3hues

My daughter takes art classes here every Wednesday, and I’ve attended 2 painting parties. We love 3 Hues! Ms. O is great with the kids and her painting parties are a blast. You don’t have to be a great artist to go home with something wall-​worthy. :)

I really liked this place!
First off: I am probably the most artistically challenged person so I was very nervous to paint because I knew that it would not come out very great however, being a first-​timer was still okay due to the fact that my instructor Ms. O was super nice and led the class wonderfully and with clarity.
I loved the piece I painted and both my best friend and I’s paintings came out pretty great! Completely worth the price and i had an enjoyable time.
I can see this being really fun with a big group so I’m going to definitely try that next time! (:

My mom bought me a Groupon for this place for our anniversary and neglected to use it because I got pregnant. I did not want to let a good cocktail go to waste. So a year later I knew that I would only get the value of half of it per Groupon’s policy. Well once we got to this place… that is forever from civilization.. it is far… I was told that while the Groupon states plain as day «cocktails and cupcakes» that simply means that you can bring your own cocktails or purchase theirs. So I basically waited a whole year for nothing!
I honestly felt like the instructor had a bit an attitude. but whatever… I was there with my handsome husband who is mostly deployed so I just tried to enjoy the moment. The class moved über slow. Plan to be there beyond 3 hours!!! All in all the class was aight… because we got pictures painted by us… but next time I would choose another place.

Love this place! The owner is so personable and most of all talented! Up until about a month ago, her studio traveled to venues around Houston. So glad to see she now has a store front. (Added bonus… it’s right around the corner from my houe, YAY!) Her paintings are unique and instruction is simple. I’ve got all of my paintings on my wall. Will be visiting often.

I took my girlfriend here on a date and she loved it. She was so impressed with me and kept asking me how I found this place. I guess it was because the studio was so nice, we got a free dessert, and the staff was so nice. She wants to go back. I would recommend this place to anyone.

The party was set up at Zanzibar. We were a party of 10. There were about 25 people there. We purchased our tickets on groupon for $ 19/​person. We were given paints, an apron, easel, stencil, and cupcakes. We had to purchase drinks at the bar. They showed us a model painting and told us step by step what and how to paint the picture. It was really fun. Everyone was nice and took pictures. The ladies of 3hues helped you improve your painting (I was no Picasso) but giving advices. It was about 3 hours long. You can request for them to do a private party at ur home.
