I love it! You get so much food! You get enough to save for dinner! YUMMY!

Friend and I shared 3 dishes, Yellow Curry w/Chicken, Basil Sauce w/Chicken, and Pad See Ew w/Beef, They were all excellent. The curry has a somewhat soupy consistency which I like, and the best part where the potatoes, which I find are hard to cook properly but were perfect. The basil was level 3 and was the perfect amount of spicy. The pad see ew was loaded with beef, noodles, onions, and carrots. I will be back again! Also, our waitress was nice, and pretty cute. Bonus!

I ordered mine to go. I ordered a house salad. The peanut dressing was good but too cold and almost frozen in the container so I could not spread it on the salad. I also got the pad Thai which people said was the best they ever had. I do not agree. It does not have much flavor at all and is very dry. Very disappointed in this entrée. I ordered it with no spice and it is still spicy.

Sweet and sour chicken is amazing and I got the spice on the side so I can add as I want

Love this place! My favorite entrée is the pad see ew. It’s chicken and noodles with broccoli, eggs and other veggies. Soooo good. The food is so fresh every time I go. Also love to get the fresh rolls for appetizer.

This restaurant is great! I have yet to find another Thai restaurant that tastes as good. The food has a home-made quality to it. The value of the food is great. The atmosphere is nice. The wait staff has always been friendly and helpful for any of our questions regarding their dishes.

Great food. Crab Rangoon is yummy. Green curry and lettuce wraps also a favorite. Atmosphere is ok, not great and there are no booths. But clean and bright.

Great Thai and the largest craft beer selection in Houma. This is something that it’s traded to find in NYC, or L.A. We are lucky to have it in LA.

I think the first 2 years I came to this place I was stuck on 2 dishes, the pad woon sen and the pad Thai. I have since tried all of the curries and they are all really good. The great food completely makes up for the average interior. The food always comes out fresh and quickly.

I didn’t have high hopes when I visited this restaurant so this review is easy to write. The wait staff here was moderately nice, and seated us quickly. We ordered our lunch and when it came out I was suprised. What I want to review here mostly is the shrimp padthai. The shrimp, was nicely done, not overly dried put or over cooked. They could have added a few more shrimp and this would have been a better meal, but… they really load you up on the noodles… which are reminiscent of thin spaghetti… I was disappointed in this. The sauce was also slightly wrong, but passable. Would I eat here twice, sure, just no time soon.

Love the Spicy Fish – absolutely delicious! And the staff is super friendly and helpful. When you come often enough, they even know your order! Song Phi Nong is a mandatory stop every time I come to Houma!

Tom yum was weak. Red curry was not a pretty color but it was tasty. No lunch menu. Staff friendly enough. Should think about a dress code for servers. I’ll go back.

Best Pad Thai I’ve ever had, hands down. I’ve been to all the big cities, asian populated communities, who knew it’s actually in Houma. Their level 3 spice is plenty spicy for someone who doesn’t like it spicy. I asked for more on the side just as a preference. Pad Thai noodles perfectly cooked– not too soggy or dry. Flavors were on point– sour, yet spicy, yet a tad sweet from the fresh shrimps. They were not skimpy at on on the shrimps. Perfection. Highly recommended.

I have been on the lookout for a decent Thai place since moving to Houma and I have to say, Song Phi Nong may have become my regular spot. The restaurant is very simple, with little care for ambiance… to me, this means«focus on the food, not on the mood», amiright? We started out with some spring rolls that were very good. They were a little on the small side, but were pretty tasty. When you order, you can choose your spicy level of 1(mild) through 5(hot). The server says she usually recommends going with a 2 for your first time(unless you don’t like spicy). Per the server’s suggestion, I tried the vegetable yellow curry(coconut milk, potatoes, onions, carrots). I ordered this at a 3 and it was perfect. The first few bites I thought I could go with a 4, but the heat slowly built up as I spooned more of the tastiness into my face. If I were going to order it for take out, I’d probably try the 4… but I’m not brave enough to go there in public. We also ordered the Pad Thai at spice level 3. The noodles weren’t as dry as I am used to at other establishments, but I enjoyed them. There was egg, onion, bean sprouts and crushed peanuts in the dish, mixed at a good ratio. The service was great. We were given helpful information about the menu when asked and our water glasses were never empty. Everyone was very friendly, even though we showed up about 30 mins before they closed. There is a bar adjacent to the dining room. It looks like a cool little hang out with some great beer options, but we didn’t do much scoping out there… I was hungry. And now I am hungry again for some Song Phi Nong.

Weird place. Looks like a diner but eats pretty well. I had Pad Thai with shrimp. Really tasty. My husband had the Massaman curry. We were both very happy with our dishes

While traveling through the area a co-worker told me I should try this Thai food restaurant that has a craft beer bar in it… wait what?! That of course got my attention and I was quick to hunt the place down once in the area. Using the front door, you walk into a regular Thai restaurant lobby. To your left is a dining area that looks a whole lot like every other Thai restaurant I’ve been to. To the right though, is a doorway that leads into a craft beer bar. I went right. Sat at the bar top and the bartender was very friendly and quick to grab me a food menu. There isn’t a beer menu because, as he explained, they rotate through new beers so often they couldn’t keep up on print. The far wall was one long bank of beer coolers to choose from. Every brand you can think of and plenty you’ve never heard of were available by the bottle. At the bar itself, they also had about 10 or so beers available on tap. Not feeling like a beer? They’ve got a full bar to boot. I ordered the Pad Thai since it’s my usual go to dish for comparison. I had the option of selecting how spicy I wanted it. 0 – 5 and I went with 3. The bowl came out and the portions were very generous. Pad Thai itself was very good and the spice at 3 left my tongue thrumming with heat but not so much I as coughing and gulping water. Great spicy Thai food and great craft beer. I don’t know why I didn’t think of it before, but they’re a match made in heaven. Highly recommend visiting this place for the food and the beers alike. Either way, you’ll have a good visit.

I come once a week, mostly getting the Pad Thai or the Pad Wo Sen. Everything on the menu is very good. Large portions, most people take food home. I strongly recommend !

Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought that a craft beer bar could be paired with a Thai food restaurant. I was drawn in by the craft beer but I stayed(and returned the next night) for the Thai food which was served to me at the bar. I recommend the curry(green or red) or pad thai. The staff was friendly and the service was good and fast.
