Allure Lounge

Is this place called Fix or Allure? On the receipt it says Fix and I’m looking for it, but everyone says its now called Allure. I just came here last week on the birthday trip for my guy, and it was quite a trip. Oh this place looked really pleasant on the outside and even on the inside, a lot of security guards though. Uh Oh, you know when there’s a lot of bodyguards it is VIP only, mainly, or ghetto. I would say kind of ghetto, may I say that? $ 5 cover, place looked nice, some trance music, some meringue, hip hop, a lot of spanish music, and bachata I think. I’m not too sure the music, but it looked like bachata. Oh, a lot of get down girls, they can get really down, oh yeah. Felt like I was at a nice little strip club, without girls taking off their clothes, but pretty close enough and girls all over each other, and some of them dance quite well. And it seemed like any guy can dance with these girls too. These girls seemed quite comfortable with themselves, I don’t know where they came from, but for a club that sure was ghetto, a lot of the girls actually seemed nice. They did not seem uptight or give an attitude to a guy approaching them. Who knows, that was only that night, and I must say what an odd night to see girls all over each other, nice different dancing, freaky acts, oh yeah and free shots of Ciroc to everyone 21+, wait 21+? Oh man, how old were these girls lol? It was okay overall. What I liked is they had DJ Tiesto, even though they didn;t play him til the end =(

The night I went… some very intimate, but danced quiite well girls.

Went with a couple of friends for a Greek party. We parked across the street, not very far from the entrance. The bouncers seemed really nice. The cover was 10 dollars for anyone after 10:30 pm. The bar had half price drinks before 11 pm and after drinks we’re approximately 6 or 7 dollars, not bad. The dj played a mix of the top 40’s plus hip hop. The place did not get full till about midnight. I had a really good time. While we waited for more friends the owner actually came up and introduced himself which was extremely nice. I really enjoyed the club and will be back.

I haven’t wet my feet too much yet when it comes to dancing but this place is pretty fun. I’ve been able to come through in my sneakers the past 3 or 4 times but I think they were making an exception. The drinks are regularly priced, between $ 5 to $ 7 for a mixed drink. The music is primarily mainstream hip hop as far as I can tell and I’ve been mostly on Thursdays and Fridays. Last night a fight broke out but it was quickly diffused (I didn’t care that much because I was too busy dancing). I like that the bouncers sort of pass in and out of the crowd to make sure everything is safe, makes me feel like I won’t get shot or stabbed lol. All in all this is a fun lounge and if no one is dancing? Then dance anyway. Someone will be sure to follow your lead.
**Why only 3 stars? Because last night this happened: the DJ let us know he was going to play the last song. My FAVORITE song came on that I was waiting for all night («Rockin That Sh! t — The Dream») he played for about 15 seconds… then mixed it to «Do the Ricky Bobby»… which he’d played not but 3 or 4 songs ago. I was SO pissed I walked out. And also, I don’t know how they do it in other clubs, but here, they basically kick you out at 2 AM.

I’ve been here a couple of times and It’s nothing special. I would rate it higher but on certain nights they try to charge cover. The nights I have been varied greatly, one time it was latin night another night it was asian night. I don’t know what to make of this club. The dance area is ok except the times I went no one was really dancing. The VIP areas are cool. I must say one time there was a girl giving everyone a free show on stage. Legs spread. All the goodies out.
