I used to love living here, but now I am counting the days until I am able to move out. The maintenance here is dismal, and they would rather put a quick patch on a problem than fix it correctly. Corners are cut, so what starts out as a little problem can easily develop into something much bigger. About a year ago, my water heater flooded my apartment after multiple maintenance issues. The responsible thing to do would have been replace it before that happened. After the flood I had to call repeatedly to get someone over to fix the carpet. They didn’t replace it, just pulled it up and dried it out before they put it back. After the flood on Memorial Day, almost 200 cars were lost in our underground garage after spending 2 days in about 3 ½ feet of water. They claim the pumps and drains were working, but nobody addressed the fact that the underground garage across the street from us was empty the next morning. I reported water damage in my unit, and still have not had anyone come to fix it almost two months later. I’m sure there is mold in my walls now, and I’m not the only tenant here who has had this problem. If you are considering this property, I urge you to look very carefully while you are touring. Ask that they bring you to the garage, and you will see that it still smells down there. I don’t feel it was properly cleaned after that stagnant water sat for two days full of trash and sewage. There is also welding going on all around the property because the breezeways are in such disrepair. The workers will not bother to worry about the safety of people walking below, so look out. If the property would bother to hire reputable contractors, this work would probably have been completed already. It has been going on for months. When they were painting the balconies, I walked into my living room to find two men in my patio. In my opinion, that was like entering my apartment without warning. I am staying in the neighborhood, and have found much better values on much newer and better maintained properties with tons of amenities. I wish I had looked sooner. If my review prevents one person from going through what I’m going through right now, it will be worth the time it took to write it.

I just moved in and I must say, I love this place. Renovated, but not to a ridiculously expensive degree. Wood floors and granite counters. Pet friendly and the management are super cool. If I had ANY suggestion, I would say some flowers in the courtyard areas would be nice, but the greenery is nice too. I’d love a deeper sink and 4″ baseboards would be a nice touch, but again, not necessary. The nice tenants, location, spacious floor plan and management are all a big WIN for Augusta Court.
