Ann’s Fine Gifts

This is the only place I’ve ever been over-​helped.
Let me set the stage. I am a 46-​year-​old woman with a small purse and clothes with visibly small pockets. I don’t fit the shoplifter profile.
Every time I have gone to Ann’s, I have been subjected to «Can I help you? Can I help you? Can I help you?» And they will NOT TAKE NO for an answer. The last time I was in, I got asked if I could be helped five times, twice by one person. Dude, your store is not that large. I can find what I want. If you are that worried about me, follow me discreetly. But stop asking me, for the love of God.
Are you that worried about shrinkage? Or are you that commission-​driven? Either way, it’s completely unattractive and sent me to the antique store in the corner of the shopping center, which is much friendlier and far less pressured, and I found what I wanted without being hounded.

Ann’s has great customer service. I come here at least every 3 weeks to purchase their Lamp Berger oils and a couple of lamps they had on sale. A co-​worker told me about this place about a year ago and I’ve been coming ever since!

Great place to come for Lampe Berger oils. Other places have them, but Ann’s probably has the largest stock of oils in Houston and they have a «card» so you get a free one after so many purchases.
They have other oil lamps, candles, soaps, chocolates and clocks as well. It’s a nice gift shop that (I believe) is locally opened and operated.

Have been coming here for way too many years, clocks are their mainstay but they venture out into children’s books, umbrellas, costume jewelry and even a gadget to find my car keys. Have always purchased my Lamp Berger oils here. Today the best surprise they actually had some Santa and Christmas décor on clearance and their paper products which are beautiful napkins, paper plates were on sale for $ 1, best break I’ve had all day. Even bypassed the chocolate truffles. Service is always efficient and parking easy. Not stroller friendly.

They have a assortment of gift! They also have reasonable prices and great service!
