I drove by Automation Washeteria Carwash all the time and never thought how convenient it is to wash my cars here, just a block from Beltway 8. Doesn’t matter which day of the week, there is always an open stall for me. It has 8 washing bays on 2 separate rows. Vacuum stations are lined up in the front facing Beechnut and behind the washing bays. Sometimes, I get to see Tom. He’s the fellow helping the owner to maintain this establishment. He had towels to help people drying their washed cars. Just be sure to tip him a dollar or two. I usually come for a quick rinse after rain. I need my windshield to be free of watermarks. So I don’t have to get out of my car to take storefront photo of a business. On the far end of front row, there is a life-size museum artifact — vintage drive-thru machine. On the back of front row, there sits the change machine, which never fails. This carwash place is well-maintained, well-lit at night and always clean.
