stay long because the drinks are were this place lost me. We ordered moscow mules and they were served in regular glasses vs. cooper cups. Not a fan of this and the other drinks, such as, mojitos were pretty weak considering the pricing. Also when we went to pay, they said they didn’t know if they could break a $ 100 bill. You’re a busy as hell bar… I think you have the change. Not the worst, but definitely not the best.

Why have I waited so long to try Boheme? GREAT indoor and outdoor seating. TONS of it, especially for an inside the loop Houston bar. Great drinks(on the pricier side). Heads up, street parking or valet. Not a ton of parking around. Loved that the bar was so decorated for Halloween! Again: huge bar — need a place to hang out with a lot of friends? Boheme might fit the bill!

This is a place full of surprises! Outside it looks like a beautiful red Christmas tree illuminated with hanging lights, it clearly stands out. The toilets in the restrooms will make you wonder… Chinese toilet? Handicapped toilet? The toilets don’t look user friendly but stick to your routine(just flush and don’t press any other buttons) The whole place looks small but if you keep walking you discover a beautiful back area. There are red lights all over the place. I love that they play Latin music! The music and the red lighting makes you feel incredibly sexy. When you go DO order their frozen mojito. OMG it is so good!!! A tad sweet for my palate but I’m sure the sugar could be cut a bit. The only reason I didn’t give Boheme 5 stars is because it nearly took my friend 20 minutes to get a drink at the bar. The bartenders kept passing her by and they were not even busy; they should be more attentive.

I came with a friend just for the fries and we were big fans! We actually didn’t know it was a bar, but yes, it is. It was really busy when we came on a weekday evening after work, so we sat outside at the patio bar. The back is spacious and open, and looks like it would be good for big groups to hang out. We came during happy hour, which had deals on drinks. We ordered the bangkok fries and hummus to share. It was SO much food! The pictures don’t make them look that big, but boy they are huge portions. They were served on cardboard rectangles, which was kind of interesting. The bangkok fries were crispy and tasty with the sauces and toppings, and the hummus was good too. The bartender saw that we were running out of pita bread, and offered to give us another portion for free! That was really nice :). Next time, I would probably just get the vietnamese fries instead of the bangkok fries, because I didn’t think the pulled pork was that good, and they didn’t give that much. I think Boheme would be a great place to chill with friends, grab a drink, and share some delicious fries. I will definitely be back again.

What can I say, I’m a sucker for cute outdoor bars. Especially dog friendly ones! I love the intimate, casual feel of the outdoor courtyard– there are a ton of tables and is especially great for groups. There are trees in the back that shade some of the tables from the hot afternoon sun and at night the trees are lit with lights that are strewn on them. There is both an outdoor and indoor bar. The inside bar has a bunch of stools to sit on as well as plenty of standing room. There is also a room inside, adjacent to the bar, with couches to hang out on. I usually only frequent this place when I know it won’t be crowded– random weekday nights or early weekend afternoons. This place is quite popular on weekend evenings/nights so if you decide to come with a big group of friends be sure to come early to snag a table. Although pricey, the cocktails are pretty good here. A must try is the frozen mojito– it’s cold and refreshing, especially on a hot day. Totally worth the $$ price tag. The food here is surprisingly really good. My favorite is the three little pigs pizza– definitely a pork lovers dream come true. For those who are vegetarian, the heirloom tomato pizza is delicious as well. I also recommend the bangkok style fries– who doesn’t love pork, srirachi sauce, and garlic mayo ONTOP of fries?! The fries come out on a large platter, perfect to share with friends. The major downfall of this place is the service. Let’s just say, if you’re having a bad day and in dire need of alcohol, I suggest ordering at least 3 drinks for yourself initially cause service here is sloooowww. There are times I’ve sat at a table and still walked straight to the bar to order cause waitress service is just really really bad. Such a shame for a cute, outdoor bar… I wish they could just get their act together and maybe hire more staff or something… what’s especially sad is, my pups get better service than I do. Every time I bring them with me they automatically get a bowl of water before I even get a chance to order anything for myself. This just makes it even harder to hate this place because they clearly aim to please my dogs. Either way, the food and drinks definitely keep my coming back to Boheme. I just have to cross my fingers for better service every time.

I went here last night because a recently engaged friend’s fiancé was in town for the weekend from Dallas. He likes the«chill vibes» type of bars, so I recommended this bar because of the back patio. I had no idea it was going to be so crowded at around 10 pm when we arrived. A bunch of their friends were sitting at the tables in the front patio since there is seating on the front patio, the inside of the bar, and in the back. Anyways, ONTOTHEFOOD&DRINK: — Vietnamese fries: Delicious. This is one of the popular items to get. I see why. — Pepperoni Chiffonade Pizza: YES. I recommend this dish too. It was damn good. — Old Fashion: Has a good kick to it. — Rhymes with Orange: Also has a good kick to it… I did finish this drink pretty fast. It’s sweet and citrus-y, obviously. — Mojito: On the rocks, since the frozen ones were gonna take a while. Still good. So, this place started out being extremely crowded at 10 pm, but by 12:30 am it died down. It wasn’t too crowded but it wasn’t dead. It was a good amount of crowd. The bartenders were attentive so we got our drinks with no problem. The negative thing that I have to say about this place is that it took over 40 minutes for my friend to get her pizza. They did apologize for it, and it was definitely delicious, but she hadn’t eaten since 2 pm. She ate that whole pizza up by herself in 5 mins. The last thing I expected to order here was food, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised with this place.

I came here specifically to try the Vietnamese fries because I love fries, so I can’t say much about the drinks or the other food. But the fries were delicious! Vietnamese fries($ 9) 5⁄5. Thin crispy fries topped with hoisin, sriracha, garlic mayo, cilantro, crushed peanuts. Genius! And so good. My friend who has a blog for reviewing fries even admitted that these fries were pretty much perfect. The outside patio area is great to hang out at. However I’m only giving 3 stars because it took us an hour to get the fries. I’m pretty sure they forgot our order. I asked them about it after waiting 30 minutes and starving and they said they would check on it. Still took another 30 minutes to get it. But the guy who brought it out did apologize for the«mix-up» and said he threw it some extra fries for us. It is a very large order. We split it between 3 girls.

I love this wine bar! There is tons of seating indoors and outdoors with some nice seating. Valet or street parking is available outside. The bartenders are super friendly and they have some good food and wine specials. We ordered some pizza and the Vietnamese fries. Can’t wait to go back! This place is awesome for meeting up with friends, on a date or just as some time for yourself with a book and vino! P. S. Open a location in DC. ;)
